1341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: July 10, 2023, 04:25:12 PM
I don't gamble much, but I don't remember feeling "remorse" when gambling. Might be very likely I am light gambler, and I gamble just for fun. But people out there that has "remorse" after gambling, are like all other addicts. We have seen those other addicts that has remorse after doing something, but then again, starts doing the same thing when the "remorse" passes away. Of course, if the person wins, we won't be having any remorse. But if the person loses, and has remorse, then he might either stop gambling, or in worst case scenario, he might be running after the loss, causing him to lose more.
Sometimes, you feel more remorse when you have already managed to win a significantly high amount but then you lose it all back to the house only out of greed, that moment feels too bad when you see it all gone when you had a lot of it a moment ago, and this usually happens when you start thinking that you can get even more if you use the amount you've won but what happens is that you lose everything back to the house and then regret doing that.

I don't know about others but I personally feel more bad losing normally than losing what I have won along with my own money because I could literally have way more money than I had when I started gambling but it didn't happen only because of my own greediness, it hits really hard.
1342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: July 10, 2023, 02:11:19 PM
It is not only about common sense but more likely the responsibilities they have in real life. The more you keep depositing the higher turnover you will get on the casino and the higher turnover leads to feed house edge which will melt the whole balance faster than the blink of an eye with adding greed factor. Emotional control is necessary to avoid such troubles and not everyone has the same mental health as a gambler. Once you deposit your monthly salary in the casino, it will turn out to be a habit in the long run and you will regret such habits one day after losing all and nothing left behind.
This was only true if you are going to do it regularly and you have a high chance of becoming an addict in gambling. Many of us are working in a job and we do use our bi-weekly and monthly salary to play gambling but not all of it because we are still on our right mind and we know that there are other important things to pay and to use our salary than in gambling.

It's okay if we can treat gambling as a habit and I think not all habit can be focused at but you can still play them rarely. It is only bad if a habit or good habit will turn into bad and this is where you are now over doing it and you are now feeling the disadvantages instead of the advantages.

I’ve turned $1,000 into $100,000
I’ve turned $6,000 into $80,000
I’ve turned $11,000 into $550,000
and recently I’ve turned $4,000 into $90,000

With nothing to show for it…I’m a sharp sports bettor, but I always end up going all in. I can never be satisfied until it’s too late. I always need to go all in.

I’ve been reading comments from my last post (turning $4,000 into $90,000 and losing the entire $90,000), and I can’t help but feel like shit.

How do I get over the countless failures? I’ve been chasing the $1,000,000 dream for years.
Everything we do is risks, no risks no rewards that's the system formulation. You're a genius, converting a small sum into a large number, and at the end of the day, you've lost everything; that's just not planning or sticking to your objectives. Furthermore, for disciplinary reasons, principles should be established prior to betting. Everything that happens is your fault, and you're desperate to do what? The little you gain, you keep or reinvest in little quantities while growing and learning. That is how you become a profitable gambler, not an addicted one with nothing but complaints and regrets.
A genius with no discipline is not a genius in my opinion, he could achieve great things if he could do things in a more organized way. When it comes to betting and winning, he surely is a genius and his win percentage is probably higher than his lost percentage and that is the reason why he is being able to convert small amounts into big ones, but what does he do at the end is what makes him start over every single time which isn't what should be done.

I understand that he has a goal of achieving $1m through this method but he can do it with more discipline, maybe cut down the betting percentage after a big win, like if he has managed to win $500k for discussion's sake, he should make the next bet with just $100k and leave $400k behind so that he gets to have 4 more shots left if he loses.

Assuming we are talking about online casino here, Most of the countries doesn’t apply taxes on online gambling that use cryptocurency unless the country is already regulating crypto so the user should voluntarily pay taxes on it’s gambling profit. You are right that casino doesn't charge tax automatically since it's based on the user country jurisdiction over gambling winning. There's no online casino that applies tax on all the profit made by users since there's no way for them to pay the taxes directly to the government of the players country.

It's only possible on IRL casino but it's very rare for the casino to charge tax out of winners profit.
I believe governments will be more than happy to take the taxes from players gambling online either using fiat or cryptocurrencies but the thing is that people don't disclose their winnings and wouldn't let the authorities know that they've been gambling and have managed to win a significant amount through it, because if they do so, they will be forced to pay their taxes as per the winnings, so most people from most countries don't do that.

There can be countries where laws are strict and authorities closely follow casinos and cryptocurrency activities of their citizens so that when they find a suspicious transaction in their bank account or other financial applications they can directly catch them and charge them a fine and the taxes as well.
1345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: July 10, 2023, 06:44:32 AM
We are responsible for our own actions and the potential consequences. You are right, there are individuals who take advantage of people for financial gain, this is the reality in many areas of life, including gambling, but in the end, no one forces people to gamble with money they don't have! So the biggest blame is on the gambler himself, he got himself into trouble. Did he not know better, was he not aware of what he is doing? Whatever it was, the problem was caused by him.

It's why education is very important. We can't stop talking about "don't gamble with money you can't afford to lose", and "don't borrow money for gambling"... the consequences can be catastrophic!
Though I agree with what you say that a person is responsible for what he does, you are totally not getting the point here. The person among gambler and the betting agent who was in trouble in this case was the betting agent because the gambler went to his shop for gambling, and lost everything he had, the betting agent then offered him to gamble with credit and pay back later, and the gambler accepted the offer and lost the credits too but then disappeared.

After some days, the betting agent found the gambler working somewhere and started arguing about the money that he has to pay back for gambling with credits, the gambler said he doesn't have money to pay back, so things sorted out when the person the gambler was working for said he will pay you back with whatever he earns from the work.

In all this, I only find the betting agent to be the one whose mistake this all was, he shouldn't have offered the gambler credits when he saw he lost everything he had already.
1346  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats your thought on: July 10, 2023, 04:19:23 AM
OP, Take a look at the market once in a while. For example, the BTC price is going sideways and suddenly a large amount of money enters the market and makes the BTC price soar, of course there are those who smile and are confused. For those who know just smile and for those who don't know, they are still confused about what happened, why did the increase suddenly increase... I think it's easy to conclude that, there is a large demand for buying and selling less and this is inseparable and related to matters that form the basis of general market sentiment.
It doesn't really always work that way, I know that demand and supply is the way how the market generally moves but sometimes there is a lot of manipulation happening in the cryptocurrency market, whales make big walls or buying and selling orders to either bring the price down or up based on what they are willing to do, if they want to sell some of their assets high, they make a buying wall so that people start buying above them.

When there is no manipulation the market moves very slowly unless some whale enters the market and buys or sells a very large amount of assets which will make the market either go up or down, otherwise, with retail investors it will take way more time for the market to move.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 09, 2023, 01:41:10 PM
If to quit gambling is easy or hard it's very individual. If you are already addicted then it would be hard, not to say impossible, at least without proper help.
If you gamble just for joy or fun then it would be easy but in that situation why would you quit gambling? Only in case that gambling costs you a lot of money because of big losses.
My advice is always to use your head and common sense, don't ever let gambling gets you over and then there will be no need to quit gambling.
Sometimes, those who gamble for fun tend to get addicted to it after a while, so whether we are gambling for fun or to earn profits, the main thing is discipline, if we gamble in a disciplined manner with a fixed amount and a fixed timeframe, we will be less likely to get addicted to gambling and even if we gamble for fun or to gain more value with our bankroll, if we stay in our limits, it will never be difficult for us to stop gambling if we ever need to.

But unfortunately, not a lot of people follow a discipline no matter how simple it might be, they tend to keep gambling and using all their money whether they are playing for fun or for profits, they don't realize what they are getting themselves into until they run into issues when they've lost everything they had.

This is getting weird that a player like Osimhen with his young age and good performance he had in Napoli didn't get any official offers and the only team close to hiring this player is Liverpool while Osimhen can even think about Real Madrid or Bayern Munich for the next season.
I think if somehow Osimhen doesn't accept any offer to join any team in the future Napoli can have the chance to use this player for the next season, otherwise finding a player at this level for a team like Napoli can't be easy at all.
Maybe too expensive Sir, because the rumors are Napoli can release Osimhen if there is an offer above £ 120 million, quite expensive but maybe that is Napoli strategy because after all they are not willing to lose Osimhen in this summer transfer window. Every season Osimhen performance has improved at Napoli, without that man Napoli certainly would not have won the Scudetto. So it makes sense that the price was increased and may will be retained for the new season, also Napoli will also find it difficult to get a new striker who can replace Osimhen position.
After winning title Napoli already announces they will not sell their star player and try to keep him for another season which is good thing, but currently we have transfer market is stuck due to two persons if we have end of this deadlock then surely we can expect anything specially then this amount could be also possible for the Napoli because in case of Mbappé exit from PSG they will get good amount then surely they will try to bring him to PSG, and they are able to spend this amount without any problem with second transfer is Harry Kane as Bayern Munich is having him first target but in-case of failure we can expect change of plane for them as well.

Real Madrid is also looking for the best striker and Mbappé is not into their budget if they fail then surely they can also try for the Osimhen which is surely into their budget but for this all we have to wait for the few more days.

Neuer has always been a bit of a crazy person, that never stopped him from being one of the best goalkeepers they had though, from Kahn to Neuer, there were never anyone better, they were lucky that they found him and made him their goalkeeper to be fair.

However, when you are that good, being crazy could be overlooked, players and staff and even fans could overlook it and even find it entertaining because he saves the ball and that means he is doing his job, the other crazy parts do not matter. But when you start to be not that great anymore, it becomes evident that you are not going to end up with a good result and there is a chance that you could end up with a transfer out, and Tuchel could start thinking about that possibility nowadays.

Lol Bangladesh completely rolled over against the Afghans? Losing is okay but that badly, well it should be worrisome.

Latter out batted and outbowled (Both pace and spin) the former convincingly. I Hope Bongs bounce back in the next match otherwise it'll hurt their WC preparation.
In first two ODI's of this series they have nothing positive batting, bowling and fielding all going badly down and sudden retirement of Tamim Iqbal is also having bad impact on their performance now he is back, but things like these bring negativity on teams and players with Afghanistan is surely improving and now having good experience in ODI and twenty/20 which is helping them for having better results.

Now we have last ODI on 11th July hopefully things will be better for them but overall they need to bring some changes in their system and team as well because with this performance we can't expect anything good from them in big events like Asia Cup and World Cup most chances they could be fought for the 9th or 10th spots if they keep going like this.
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: July 08, 2023, 05:48:35 PM
Only two key players in the Croatian team are over 30 years old, Modrić at 37 and Perišić at 34. The retirement of these two after the EURO will not mean a big change of generations in the Croatian national team, although of course it will be a certain handicap.
However, Croatia still has a lot of young and talented players in the team like Gvardiol (soon to Manchester City) who is only 21 years old, Kovacic (Manchester City) who is 29 years old, Stanisic (Bayern) who is only 23 years old, Majer (Rennes) who is only 25 years old... so there is no need to worry about the future of the Croatian national football team.
I don't think this is the end of Croatia's golden generation and Croatia will be strong again at the EURO and at the next world cup.
Yeah I agree, recently we have impressive performance from the Croatia, and they are surely one of the best country which is producing good players in last decade with this advantage they can do better in coming years as well too many impressive players are in different big clubs in UEFA which have bright future and surely with these quality players things are not bad for the Croatian national team as well which have good history in the short time.

Even there is no doubt Modric is the most impressive player, but we will have few more in coming years which will be better or lower from him but surely will give good performance for their team as already mentioned above about few which are doing good in different countries.
1352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual bug? on: July 08, 2023, 04:11:21 PM
I'm personally not sure how virtual games or virtual betting works because I've never bet on virtual games, but this obviously sounds like it was manipulation since if we compare that with a real game, we know that it is not possible to score 5 goals in just 8 minutes, maybe it's possible if it's a video game and the opponent is too weak, but even in a video game, it will be pretty difficult to score 5 goals in just a span on 8 minutes or so. So, it sounds suspicious to me.

I don't really understand why people gamble on virtual games when they can do it on real games where it is not possible for the bookies to manipulate the results since they can clearly be seen as the matches are being played live or one can easily watch the highlights later on.

Though faucets are not so widely used anymore, you can still find a bunch that might be paying a few satoshis every few hours or so, you can Google it and I'm sure you will find a lot of them that are still active, or you can visit Micro Earnings child board on this forum as faucets and other websites that allow you to earn small amounts of money are generally posted there. I'm sure you will find some.

Also, those who are saying that one cannot get rich through faucets should know that it is not something one would know since the faucets hardly pay 10 satoshis per claim, even if someone claims for 24 hours, they would still only have 240 satoshis hardly which is obviously not a usable amount.
1354  Economy / Gambling / Re: Impossible KYC Requirements - Stake.com - Withholding $6000 USD on: July 07, 2023, 07:12:09 PM
Not much to update on yet, haven’t heard back.

I did ask customer service if I could send the video of me logging into my various utility and bank websites and they said it wouldn’t accept this.

However these are just customer service reps working off a script, if a senior at stake wants this, I can do it.
Have you tried posting on their Official ANN in this forum? If you haven't, you should give that a go as well and they might notice your case and handle it more quickly, you can also try sending a personal message to their representative on the forum and see if they respond. I don't really understand why it would take this long for them to handle the case or get you verified and also reject everything you offer them which shouldn't be the case.

If everything from your end is perfect and has no issues at all, this is really unprofessional for Stake to handle a case like this being the number one sportsbook and casino platform, this will have an impact on their reputation and trustworthiness and all this is only for $6k.

The match b/w UAE and USA was thrilling till the end.  This time Asif Khan performed very commendably, where he played exceptionally well with Sharma and Basil Hameed.  Even the USA team showed some impressive performances But their bowling was not right which is a major reason for their loss.  To win, the team must perform well both in batting and bowling and sometimes luck also plays an important role in the game.  Unfortunately luck did not favor them this time.
The way the USA played was absolutely commendable. Although they can't win. Players often get nervous when batting against a big target. But the USA players batted well in this match. Unfortunately, the USA lost by just 1 run. But probably no one imagined that the USA would put up such a tough fight in this match. Team USA has some very talented players. If these players get proper support then they will become more experienced. And we'll see more great gameplay from Team USA in the future.
In this event USA was the worst team as they fail to have any win but still in this last match they have done good job and fight hard till last ball 11 required in last over but still they manage to score 9 runs with lost of two wickets create good drama in this game, but UAE win the game and have end of this event on high note.

After winning toss UAE done good job and score 308 runs with the help of the Asif Khan big inning 151 which contain six sixes in reply USA which lost few quick wickets but still they were on their best have good fight middle-order give good stand and have good chance for the win of this match but fail with now things needs good changes and improvement in all departments if they want to have better chance for the future in this game.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do 90% of Bettors Lose in Sports Betting in the Long-term? on: July 06, 2023, 04:02:54 PM
You talk about sports betting which mainly depends on one's research and analysis skills and not only their luck, the fact that 90% or even more lose in the long run applies mainly on gambling games where the outcome of a bet solely depends on one's luck and nothing else can have any influence on it. About sports betting, I don't really think one cannot stay profitable in the long run as long as they can manage to have a better win rate than the loss rate.

So those who are into sports betting should think about making their research and analysis skills better over time so that they have enough knowledge and experience about the games they are going to be making bets on, that is the only way they can maximize their chances of winning more bets over time.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: July 06, 2023, 09:36:29 AM
It is quite funny to see what level this elections are dropping with the candidates. I mean it's the media obviously but media wasn't this sharp back in the day, it is getting ludacris these days and I am not really expecting it to get any better. Back in the day we would talk about tax cuts, new taxes, education, healthcare, military spending, retirement age, and many things like that which made sense because they were valid points and everyone would try to show how they are more capable of doing their work and the other side was terrible at their job.

Even though it was funny to see one presidential candidate to say to other they are incapable of being a president, it was at least honest. Now we see "he drinks the bloods of terrorized children!" which is just too sad to see, that is basically lunacy, it's literally insanity.

I have been following the recent news related to the young and promising Turkish player Arda Guler recently. He is such an impressive talent at this very young age that he has been monitored by even huge teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid these days. Firstly Barcelona wanted to sign him and they were close to an agreement. However Barcelona wanted to loan him right away and he didn't have such intention. After hearing about this Real Madrid intervened the race quickly and finished the deal.

Normally his release clause is 17.5 million euros but the details of the deal go up to 30 million with add-ons. Real Madrid must be really satisfied to sign a talent like him for a very cheap price.  Smiley
Real Madrid is doing things for the long run even Fenerbahçe is not happy as Arda Guler selected Real Madrid instead of Barcelona, but now deal is done, and he will be part of the team for the next season because we have few other rumors as well which are indicating they have done right deal on right time with Valverde is also linking with possible move to Liverpool which is going ahead in coming days, and they are going to have huge amount with this deal and now spending this amount is still giving them good profit and a good exciting player is now also part of this team.

The deal is already finalized with official announcement coming and Real Madrid will pay €20 million plus add-ons with this deal things looking positive from Spanish side, and he could be part of team quickly as well.
1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 06, 2023, 05:18:25 AM
Looking at ATM record, they have won some titles here and there that's true, but reality is that Barcelona or Real Madrid ends up winning most of the titles and they are clearly the dominant ones. Doesn't mean ATM won't win, sometimes they do, and they are easily the third best team without any competition, they are clearly there, but they are third for sure, there is no doubt about that.

In the end, we are going to see them do as best as they can, and try their best once again for sure but they may end up failing to win it again. Spending money doesn't equal to winning titles at all times, look at Chelsea and you will see how they are not doing all that well, and ATM may end up with bad transfers that doesn't help them neither, it would be very weird to see.

Good coach for PSG but i doubt he can win the title for PSG this season. PSG didnt sign a lot of big players plus too many superstars already left them. Question still is if Neymar will still play for PSG. Still i wonder if he dosent win the champions league will he get sacked in the first season like coaches before him.
Everyone is going with his own view about this news and surely things are never been predictable and easy while you are going to take job like this but as we all know Spanish Luis Enrique is having good experience and quality to handle this job with now we are going to have few changes in PSG as well because many big names are already leaves this club, and now he needs to start from scratch which is good challenge, but he can handle this all, but he needs more time as just two years are not enough with sometime things can take time for having positive result.

Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappé both are in limbo but surely if they leave we will have good alternatives as well because PSG can afford to bring any player with short notice and many big names are already available in this transfer window now just wait and watch how things works for the new coach and PSG in future with league title is also going to be tough as well.
