801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Out of curiosity, how much you wagered recently? on: November 07, 2023, 06:14:45 AM
Trainwrecks is affiliated with Stake. We really don't know the details of his agreement with them but it is unlikely that those billions of dollars he gambled with came entirely out of his own pocket. Streamers don't have any obligation to disclose how they can afford to gamble such massive amounts. Casinos are trying to sell you a product and it's in their best interest to convince people that this sort of fame and wealth is attainable by anybody. It is only an illusion designed to market their business.
Details of agreement is a personal matter so we will never know it but as long as the streamer is recently known that he carry the Stake logo, then for sure he is still under the contract of Stake. And yeah, I'm also sure that most of those money at least have come from Stake and not on his own pocket because man, that was pretty huge lol.

Even the legit millionaires or those who don't have a connection with a gambling company can't make it possible even though they are only playing to increase their wagers. Hiring a streamer is a part of promotion but what we are talkin here is only the wager amount. I mean may be most of it are still losses, so that is not enough to convince the people to join Stake.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 07, 2023, 04:53:25 AM
Romelu Lukaku has scored 6 goals in 9 Serie A games this season, so I don't think he's too bad to expect. Of course Romelu Lukaku cannot be expected to score goals every game, but Lukaku can be expected to make his best contribution this season.

So far Roma have won 4 of their last 5 matches, they are ranked 7th with 17 points. The chances of getting into the top 4 are very high, especially if they can maintain consistent performance, but I'm sure the competition this season is very difficult for all teams. I think Milan this season is too inconsistent, they failed to win 3 of the last 5 games, they are bad but the season is still long to expect them to improve.
There was too much talk about Romeo Lukaku before joining Roma, but his performance is giving good reply to haters with good results are also improving Roma rank and if they will play with consistency things can go into better way for them in both title races even currently Serie A is having two strong candidates but as we all know here history is having drama and surprises so in coming matches we can expect things like these recently AC Milan having internal issues which are hurting them badly, and recently they lost few matches which bring them down.

Roma recently having four wins out of five games, and now they are at the seventh spot sharing with Fiorentina next match against Lazio is going to be important for them for having better things in the future.
803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 06, 2023, 04:21:25 PM
Girona getting the leadership once again and after so many weeks is a marvel to me. I mean I get that a few weeks could make sense, every team could have a good few weeks that could be done, but that doesn't mean that you are going to end up with a result that would be easy to estimate after a while.

I believe that nobody expected them to be this good and they are doing better than anyone else could have said beforehand. It's even a bigger shock than the Spurs results at premier league, which nobody expected neither but Girona feels even more wild without a doubt, they are a small time small value team if you compare it to everyone else. Joao Felix is a different situation all together, that dude was expected to do a lot better.
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 06, 2023, 03:02:01 PM
should casinos sponsor sites that deal with gambling addiction and cure
I believe it's not for us to decide since it's not us running the casinos, so I think the question should go with "would" instead of "should", like, "would casinos sponsor sites that deal with gambling addiction and cure?", and the answer to that, from me, would be no, because it wouldn't make any sense for a casino to sponsor a program that basically tell people to stay away from gambling as much as they can which technically means less customers for casinos thus less revenue.

It is casinos' way to repay those who put in a lot of money and get addicted or they shouldn't care because it's the gamblers' initiative to play.
Why would a casino have to repay those who put in a lot of money or get addicted when it's not their responsibility to cure addictions or stop people from gambling? A casino is a business, and no business would want their customers to stop coming back to them, even if a casino says that one should gamble responsibly, they don't mean it since the more a gambler wagers, the more revenue they will make.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed or risk on: November 06, 2023, 02:09:24 PM
It's just crazy when a lot of people mind other people's stuff. There is nothing wrong with giving advice but it is wrong when someone tries to insist. It's like some people here making posts and talking about how Elon Musk was a failure and what things he should do in order to make his business better. It's crazy. We should look at ourselves in the mirror before considering to mind other people's business.
It sometimes feels like some people care more about what you do than what they do themselves or need to do, lol. I mean, do what you have to do instead of focusing on what I'm doing, it's my things, it's my life, and it's me who should be deciding what's good and what's bad for me. If you think that I'm doing something in the wrong way, just suggest me a better way, and if I think that your way is better than mine, I will follow it, but if I don't think so, I'll go with my way and you shouldn't have an issue with that and don't start arguing with me for that.

OP probably did the same thing with his friend, he did what he thought was right for himself and he was confident with his decision. OP suggested something but he thought his decision was still better so he went with that and OP started an argument with him for not thinking that his decision was better.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 06, 2023, 01:09:46 PM
reading previous posts, it looks like there are governments that require casinos by law to donate to organizations that deal with gambling addiction, but I am pretty sure not all governments require casinos by law to do that. anyway, if the casino decides to sponsor a site that deals with gambling addiction, it could be a good look for them. also, apart from that casinos should strengthen their gambling addiction preventive measures.
I like a government like that but are these governments still get their own tax? That will be a double expense then for the casino, but they can't do much about it if that is required to them.

As long as they can earn something why not? Apart from that, there are also casinos who donate on charities and other causes and I believe this is not required by the law anymore. I also like this even though it's not about the addicted persons. Those casinos we talk earlier are for sure already strengthen their gambling addictive preventive measures. Once the cases are lessen, that is a good thing because they don't need to do donations anymore.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos good or bad? on: November 06, 2023, 11:15:42 AM
Just heard for the first time in this thread about telegram casinos.
Maybe this could be good experiment to get more experience because as you said gamblers can enter the site only with telegram account.

I doubt that telegram casino programs like this are just fad and can't develop as well as the crypto casino market in general.
In addition competition in the gambling industry is quite tight which means that many new trends always lose and are at the bottom.

If we discuss whether it is good or bad, it depends on how they provide service and provide comfort to gamblers because these two aspects are priorities that gamblers always want.
But it doesn't seem to require KYC and this could be an advantage for them even though we don't know if we later make a large withdrawal whether we still don't need KYC or instead ask for it.
Like the OP said, they are not new. Maybe you are not only like to hang out online and visit different sites to know if what is in or out. But that's fine, they are not necessary anyway (the Telegram casinos). They are only like a lite version or on-the-go version.

The full version or the online casino that we/most of us already know is still the best. Like I said earlier, these Telegram casinos are like a lite version, therefore yeah, I also believe that they won't require a KYC upon the sign-up up and until the time we make a withdrawal. In spite of it, I will still doubt their credibility. There are users in the past who ask if how can they attain a provably fair feature.
808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are too focused on history repeating itself on: November 06, 2023, 08:45:22 AM
There doesn't need to be a black swan event and people should not expect something like COVID-19 to happen again because it was disastrous for the whole world, many many lives were lost, and people lost their loved ones because of the virus and its effects. And we have already seen Bitcoin touching $16k in this cycle, what else would be a lower bottom for people who are expecting that? We have already been through that phase and people should know that.

Expecting that Bitcoin will go down again from here and mark another bottom below $16k is unrealistic and if that happens, we are not having a bull run after the halving event this time around because it will take years for the price to recover again from that point as it already took more than a year for it to reach this position from $16k.
809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you rather make your investments in FIAT or CRYPTO? on: November 05, 2023, 06:44:18 PM
The crypto market has an high level of volatility, anyone who is about to make an investment need to have a good understanding of the volatile market. Now the question is even with the volatility will you still choose crypto over fiat when it comes to making investments?
Making investments in crypto or fiat? Or using crypto or fiat for other investments? These are two different scenarios, in the first one, you buy a certain cryptocurrency or save money in a certain fiat currency hoping for its value to increase over time against your local currency so that you can get some profit. The second one is using either cryptocurrencies or fiat for making investments in something else, like a business or something, that will generate revenue for you.

For the first scenario, I believe cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin, would probably be a better choice since it's volatile and its value tends to go up from time to time and drop as well, but it eventually generates some profits for you. For the second part, I believe it's better to simply use fiat to invest in a business or something, also because cryptocurrencies can't be invested directly as they aren't widely accepted.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between crypto gamblers - regular gamblers on: November 05, 2023, 05:11:00 PM
Maybe that is because crypto are kinda technical. It helps people to became smarter but there are still crypto users who are not those you described. This is where I can say that it'll still depend on the person no matter what payment methods they are using.

There are non-crypto gamblers who can get curious about how crypto works and what are its perks but there are also some who don't bother about it anymore. Maybe some will only, once they heard something that they will like. About money handling, again this will depend only to the gambler or person. Can't you see that a lot of threads here in the forum are about crypto gamblers who are getting addicted? Same goes to the rest that you said there.
811  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: November 04, 2023, 08:44:31 PM
I agree about Pochettino part to be fair. United is 8th and at Champions League, still has a chance to go to last 16 as well if they get 2 more wins, we all know that, and they could very well end the season at top 6 for premier league, which isn't what they would desire but it's there, and they are very close to that, even fourth is not impossible at this stage. Whereas, Chelsea spent A LOT more money and they are 11th right now and doing much worse and only thing they are focusing on is the league and yet they are still not doing that great.

UCL part matters because Erik Tan Hag was the one that took that team to UCL, whereas Pochettino is new and hasn't done anything but lose. So I think him being 21.00 odds versus ETH being 2.38 is unfair, Pochettino deserves to be fired a lot more than ETH does.
@wiss19 I have a different opinion here because Ten Hag was allowed to get the player’s he wanted and Poch got the player’s Todd wanted and for this reason I’m sympathetic with Poch and thus I believe that he deserves some more time. Furthermore Ten Hag is constantly playing his favourites and totally throwing player’s under the bus instead of acknowledging that his tactics are horrible and when a coach does this a lot it’s time for him to leave.
Pochettino did get players Todd wanted but not like he was given a bad hand, dude was given still good players and any decent manager would be able to get those players and build something better than what Poch has done so far, dude is making nearly a billion dollars worth team into a mid table team, that is not acceptable just because it wasn't the players he wanted.

ETH on the other hand was the manager that made the team third last season, so why would his tactics be terrible all of a sudden? He has a credit with the team that should see him do better, to be fair if he goes to europa and fails to go up the group stages at UCL then it might be game over for him, but he did had a good year last season so I think he proved that he is not the problem, if he was, how did he achieve that last year.

BYE BYE NEW ZEALAND and THANKS FOR MAKING 401 Runs  Wink

It's not really the end of the World Cup journey for New Zealand. They are still on the number 4th spot and they have a better run rate than the other teams with similar points. I would still say that even though they lost today's match, but they can still qualify for the semi finals.
On the other hand, Pakistan not only have to win but have to win big against England in order to move up ahead of New Zealand.
There is no doubt we have massive win for the Pakistan in today match against New Zealand even after having target of 402 but still celebrations are too early because Pakistan needs to play against England, and they lost their last four ODI against them which is also problem with New Zealand is having their last game against Sri Lanka with their record is very impressive against the Sri Lankan.

Today we have massive below for the England team as now after having seven matches they are able to have just two points with this currently they are at the bottom of the league table and now having chance just for the eight spot which mean their chances for the Champions League are also almost ended England's end of this world cup is surely nightmare for them and their fans as well.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner needs your advices in gambling. on: November 04, 2023, 11:18:20 AM
Welcome here mate in the forum and as well as to the world of gambling. Good that as a newbie you already know how to do your research about what are the legit casinos but can you name that casino? For us to confirm. Some casinos are unique that they can have a high minimum deposit and high minimum bet, so you should also check that out.

About the best games, I think you can get different answers with it since many of us has their own favorites. All you can do is to try and discover yours too but I think slot games are much easier than the live casino games. So as a beginner you can start here. Gambling can affect you negatively if you over done it, so self-control is the key here to enjoy only its benefits.
814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Force Your Children to Learn Bitcoin on: November 04, 2023, 09:44:35 AM
There is no benefit of forcing anything on children. They pick things based on their interest. If we force anything like Bitcoin on them, it will be with them for short time but they will leave it later. On the other hand, if they pick something of choice, they will have understanding of it for life.
There is a benefit actually. What about forcing our child to go to school? Just don't let them force doing the bad stuffs. BTC is not bad because we are already benefiting with it, so it's not bad if we force our children to learn it as early as possible.

There are benefits if they can learn it early. Don't let them be like us who doubt BTC for a long time and regret learning it late because we already missed a lot of opportunities. We shouldn't let our child decide for them selves. Can't you see, that there are lot's of children who do drugs, getting addicted in video games, and similar negative habits? Obviously they will keep doing these because it gives them a good feeling, but it was still wrong and must be corrected ASAP before it/they completely destroy their lives.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most you have ever lost in one session? on: November 04, 2023, 08:23:55 AM
The deposit money was the most important one for the gambler to take the big risk in the game.If the gambler made the deposit of 20$ like you said,he never go for the big bet in the game. All his betting amount is like below 1$ per bet.If the gambler want to enjoy the full game in the gambling,it’s better to use the big deposit minimum of 100$ in to the gambling. You also use the dice for the auto run option with the minimum deposit like the 20$ into the gambling. If you made the deposit of 20$ for 5 times,it won’t add to 100$ in a short period of time.So you can make this way for the minimum loss in the gambling game, but for the better win you should build an unique strategy.
It is still possible. It can be that they can afford it, or they will do it in hopes of recovering their previous losses quickly. For those who don't want to take big risks, this is where they can bet lower amounts or deposit lesser than 20$. This is also a way to enjoy the game more and not the other way around. Dice isn't the only game that has an auto-run option but almost all casino games has this.

I only don't use it often because it kills the fun factor, but it is useful if you are hunting something which can take a long time to find, and it helps you to multi-task. 5 times $20 is $100. The only way it won't add to $100 is if you won on some of your $20 deposit, making you not deposit again.

This is Afghanistan's fourth win, shortly we will see Afghanistan in the number five position in the World Cup tournament for the first time.  We have reached the end of the World Cup tournament where each team has played about seven matches. After playing seven matches, the Afghanistan team will be at number five, while the team below Afghanistan will be Pakistan, Sri Lanka, England, and Bangladesh.

Those who claim their cricket board as very rich cricket board should learn from afghanistan because condition of afghanistan cricket board is very bad and have many staff who are not paid properly they don't have good ground to practice and their home ground is India.

India, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa, whichever team you call better, I would say that South Africa has performed best in this tournament.
Currently, all cricketing community is talking about who is going to win this world cup with India and South Africa are hot favorite with their performance and achievements in this event but still nothing is predictable because we have history of surprises and shocking results but as right now things are going I have feeling most chances we will have these two teams into final with anyone can win from here.

Tomorrow we are going to have two matches with first match is between Pakistan vs New Zealand and second match is Australia vs England both Australia are New Zealand are favorite with their performance, but recent injuries are going to hurt them Maxwell and Michael Marsh out for the Australia and New Zealand is also having worrying situation which can create problems for them after having impressive start.

Even most of the cricket pundits are already predicting about India, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand are favorite but still any upset can happen which will allow Afghanistan or Pakistan for the fourth spot.
818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: November 03, 2023, 11:22:19 AM
Some gamblers do not even care about staying responsible whenever they gambler. Some people just think they more you bet the more you could earn with time. There are people that can bet from morning till night on casino games and the more they play, the more they tend to win and lose. Sometimes after a long bet on a casino, there winnings might be much but they still see it as a responsible profits. We should always endeavor to be responsible whenever we bet and take due actions that will prevent us from being an addicted gamblers. Gambling is supposed to be gradually not for us to rush it because we have target.
Gambling shouldn't be considered a way to earn money, it's as simple as that and most people still don't get it. When you gamble to have fun, you don't need to care about it being gradual or quick, as long as you are having fun, it's okay if you are losing quickly or playing for very long, but maybe not too long because that will also make you an irresponsible gambler because a responsible gambler will manage their time very well and won't spend half of the day just gambling while abandoning other stuff.

However, one should remember that gambling isn't going to make them rich, well it might, but that thing happening has a very low probability which is almost about 0.000001% or even lower than that. So, someone who is chasing something that has a probability that low of happening, is out of his senses, right?
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dangerous chasing losses on: November 03, 2023, 10:01:00 AM
Really, you're not a regular or an addict gambler? But your screenshots shows like you are one of it. And I'm sure this wasn't the first or the last, but I hope you can recover and change your gambling activity drastically. You said you are sick.

You already took a day off, so you should use that to take a rest. Gambling is a worse idea to do for the person who have a bad experience about it, but good for you that you have recovered your losses and still end's up as a winner. If not, the regret must be heavy if you don't have any money left, but some gamblers will take a loan, sell stuffs, do crime, etc.. only to try again. This is one of the dark and scary side of it.
820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigerians spend $975m daily on online betting on: November 03, 2023, 07:29:11 AM
The numbers are alarming but I'm pretty sure that there are miscalculations, if there aren't miscalculations, there surely are mix-ups in those numbers, specifically the $15 per day part which is almost half of most people's monthly salary in Nigeria because their currency has no value at all against USD. Nigeria is a country where there isn't a lot of wealth available for the general public and the country itself is a middle-income country with a HDI of about 0.5 or something.

So, I'm pretty sure that among all those people who are involved in gambling are some that are rich and spending a lot of money on their gambling activities which is why the amount being spent is that high and those making calculations are taking out the average being spent is $15 per day per person which isn't what all of them can afford to lose every day, of course.
