Today's first match between Telgu Titans and Bengal Warriors was a win for Bengal Warriors with a one point difference of 39-40 Am happy to see Mumba's is still in the race else in the start, they were on 5th position I guess. Bangaluru and Delhi are current competitors and compared to both, Bangaluru looks more strong. Yes it’s good to see Mumbai is trying to pickup from the way they had started it . I am genuinely surprised with Sri Lanka agreeing to tour Pakistan and am expecting appropriate security arrangements have been made to tackle the threats.
Pakistan would probably win this series even if the experienced Sri Lankan players were in the team which is why I am expecting Sri Lanka to lose this series, but they will definitely give them a tough fight. It will be interesting to watch how Pakistan perform after their World Cup journey.
I expect a tough fight as both teams does not really have that experienced players though home ground advantage will with be Pakistan . So as such it would entertaining to watch out how the two teams proceed and plays though security would be the top priority for any player their . |

This is definitely a big jolt to the team as best bowler is now out of the test match which actually could turn the game away as he could easily pick the crucial wickets at important times of the match. And it’s test match so if batsman get settled they would make big score and can turn the match around .
So? Are you forgetting that India has many more capable bowlers who will have a chance to prove themselves(Yadav, Ishant etc) now? I feel like Ishant could penetrate the batting lineup if he gets going. Jadeja, Ashwin and Kuldeep could destroy the batsmen with their spin variations while Shami will do what he does best. I don't think any SA batsman will thinking of settling down with such a competitive bowling lineup in my opinion. I know it will give a chance to other bowlers and they are good as well . But someone like Bumrah helps the team morale to lift up as even opposition fears him . Also his experience and skills are helpful at times of crucial situations . Hopefully others bowlers will deliver and help the team to lift the series . |

Now again with Bumrah out, the batsmen don't look as competitive as they were against WI and here they are struggling in their own land against SA. Doesn't look like the same team to me but since Shami is still in the team, hopes are still there that they'll manage to win. Hope Rohit can recover his form by 2nd and Bumrah recovers soon. Rains have lessened now so less chances of matches getting washed away.

Always I used state India is completely depending upon Kohli. Last match he performed and India won the match. This time the starting missed, and the middle order too didn't performed well. This is not the first time, and this too is a result of over confidence from the Indian cricket team.
India as a unit is a balanced side but the problem I find is that middle order their is no fixed order and still not able to figure out the right combination as top order is sorted but majorly in middle overs when middle order bats they need to fire and ensure they keep the score at the good rate and keep wickets intact . With Dhoni absence it might take some time now to get that position filled . |

Dhoni is retired(Test), Dinesh kartik's Test career is finished. @deadley already mentioned what actually happened with Wriddhiman Saha.
Honestly, Saha is easily one of the worst batsmen I have ever observed while Karthik seems to be out of form these days just like Pant. I would give them both equal opportunities in the short-term though none of them could probably never come close to how good Dhoni was. Haha, if we compare Saha with current pool of Wicket Keepers in the world cricket then he's not that bad. in fact after fair comparison he might look decent WK batsman for no 7 or no 8 and there is no chance of Dinesh Kartik making comeback in Test Cricket. Saha is a good keeper and can bat as well . Though he needs to be played more in order to get his self confidence as more coming out of team demotivates people . For one day and T20 Karthik is the best and for test math we would want now who stays permanent as Dhoni is now might not play much cricket. |

England is in control of the Test match for the first time in this ashes and if they are able to built a good second innings score they could level the Ashes. Smith is continuing his form if not they would have lost the Ashes. Australia need some major changes as none of the players are consistent and hence they are changing the team members with every match. England has good players but they are yet to prove their worth in the longer format of the game.
I wouldn't say that they are in control. If they had a lead in excess of 100 runs in the first innings, then I would have agreed with you. But their lead of 69 runs is not something that is very unsurmountable. Even in this test, none of their batsmen (perhaps apart from Ben Stokes) looked capable of confronting the Australian bowlers without any fear. Australia continues to depend too much on Steve Smith and this may prove to be their undoing. The only other batsman who gave him some sort of support was Marnus Labuschagne (even he was unable to score a half century). All of them failed against the pace of Jofra Archer in a pitch that gave no extra assistance to the fast bowlers. Considering the England who has had good first innings but could not capitalize it so actually it is true that match may just not be 100% in control of the England. Though they have a bright chance to win it if they play really well as currently they lead by 78 and have 10 wickets . Anything above 325 to chase would be a challenging total. |

Both the match today was fantastic and a nail biting. Very few days where both matches are worth watching. In Bengal vs Mumbai, Bengal won the match by 29 - 26 and in another match between Haryana vs Pink Panthers match was tied by 32 -32 . Really worth the day with this both matches played.

One good edition could be regular use of Pink ball cricket - Day Night Test match, so that regular peeps can visit stadium after work for at least 2-3 hours. it can surely help with revenue and attracting more crowd in the ground.
Day- night test match could be one if the option which could be explored as I think we had one such match of not mistaken . This will right have more people as after work right said some of them can come just to have couple of hours as a rest time . |

BTW I love that ICC is kinda giving a weight to Test format now.  Test Championship is a plan from couple of years ago, it's because test format is in threat. People don't watch, enjoy it much because of t20 most probably. You can see the affect too. Some players already have gone retired from test even they have the age. Test championship is for motivating players and bringing back excitement into test.

South Africa's performance in world cup was worst, from that point I guess I'm safe to say India will certainly win both series. However, it depends on how SA will perform. It's not obvious that they will be dummy as they were in WC.
South Africa has got the good team with experienced players, but they are unlucky to win big tournaments. When we go through the individual performance of the players they have a good record, but as a team they always fail. One thing, most of the matches lost will be on the close border. 3 Match T-20 Series- Sep 15 : Ist T-20 in Dharamsala ( I must add beautiful stadium, Location is epic! )
Weather as well  In Dharamsala, it rains most of the times. It must not be selected as venue during this time. In Dharamsala, the average rainfall is 2883mm. It will not be a surprise if it rains for a straight 7 days now. Yes, the stadium is located in a high rainfall region. Even if it rains, there is nothing to think about. It is good for the teams to play it as a two match series, because all of the sudden rainfall will be big. The climate change happens very instantly. That area is more prone to rainfall and this might be not a good thing to happen for the cricket. People are awaiting for the India vs SA eagerly and rain could just hit the match and also it is T20 so their would not be much scope also left even if it gets reduced in overs. |

In today match between UP vs Fortune giant , UP won the game by 33-26 . In another match which is ongoing but definitely not at all worth watching as Patna is leading the game by 47 - 21 against the Tamil . Tamil Thalavis would like to forget this match by their so far performance .
