Just as simple as that the word " discipline". You can able to manage your self not to become addicted to gambling. And you know always what will be the consequences in the future when you did not implement in your self to discipline. Earlier, the Indian players used to participate in county cricket occasionally to get experience on foreign pitches. But now the BCCI is no longer allowing this practice. They feel that if they allow the players to participate in the domestic leagues controlled by the foreign boards, then the BCCI revenues may take a hit. So ideally they should organize B team tours to countries such as England and Australia. But form what I can see, they are not doing that as well.
I am not exact how true this statement is because earlier there were international off season for players to go to England and play county cricket but now the cricket schedule is so tight there is literally no off season as there is cricket round the clock throughout the year and then there is franchise T20 leagues and that is the reason other than the cricket board not allowing due to financial concerns. Your doubts are right. good amount of Indian players play in the county(Eng) games ( only Test players) few names comes into my mind such as Ishant, Pujara, Ajinkya, Pritvi shaw, Ashwin. even kohli was about to play few games there last year but his injury ruined the party. Even I never come across with this county matches played by the Indians, really good this will help the Indian players play on pitches like England. But according to you most of them are tested players like Pujara, Prithvi show, etc. Even King Kohli went for a county match that is really very good news. It is good idea to go and play county cricket because you are in touch with the game and play with other opponents and in their country which also gives you leverage to play in other conditions and adjust to that situation other than the homeland. |

Playing in Australia is a different ball game all together for Sri Lanka, Steve Smith is back in the international T20 team after 2016 and if Warner finds his form then it will be difficult for Sri Lanka, they white washed Pakistan with a young team but defeating Australia is a tough task and Australia too having some young players like Ashton Turner and this will be a good test for both teams to test and finalize the best team for the upcoming world cup. If any of the above two batsman find the form than you can expect the firecracker performance from the team or their chances automatically increases of winning against the SL. Though not underestimating SL, but considering the firepower OZ have they have better chance of winning it. |

Both worse, both can ruin one's life and family relationships. Once addiction happen in any circumstances it will affect your system and everyone around us, not just financially, socially and more in our health. Both affects our health, cigar can cause death easily same with addiction in gambling due to too much stress and not sleeping since scared of missing out the chance to play, to bet or roll the dice. I think that we win in sport betting or in roulette and this kind of games the winning amount is not an amount that we can split with others.However if someone wins the lottery or a million dollar jackpot in a slot machine in this case is different,I think anyone lucky enough should donate a considerable amount to charity causes in the world.
If the amount is really big then yes one can easily donate a certain percentage of it as a charity . But overall if I see generally people if calculate would on be losing side of overall profit and loss is calculated so would not be able to do any charity . |

For me health problems caused by cigarettes is the worst you can suffer between this two vices so I will select cigar addiction is worst than gambling you only lost money on gambling addiction but on cigar your health is far most important than money, many people spend thousands of dollar to be able to become healthy but not on gambling.
Between two I would go with Gambling addiction beacuse people who are badly effected have lost not only their savings but have huge loan on them and might even lose their house etc or effect their health any which ways , relationship is spoilt etc . Ban vs Ind series was at risk for a while but good news is that board has been agreed to fulfill all the 11 demands of the cricketers and have promised to ensure better environment for them. Now players are back. It's very unusual that they were being paid lower amount despite being 4th richest cricket board. Anyway, good to see the problem is solved.

World Test Championship final still very far but India playing its cards right so far, next series is against Bangladesh (One Test) where Indians can fancy 120 points more and widen the gap more, unless Bengali tigers upset them which is unlikely but who knows what future holds. Here you go Hamza is gone, he was looking good though. i have doubt if Bavuma can play big inning for proteas. on the other hand Ashwin look rusty with his short spell. They lost 6 wickets and they will be forced to follow on and India will be winning by an innings, the pitch is turning and the South African players are finding it difficult to face the spinners. Speaking of Kallis. everyone rates him very high and rightly so. i just leave it here.
probably the best all rounder the world have seen, he can do everything except being a keeper, good defense and if he wants to accelerate he can do that too and one of the best slip fielders and can bowl for a very long time and when he debuted for South Africa he was able to bowl really fast and with time he added variations. Never expected such a performance from South African batsmen. Indian pitches aren't that difficult for bat on even if you hail from South Africa moreover not only spin 3 wickets are taken by pacers so South African batting is struggling considerably. A clean sweep for India in this series would be a real morale booster and gap between number 1 and number 2 will be further widened. Not the days start SA would have wanted and just they are falling like the pack of cards and due to which they have lost 8 wickets and just a score of 136 and still behind by 350+ runs . So they will get a follow on and will have to come to bat again today . |

There was a discussion earlier here that UAE is fielding a weaker team because of match fixing scandal and so on and i was confident that Ireland would defeat them easily even with a full team, but UAE played a spectacular match yesterday restricting Ireland to a modest score of 125 runs and UAE chased that with 3 overs to spare, i really wonder what the odds would have being.
This is a huge margin considering that It’s joy the best team of UAE and still they could easily manage to win the match by sparing 3 overs is a significant thing. This would boost up the confidence of the other players and team management as well. |

Already South Africa has lost the 2 wickets for 9 runs so it shows the current status of the South African team. I think they will not going to cross 200 runs mark so I hope the Indian team will be going to win the match with innings.
It looks like if India bats it will be a batting pitch and when ever South Africa bats it turns to a bowling friendly wicket  . I hope a couple of players play a long innings for South Africa if not we will see a complete change over in the team for the next series as none of the players are batting well. I think the season is the main culprit here. A bit of rainy season with clouds can hamper all the play after 4. However we these days do sometimes see use of floods light to ensure play resumes until the stoppage time. Maybe rain is due tonight which is why we are seeing some clouds. As far as i can see Ranchi's weather forecast there is sort of an overcast situation.
I was watching the South African innings and i could not see any rain but the stadium was getting darker and hence the match is stopped, not sure about the location as it looks like it is a different climate than the usual tropical climate in India and if time is lost because of this and if South Africa could play a long innings then they could draw the match and rescue their face. What a series going on for India. Always they have batted first and ensured they have good score on the board in first innings and put pressure in SA first innings and same happened now as well where SA have lost 2 quick wickets on a score of just 9 runs. Tomo if they can survive then it would good to watch else again India might clinch it. |
