Doge coin?

One thing I noticed recently, is the mass-spam of a coin here at the forums,
and amazingly, people seem to be supporting it and buying it.
Defied my logic and reasoning, and many other peoples too I think
it seems to be a corporate internet company with perhaps at least 100 staff that released that coin.
I cannot imagine how else it might have done what it has done otherwise.
I imagine a telemarketing office with over 100 dialers, except these people
are all on computers, and then there are programmers who pre-program everything
for the 'telemarketers', and they just sit there and the screen changes and up pops
some topic that they have to post in, within a certain amount of time,
and then they click the post button, but the program at this 'call centre' delay the output,
and randomize the timing of the postings, so that the posts come out randomly and throughout the day and
night, and these telemarketers do that for 8 hour shifts posting whatever pops onto their screen,
as the programmers have set up for them. I know, I used to work at a telemarketing office that was kind
of like that.
I think this internet company also has graphics people who work fulltime on pics for the coin,
and programmers and cleaning staff etc....

And they can just pump out the spam, 24/7 like that, and its all in a days work.
There isn't any way that other coins without the 100 person telemarketing office might ever compete with that kind of marketing. And the level of preparation and timing, indicates an organized company doing it.
Not only that, but I see they use subtlety and guile pretending to be something other than a coin, almost
like chinese people who pretend they don't know how to speak english when you tell them they owe you more money for the coffee they just bought off of you.

Anyways, I think that it may be upsetting some people that this coin, also has been trading millions of dollars in coins every day, and has a marketing campaign perhaps larger than bitcoin. In addition, I am thinking they have the techies working for them, to create every possible type of tech site that they want, in order to continue to mass spam.

you know the coin I am talking about. notice i didn't mention the name.

I think the original poster is actually most upset with that one coin. just ask him if I am telling the truth.

Now wtf ? Are you going to allow this to continue or what?

Its not fair to punish all the altcoins because of the mass spamming of only one coin.
Therefore, do something about that one offending coin, and leave the rest be.

I don't know everything  Smiley

I haven't used payeer before so I have no idea how good it is. I might give it a try.

paid Payeer with BTC
Payeer is good for USD. Deposit BTC or ther crypto at C-CEX.com - the process is fast and shown in "Funds" section in realtime.
1603  Other / Meta / Re: It's Time For Theymos To Kill The Alt Section on: January 29, 2014, 04:22:04 PM
I think the more logical thing would be to make a sub forum for each Alt coin and no posts allowed outside. So each alt coin will have its own section and everything pertaining to that coin will be in that section. What we have right now it too much clutter and it becomes very difficult to browse and find topics.

Let me know of any other coin that has a mining module like Gridcoin has? This is what true innovation and development is all about.

Boinc Processing for Team Gridcoin! This Graph will only keep going up and up!!!

Gridcoin
With the scrypt-sleep coming soon, hashrate and power will not be waste only on securing the network, but also to contribute to research.  Also was added to the first exchange this week, momentum is building for this coin.

Also Maxcoin may be interresting.

Yes the number totally mined GRC so far.

I think Rob has to put up a block explorer that shows all the details. Otherwise there is no way market cap can be calculated.

Trying to fill out the form i am stuck on this quetion:

Please provide a URL that shows the total number of coins in real time.
Required. For example, Feathercoin's total number of coins can be found at: http://ftc.cryptocoinexplorer.com/chain/feathercoin/q/totalbc

Can anyone provide me the link.

Thanks.
Okay, I will put the qty of issued GRC on the block explorer, will that satisfy the requirement?  Let me know before I code it.

They are doing server upgrades now. It was on their twitter.

Re the c-cex.com exchange: yesterday it was accessible from a secure link (https). Today it is only accessible from a regular http link. Is this mischief or just an updating issue? Anyone know if the site is safe in its present form?

1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gridcoin now trading for BTC and USD on www.C-CEX.com!! on: January 28, 2014, 10:45:28 PM
I was thinking of asking Rob to make block explorer so we can see everything.

Looks like we need a better block explorer first as there needs to be a real-time "total coins in circulation" that they can pull the data from.

Just giving everyone a heads up that, as of this morning, Gridcoin is finally on its first legitimate working exchange, www.c-cex.com

It has a very a smooth and responsive interface, and from my experience instant deposits, trade executions, and withdrawals. If anyone is interested in buying or selling Gridcoin, feel free to give the exchange a try!

can anyone contact coinmarketcap.com?

board on the train please

                                                                                                                     What is Gridcoin?

GridCoin is a new peer-to-peer internet based cryptocurrency that aims to provide real benefits to humanity by compensating the coin miners for participating in BOINC projects that may lead to advances in medicine, biology, mathematics, science, climatology, and astrophysics by concentrating a large percentage of the computational power towards BOINC research - instead of generating unnecessary heat and wasted power for the proof of work algorithms required to keep the coin network running.

                                                                                  Official thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=324118.0

So far 8+ million points donated to the Boinc network.

Even of nothing comes of this coin, at least some work was donated towards Boinc science research and I am happy about that!!!
