With Smith in the team there is no way England could win the series, Smith scored 82 runs in a score of 186 Australia scored in the second innings and with the tremendous form he is in i do not see England causing any upset in the next match, the only test they won when Smith was not in the team. The problem with both the teams is that no one is able to score big runs apart from Smith and he is the man of the tournament.
Till now Smith is the only one winning matches which is a good thing as well as it's not. If by any chance Smith fails in the last match, England would be winning it while Australia seriously need a batsman who can score 100-150 in test matches besides Smith. Currently, Aus bowlers are also better than England but still England aren't a weak team who keep losing matches so for me both are equal without Smith. Stokes needs to buck up and perform like he did in the 3rd test. Because he lost, England lost the match. Smith performance has helped him to become no 1 batman in ranking and definitely played a vital role in Oz winning the test match as well . Warner just not able to be back in form else it could be a huge bonus for OZ when this two play together and a right and left hand combination also helps the team . |

Australia is winning this so easily. Because Stokes failed miserably in both innings. Nobody from England can match upto Smith and he just missed one match and England managed to win it. It means Aus mainly depends on one player who plays tremendously well for them. Still England have managed to bring down the number of runs from 380+ to 211. 7th wicket gone now.
Comfortably Oz will win this test match as now they just require to pick 2 more wickets of England batsman and England still require 200 runs to win this test match . OZ would be happy with their team effort and Steve Smith again played a crucial knock. |

The only test match being played between Afghanistan and Bangladesh is all about going to end soon and Afg team is showing a good progress. They made 342 and 260 runs in their innings and Bangladesh on other hand managed to score 205 and struggling in their last innings at 130/6. Bangladesh require another 268 runs to win and 4 wickets remaining, and this is the 4th day of the match. So, Afghanistan will be really happy with their performance.

Yesterday we had Delhi vs Haryana where Delhi lost the match badly by 22 points. Finaly score was 47-25 . Vikash and Prashanth from Haryana both earned 10 points each and this helped them to take the lead and keep their team ahaead of Delhi in this match.

It's possible for England to lose the match, considering the fact that day 5 isn't favorable for batsman at all, they already have lost 2 wickets. I didn't think that this match will get an output.
However, chase is also possible. They have a whole day to score 365 and you know it's not impossible if one big partnership can be done. I'm expecting Roy and Denly can continue on Day 5, at least till 2nd session. That would bring a good output.
Unless rain hit the match most likely OZ should be winning the test match from here as England have lost the 2 wickets and they still require another 365 runs and 8 wickets in hand . Very difficult for England to hold on this test match if they have to bat for 90 overs in order to either draw or win for themself . |

The good thing for England is that they have managed to avoid the follow on... They just need 15 more runs, with two wickets in hand. IMO, Australia may end up with a lead of around 150 runs and then they will try to add another 200 runs in the second innings by the end of the day today. England might need 350+ to win, and unless some miracle happens (and some help from the umpires) it is going to be 2-1 for Australia.
A miracle has to happen for Australia to win this match if England manages to avoid the follow-on. They only need 6 more runs to avoid a follow-on with only 1 wicket in hand. Keep in mind there is only 6 sessions left. Even if AUS manage to get a mammoth lead, ENG will make sure to play the full day tomorrow. So, the chance for AUS to win is to take a wicket now before they score another 6 runs or show some miraculous bowling display tomorrow. Edit: ENG got past 300 and there will be no follow-on. So this game is more of a draw. I think match is heading towards draw or maximumm OZ can win. As they suppose even take a lead of 180 odd runs and make 150 runs in 2nd innings which means Engalnd batting 4th will have to make 330 or more runs to chase would never be easy. Considering the time span is now getting closer towards 5th day, so OZ would have to bat quickly to make quick runs and get England all out in a day or so. |

Yesterday UP won easily against the Patna Pirates by beating them to 41 - 29 points. The other was an exciting and a nail biting match between Bengaluru and Telgu Titans. Bengaluru won by just 1 points where the score ended at 40 -39 points. It was a tough and intersrting match to watch .

Once Sri Lanka scored just 125 runs, I thought that New Zealand would easily win and whitewash Sri Lanka but to Sri Lanka's credit they fought back strongly and bowled well to get New Zealand out for just 88 runs and win the match. Malinga ripped through New Zealand with one of the best T20 bowling performances since T20 cricket begun.
This was the case where people had thought that it would be a cake walk for NZ. But Malinga had some other plans itself and in spite of his age he delivered something exceptional yesterday and the only bowler who have taken twice 4 wickets in 4 continuous ball. Truly he has some potential left in his bowling now as well. |

After 2 loses of T20 match between SL vs Nz , SL might lose this match as well as they are just 60 runs for 3 wickets in 11 overs . Nz might whitewash SL by winning this match and winning the series by 3-0 . SL would like to win this for their pride if they can manage to bowl well and restrict them under the score made by SL batsman .

Are they underestimating England to not even score 250 in the first innings or they just felt they are short of time? Looks like his astrologer told him declare at 497. Sometimes these captains make such weird decisions that I feel they all follow numerology. It would have being better psychologically pressure of 500 to score would bring them under pressure . Though OZ took the first wicket before EOD itself would be rewarding and would like to wrap the inning quickly and if given a chance they should give them follow on . |

That's very interesting to see a ride getting five points for Dabang Delhi. Out of seven players in a team just two players left for Pink Panthers is really a big thing in kabadi. In the first three minutes of game Pink Panthers have gone all out. Chandran Ranjit of Dabang Delhi is the rider to take the five points.
Very rare when a team gets all out in first three minutes of the game and definately hardly couple of such instances in whole tournament it happens when a raider gets 5 points. This is the first time happening by far if not mistaken. Well done Ranjit . |

Guys, battle between Smith and Archer is beautiful.
I was also expecting good battle battle between Smith and Archer but at the end Rain won and these both have to wait for next round of this battle which is going to be very exciting. Rain interuption actually killes the excitement at times and also when it is ashes you need to have the complete 5 days test match as both teams have being perfoming well. Also after winning the toss OZ decided to bat first and playing well for 107/2 and Smith is on crease batting with 38. |

They did not choose any man of the series even though the series got over. They could have chosen Rahane who performed well in both matches.
Virat is now on the 2nd position and Smith after a year ban is on the first with just 1 point more. Hope Virat can perform better against SA as his performance was not so consistent in both matches.
Smith has come back strongly after the ban and continuing his best performance. Virat would definitely want to get back his top form against deadly SA as it would be a tough series for India. WI would have thought of better cricket but just did not deliver it . |

It's over now almost. I don't expect Hanuma Vihari and Pant will do wonders but still they are not like noob actually.
With the way the match is going India will cross almost 300 runs and that is not a bad score in the pitch, i am yet to see Vihari play but he is scoring runs for India in this series and with the bowling line up India has it is a really good score as i cannot see any really consistent player in the West Indies team. The domestic circuit in India is strong and so is the reason they are producing quality players. Any score 300+ surely is going to be good for India as their bowling is very good and West Indian batting is ordinary they still need some good time to fix these problems and India is not going to give them this chance as right now they have some good chance for gaining good points and surely they are not going to miss this golden opportunity. With the test championship started each team will like to make maximum gains by winning that game and tournament and take those extra points by winning the series. So India will play its best players in this match as well. |

Currently in ranking Delhi is leading with 44 points followed by Bengal, Pink Panthers, Haryana & Bengaluru with 39,37,36 and 33 points respectively. And last team is Patna with 18 points. So huge difference between first and last team of the table.

Also Srilanka team is struggling in all forms of cricket and Mendis was one of the best bowler for the srilanka at the present moment. I think he should have being with the team as rightly said at this time team required him and his experience as not much experienced players of the SL team is playing and with this another one out . I don't agree with users claiming Ben Stokes as one of the best players in the world right now. IMO, he is a very over-rated player and he is incapable of single-handedly leading his team to victory. On the other hand, Steve Smith and Virat Kohli have led their team to victories all by themselves several times. Stokes has done that on a few occasions, but he is miles behind Smith / Kohli.
I thing he is a good all rounder player at the moment considering the past few innings he has played and has definately desreved to fall in that category. Though not be the best but surely he can be considered in that zone as he has delivered under tremendous pressure which not every can play that sort of innings and bowl as well . |

That Ben Stokes batting performance was something special, wasn’t it. He was amazing in the World acup too, what a player. Two tests left in the Ashes now & it really is up for grabs.
No doubt one of the best all rounders at this point if to be considered Ben strokes name shoudl deifnately has to appear. World cup innings was something out of imagination considering the pressure was totally on him as he could only help England win the first ever world cup from their. He also had a past where on his bowling four sixes were hit and Engalnd lost the cup. |

Quite a good match yesterday betwen UP Yoddha and Puneri Paltan. Though finally UP team played well and desrved their win by beating the Pune team by 35-30 points. Both this team are not in top 6 as of now. Currently UP is on 7th Position and Pune is second last team in the current rankings.
