1621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: June 13, 2019, 03:28:03 PM
Surely everyone has different reasons in general. For me gambling is only for fun and now maybe not for an income. I am sure that many make gambling an income and that is true. Maybe I will do the same thing in the future because surely everyone every year must have increased needs.

It is true that need are never ending but one should not get struck for the needs that it has to come form the income of gambling because in such cases people end up losing a lot of their wealth rather than making money from it.
1622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 13, 2019, 03:24:37 PM
World cup organizing committee should have taken prior measures about the weather conditions. Continuous abandoning of match will cause a problem, because according to the table each and every team will play equal number of games, but the team which gets opportunity to play a d if won reaching the top of the points table will be much easier while the team getting equal points need to take extra efforts for the same.

Finally the suspense over between India vs NZ and rain has again cancelled the match in Bristol and this is hat trick for Bristol that 3rd match in the WC has being cancelled on the same venue. So will India vs NZ happen in this WC in Semis or in  Final ?
1623  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Holding unregulated crypto asset may attract punishment in India on: June 13, 2019, 11:29:07 AM
Still the decision of government is same, undecided. But there are lot of rumors were circulated all around that forum that holding cryptos is a no bailable crime in India.

But it is like fake rumor created for the purpose of brind down the crypto prices.

It is quite clear from the government stand in last couple of years which they have clearly stated that they are not in favor and do not encourage the people to use it. this is clear indication that they are not going to make it legal in the country.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 13, 2019, 08:43:40 AM
It's very easy to say but difficult to do. When you gamble it is very difficult for you to control your emotion, as most of the time you just get carried away.

If a person is self control and have discipline in life difficult seems to become easy. Yes at times you may be carried away but you would recover from it very soon and would not become addictive to gambling because if the control you will have on yourself.
1625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 13, 2019, 08:40:43 AM
India vs NZ is going to be played at Bristol the location where already 2 of the matches which was washed out due to rain at the same venue. Also the ground is wet currently and definitely it does not seems it would be 50 overs match as rain is continuing in between. So we might see some short overs match or a wash out.
1626  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold exist 1000+ years. while bitcoins exist 10 years. on: June 12, 2019, 03:33:23 PM
You can not compare both gold and bitcoin, they do not have any thing in common, gold is a physical valuable, while bitcoin is a digital asset and Bitcoin has achieved more value in 10 years than gold in 1000 years.

That is true that btc is a recent phenomenon and future may be great for countries which ban it or may not make it legal will be worthless and for them gold will only be the case they have to be with it and btc is digital currency which has many uses as well .
1627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will become zero value? on: June 12, 2019, 12:18:04 PM
It can go 0 value if bitcoin is going to 0 value, i cannot see a scenario where that would happen in the next 5 to 10 years imo

ETH is here to stay and grow in coming time . So we can expect a good rise from this point of time and not a downfall as said by people here that it will fall or become zero etc . Those  who want to make money can invest and get good returns .
1628  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to bitcoin in india on: June 12, 2019, 12:15:50 PM
Bitcoin is not illegal in India. All the FUD news coming from the media predicting that soon a Crypto Ban bill can be passed.

Their is no bill that is going to be passed or it will be made legal . Govt has cleared the stand before itself that the do not encourage any such things else they would have bought it and made legal before itself and would not have to wait for now .
1629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 12, 2019, 10:18:02 AM
This rain is really starting to frustrate me as that makes it three matches now where the rain has either stopped play and eventually abandoned or the match hasn't even had a single ball bowled. I just hope the Australia v Pakistan match has a nice sunny day as I'm interested to see how Pakistan goes against a top team.

Pakistan bowling first have not got anu success still now. Its 11 over already bowled and OZ is cruising at 58 runs without a wicket. If this continue for another 5 - 10 overs OZ can make a 350+ score on this pitch and will  make thing difficult for Pakistan when they come to bat second. Pakistan requires 2 quick wickets at this time to make things under the control

1630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on an insect fight? on: June 12, 2019, 05:50:51 AM
This game is just for fun, I also want to bet on the insect fight. In my country animals or insects are commonly used to bet, the most popular favorite animals are roosters. Chance of win will certainly be difficult to determine because this depends on their strength.

I would not take it seriously and nor watch as well. Just in case if anytime want to do it for fun might end up doing it or else would ignore as it make no sense as such where you do not know anything and might not gain anything as well from it.
1631  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Market Stabilizing? on: June 12, 2019, 05:45:36 AM
You are talking about $6000 so yes we can say that the price is stabilizing right now, but if you study the chart, you'll see that there was a big dip when it hit the $8000 and this will continue to happen along the way, it was a whales manipulation of the market based on their analysis and it will occur so many times as we go along.

I think market will is stabilizing at 8k levels and finding the resistance at this level as well. This could rise form here and next target would be 10k levels and crossing this would be the first of the achievement for this year.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From Janitor to Millionaire on: June 11, 2019, 01:59:25 PM
This was on the news this week on our local television. A man named Vito Halasan was won a 7M canadian dollars in a draw. He is already on late 50's and is currently working as a janitor and buy lottery tickets for the hope to have a better life. I dont think that this man is lucky but i consider him blessed. They say that gambling isnt the answer to poverty but this man becomes an exception knowing he deserved to won and i know its really for him.

“I buy lottery tickets so I can dream. I dream of being able to take care of my kids and make their future better. Now we’ll be able to buy a nice house for my children and grandchildren,” -  Vito Halasan

In every rule, there is an exception but we also should not compare his life to us. The universe wants to make him win because of some particular reasons. If you devote your money and time with gambling, you will end up with a life completely opposite to him. Hardwork and dedication is really the key.

Here's the link for complete article:
https://news.mb.com.ph/2019/05/29/filipino-janitor-wins-7-million-jackpot-in-canadian-lottery/

Personally, I am not impressed with this story, i know it is true, But the fact is not everyone has too much luck. Actually, i have listen a lot of stories about lottery, that once a man who bought a lottery and one day he won and become rich. So he is only one man out of millionaire people, and i am sure it is not you and me. That's why i don't like lottery system.

One should access their own luck and game rather than thinking that if they won i too can win etc . For us money importance of 100$ also may be a lot than other people so we need to worry about how we utilise that money . Can we lose in gambling and still live a good life etc .
1633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anticipating a spike on: June 11, 2019, 01:56:36 PM
Bitcoin is currently at about $8,500. I just placed sell orders at: $11,000, $13,000, and $16,000.

For some reason, I am waiting for a super-long upper shadow. Any thoughts? Any probability?

I think you're nuts to leave any amount of BTC on an exchange locked in a sell order. Just my opinion though.

The price is quite higher go considering the placed order . If it would have being 9 or 10k it would still have being a better option but anyways nothing wrong as just keep and forget it as for long term investor it would not be a real concern .
1634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: next alt coin to rocket on: June 11, 2019, 12:11:56 PM
LTC.  In fact the rocket has been going on since about January with 5X gains.
Well this is very right we have all seen the rocket moving, LTC It has slow movements but is very certain so most people are not aware of it.

It would be great if LTC could move further up as it has some scope for the upside and those who hold the coins could gain some upside from the rise it happens. Though I am not very sure fo the long term perspetive at this point of time as going with few other altcoins which could hit possible much higher return in coming time.

1635  Economy / Speculation / Re: On short-term traders on: June 11, 2019, 10:36:55 AM
I really think that short term traders have a little risk in not making their targets because of the range of their trading points, Yes this still count as gambling but with a little risk involved, And even though they are basing their assumptions on the previous market flow there is a high chance in winning by taking that chance than to do a long term trading.

Short term trading is a better option as you are less prone to volatility which could happen in the mid or long term. Though markets recover in the end but if you need immediate money in between than may have to sell even in losses which may be really disappointing thing to do in the crypto as you can make a good return in crypto markets if stayed invested and in short term can book profits regularly.
1636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin gambling on: June 11, 2019, 04:35:01 AM
In terms of safety, I think Bitcoin as the medium to use in gambling is safe because we don't need to put our personal information to the site. There are some sites that offers Bitcoin as the currency to use in gambling.

Can we make a living on gambling?? Hmmmmmm I don't think so unless you have a very large capital to use then you can but to gamble for life is not advisable or not a good decision to do.

My major concern is that in gambling losing is easy and if you lose btc while playing then it means you are losing a fortune bcoz that btc may be worth say 100$ today but in future it could be worth multiple times and you end up getting none as you have lost in gambling.
1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 11, 2019, 04:33:41 AM
The rain is really causing problems with another match abandoned between South Africa and the WI. I think it was luck for SA that the match was called off as the WI looked in fine form bowling taking to early wickets for 29 runs in 7 overs so for them to come out with a point gets them on the board however if they have any chance at making the semi final they will need to win the rest of their games which will be a massive challenge as they still need to play New Zealand and Australia and even Pakistan and Sri Lanka could give them some trouble so there is no easy games for SA.

With the match being cancelled and 1-1 points allocated to both the teams with this SA is getting away from the top 4 position now as they would now have to win all the matches and depend upon others in terms of NRR or points now. But SA will want to think how did they lost those 3 matches and due to this they might even be out of the WC now.
1638  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-06]President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro: ‘I Do Not Know What Bitcoin Is’ on: June 10, 2019, 02:45:06 PM
Bolsonaro is a retard and hardcore neo-nazi who got elected by bribing the agro-business lobby and the pentacostal/evangelical churches. He is hell bent upon destroying what is remaining of the Amazon rain-forest. Some people call him "Trump of the South", but I am sure that his IQ level is much lower than that of the real Trump. So it is only normal that he don't know anything about BTC.

I am sure he would be knowing about btc but just do not want to give much air to this topic due to which said that he does not know about btc. Else it would be so much ignorant that some one like him who heads Brazil  is unaware about it and what is the other officials doing if they have not informed it to the president .
1639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is time for Bounty hunters to hold/hodl on: June 10, 2019, 02:43:23 PM
Frankly I have been holding my tokens from bounty campaigns for over a year but still the devs hasn't been enlisting it on exchanges. Anyways, I am still optimistic that those tokens will somehow get listed in the market and that I could harvest the fruit of my labor.

If the tokens are worthless then you might end up getting nothing as many bounty program were run just for the benefit of the owners without having any vision or a long term plan. People just got stuck with such bounty and regretting now. Just move on from here and do not overthink if they do not add any value in long term.

1640  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10000 is just around the corner it seems. on: June 10, 2019, 11:36:24 AM
It looks like something happen and price drop and we are not close to 10k$, i think the drop happen because someone sell a good amount of coins, but after some time the price will grow.

Though we are way from the 10k for now but it would not be too long before we could see the 5 digit mark for the btc to happen and this is the time to buy some at lower rate so that one can make some good rise form the price improvement and books some short term profit along with the long term as well.
