Why windows wallet does not fit in the computer?

Why do not I see any offers in the marketplace? What is an alias? What's going on?

Why have you not read the posted materials? http://syscoin.org/blog and https://syscoin.org/faq all of your questions are answered there. FAQ has search too.

The team's price peg is now live at http://peg.syscoin.org! You can now list items for all currencies supported by the peg! Or create your own pegs Smiley

We do plan to add other altcoins to the peg in the near future. If you have any suggestions we're happy to add by popular demand!

Official Syscoin 2.0 Launch Update

Quick update before signing off for the night. The team has been working on the migration all day and while there were a few minor changes needed to make the process smoother for exchanges things have proceeded exactly as planned. We're still waiting for some major exchanges to complete the conversion and communicate to us all balances are satisfactory. While some have already done this we've asked them to wait until at least the other major exchange has confirmed before reopen withdrawal/deposit to be fair to all traders on both platforms.

We're still operating within the 24hr timeframe we communicated, and we'll be releasing the full launch announcement along with some other materials tomorrow morning (US/PST). This way the team can be online to answer questions that may come up related to using Syscoin 2.0 features or general questions about the conversion process.

Looking forward to sharing more in just a few hours! Smiley

Has a guide been published yet re how to upgrade the wallet? Link?

Thanks Smiley

sounds like few options:

1) upload sys to exchanges for swap
or
2) import private key into sys2 wallet
or
3) sounds like just dropping the wallet.dat from sys1 into the sys2 folder will work as well.

all 3 are valid

#3 is definitely the preferred option and what will be outlined on the blog post released tomorrow w instructions on how to convert. You must use #3 to ensure all change addresses properly move to the new wallet. Again- this will be covered in instructions posted tomorrow. Instructions will cover Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Account has been disabled for some reason?

Shoot me a pm w your username pls, can get you up and runnin again.

Sry if we've been a bit quiet, its only cause we're busy hard at work. We're within 48hrs of launch now (probably even closer as time has become a blur to me!) and we wanted to share something with the community that we've touched on before but I think its important people realize just how powerful this feature is and how large a userbase it immediately enabled with Syscoin's Decentralized Marketplace Smiley

how to claim sys2 coins? I have sys1 coins in my wallet,

We'll have a post w full details up prior to launch but pretty much you just run the new wallet over the old wallet. We will have full instructions including a video walkthrough posted prior to launch.
89  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: SYSPOOL - 2% fee pplns -BTC MERGED MINED w/5 other coins. First pool w/SYS 2.0! on: April 24, 2016, 04:10:43 AM
Nice, keep up the good work. Really looking forward to seeing Syscoin 2.0 client get released.

Thanks! We wanted to stand up our own merge-mined pool because we found with Syscoin 1.x (which is scrypt algo) there were actually several pool operators mining Syscoin alongside LTC without telling their miners about it or paying that SYS to their miners. There were very few public pools offering SYS as a merge mined coin, and because the "private" pools were putting in so much hash solo mining wasn't an option.  We wanted to provide an offering in this regard to give miners a fair shot in addition to contributing to the safety and security of the Bitcoin and Syscoin network. We hope more miners will join us.

I'm working on getting the pool added to more Bitcoin mining lists as well!

91  Bitcoin / Pools / SYSPOOL - 2% fee pplns -BTC MERGED MINED w/5 other coins. First pool w/SYS 2.0! on: April 23, 2016, 09:36:50 PM
Syspool allows you to mine BTC while merge mining a number of other coins concurrently, maximizing your profits. The pool uses PPLNS payments and is ran by the Syscoin team. There is a 2% fee which is used towards covering hosting and maintenance costs. The pool server is located in NYC.

The pool is currently merge-mining Syscoin 2.0 in "test" mode, live payouts for SYS will begin after the 2.0 launch in which its switching from scrypt to sha256. All other payouts are live right now!

  • Stratum protocol for mining pool.syscoin.org:3334
  • PPLNS payouts
  • 2% fee
  • Automatic payouts
  • No withdrawal fee
  • Variable difficulty mining with automatic adjustment
  • Merge mining with Namecoin, Devcoin, Crowncoin, Unobtanium, Syscoin2 (live at launch)
  • Simple registration. Just provide your coin payout addresses for the coins you want to receive.
  • Slack channel at http://syscoin.slack.com #syspool. Join Syscoin slack via http://join.syscoin.org
  • Ability to anonymize visibility on stats/leaderboard pages

The pool is new and we're hoping to get some more hashpower on it to crack some blocks! Check it out and if you have any suggestions please share them we're always looking for ways to attract more miners to the network.

96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Oficial] RoxoCoin | New AltCoin | PoW | Good Start For New Miners! on: April 13, 2016, 03:48:13 AM
Large? I get the lowest PreMine, you van get upto 70% And i only get 1%. Its for the Owner or creator have some coins, if the have a good price, he will can sell at a good price

Large in terms of it seems you haven't invested much time into developing this coin beyond cloning bitcoin and changing few (very few) parameters in the code. Additionally the mining rewards are small, and spaced out by 3min each meaning it will take ~9.68 YEARS for their to be as many coins on the market via mining as what you have allocated for yourself in the premine.

My math:
84,848,485 premine / 50 coins per block = 1,696,969.7 blocks to achieve premine supply via mining
(1,696,970 blocks to achieve premine * 3min per block) / 60min per hr / 24 hrs per day / 365 days per year = 9.685 years

Although dev seems to be good-hearted, I don't think this is going anywhere Cry

I think there would be more support from the community if the premine weren't so gratuitous, or if there was some clear plan to use the premine to better grow the value of this project.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Oficial] RoxoCoin | New AltCoin | PoW | Good Start For New Miners! on: April 12, 2016, 09:27:12 PM
Coinbase maturity           3 blocks
Target spacing                    3 minutes
Target timespan                    9 minutes
Transaction confirmations    6 blocks
Coins Per Block (Today)        50 Coins
Total Coin Supply                84848485 Coins
PreMine                              1% = 848485 Coins

...

RoxoCoin Plans:
1. Make a Site of RoxoCoin
2. Make a Block Explorer of RoxoCoin
3. Launch RoxoCoin on a Exchange Site
More Later...

Why is there such a large premine and what is the premine being used for?
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin-FINAL BETA LAUNCHED! *ENCRYPTION, MARKETPLACE, BTC INTEGRATION* on: April 12, 2016, 08:48:23 PM
Does Sys marketplace ensure anonymity trough Tor or I2p?

Currently it can leverage TOR in the same way as the bitcoin wallet. This doesn't ensure anonymity 100% but by using Tor, a VPN, and a mixing service you can have a very high level of confidence in breaking the chain of traceability between your person and a transaction. We avoided adding anon txs natively because we felt it would deter many mainstream merchants by creating the perception that Syscoin was developed solely for illicit activities.

is this not the cost for the sys Huh

The miners have also cost to mine or not?

Yes this is the cost to the team for setting up the pool- setting up a merged mining pool for multiple coins is neither cheap nor simple. There will be a fee for miners to support the hosting costs of the pool.
