281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if IOTA fud is true? on: November 29, 2017, 07:16:02 AM
What if IOTA fud is true? What if IOTA Dev is actually having a heroin addiction? What if all these fudsters are not just bashing IOTA to load cheap tokens but actually care about us professional investors and advice us to not become bagholders. What if monero fans are truly enlightened ones on this forum and Lisk is the new Bitcoin and it will still grow in value? What if banned ICOs like EOS are the future of what ever they claim to be? What do you think?

I don't care much about FUDs. They are actually nuisance in the world of crypto. It may cause a coin to experience some huge dumps but for as long as the technology is good there is really no other way but up. You may call a certain project many names, but the truth about the foundation of the technology will prevail. Adopters will definitely come supporting and promoting and using it because of what it truly is.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Power Ledger now backed by Australian federal government on: November 28, 2017, 03:20:40 AM
I rarely buy for FOMO, but I'm not going to lie. I heavily invested in this when the SMH posted the article. Luckily I got in at 6000sats  Roll Eyes Tongue
You're so lucky dude, but i've participated in the ico and i still hold my power ledger token. The ico price was 0.08 and this time the price over $0.8 this is very good return for me. As the AU already announced that the power ledger to be the first crypto project backed by the government and this will become so big.

This was probably the reason why Power Ledger shoots very high in the past few days. Being backed by the Australian Government is a pretty good assurance that the coin is legitimate and will move forward. Unlike other coins that will probably die because of the absence of very little backers, Power Ledger is not going to end up that way. There is already a strong foundation with such solid backing.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA is the next big thing on: November 28, 2017, 02:34:15 AM
I am normally checking coinmarketcap.com for the top coins. IOTA has been on the top but oftentimes lower than the top 10 list. But lately, IOTA has finally landed on the top 10. This is a very big step for IOTA. Right now, IOTA has reached the eighth rank with a market cap of more than 3.2 billion in US dollars. The price per IOTA has already reached $1.16 dollars. There will be more to come for this coin.
284  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will crash to 7-8K ? on: November 26, 2017, 11:37:27 PM
Will BTC crash to 7-8k$ after it gets to 10k?
it increased 1k$ the last 24 hour , which is amazing but scary too.

Do you guys think it will still increase with a dump?

I think the pattern is that every time Bitcoin reaches a very great milestone in its valuation, there will follow a little correction after. But there is nothing to worry about it, it is like Bitcoin is giving a chance to some people to finally join the family by giving them a cheaper price. Right after the little correction Bitcoin will once again pump hard and reach another ATH.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO Breaks NEW HIGH on: November 26, 2017, 10:47:59 PM
NEO is back at $30 plus as of the moment. A couple of weeks ago I think, it even reached almost $50. This is probably the correction, what we are seeing right now in the movements of NEO. But it is already gaining back its lost value. This is probably going to rise some more and hit $40 within a week or even less. By the end of the year NEO will again present us another ATH.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ethereum pumping on: November 26, 2017, 12:09:55 AM
according to the news ethereum hit $483 hit the price in history
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/ethereum-price-moves-closer-500-new-time-highs-achieved/
what do you think guys ethereum price continue to pump in the marketcap until end of the year how much the price reach.

The All Time High has been pushed higher and higher every now and the for Ethereum. I am very positive that $500 per Ethereum is going to be reached within this year. In fact, that is the minimum. There will be some further surges of the value of Ethereum as we are still in the last few days of November. There is still a whole month left before 2017 will finally come to an end. Ethereum might even reach $650.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: November 25, 2017, 02:15:25 AM
Let us wait for deeponion to get the total of 40 airdrops done. Perhaps by that time we will know the real fate of this project. This project really started off with a lot of heavy baggage of scam accusations. There must have been something in this coin that attract a lot of accusations. But I guess we just have to wait for all the coins allotted for the airdrops to be drained up to the last piece. We will see a serious dumping by that time.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you find interesting ICO ? on: November 23, 2017, 11:30:27 PM
Where do you find interesting ICO or crypto projects to invest ? Here on bitcointalk announcements or on other websites related to new ICO  announcements !

I maximize the entire Google Chrome browser when I am looking for a good ICO to invest in. I cannot rely on a single website. Neither is this forum enough basis for me to finally decide whether to proceed in my ICO investment or not. I usually read ICO websites as well as crypto publications and news and look for ICOs that are consistently mentioned. I also consider how they doing in terms of promoting their ICO in the world. The good thing here in this forum is that you can directly inquire from their team.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: November 23, 2017, 10:52:59 PM
To a great extent, yes, because airdrops are given freely. Which means you are not investing anything at all, so why would it not be profitable? But if we talk of whether the profit is worth it as compared to your effort and time, that is something we have to agree with, because almost all the airdrop coins right now are not nothing but useless ones. They may be free and we are happy about it, but at the end of the day, they are worth a dime or even nothing.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum on the rise!!! on: November 22, 2017, 10:59:21 PM
Ethereum is the second top coin after Bitcoin. It is not Bitcoin Cash.  Wink Ethereum, finally, has successfully shaken itself away from $300 and so far the path is consistently going upward. I think this is the moment we have all been waiting for. Ethereum will finally break a new ATH. The previous ATH has been reached months ago. This is ripe time enough that Ethereum will also rally, just like what Bitcoin did.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Get out of ethereum while you still can! on: November 22, 2017, 01:04:28 AM
I guess for now we are seeing an alive and kicking Ethereum. We will wait and see whether the news, bad and good, about Ethereum will pull it down or push it up. So far, Ethereum is still very much thriving although not growing as fast as other altcoins or even Bitcoin. Ethereum has not yet broken its previous ATH. This is a waiting game. But because of so many ICOs on Ethereum, I think it will hardly fall hard.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lisk or Waves? on: November 21, 2017, 11:44:37 PM
What do you guys think will bring more value in long term with 700 dollar to invest?

I would go for Waves. But that's in terms of which one would give you much profit earlier. However, I would suggest that you also invest in Lisk. We predict and speculate but in the end we are not actually sure that our predictions and speculations will come into reality. And we all know that Lisk is also a good project. Both are actually worth investing. For me, it is really wise to divide your investment.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETC to $21?! on: November 21, 2017, 02:21:14 AM
Will ETC hit $21 soon? Who knows  : Roll Eyes

This is very probable. I like Ethereum Classic. This is one very dependable coin that is least hyped and exaggerated. I think Ethereum Classic at $21 is still very low considering that Ethereum Classic is one of those undervalued coins. Perhaps it is due to the fact that its fork which is Ethereum has gone so high very quickly and made Ethereum Classic the poor twin and less likely alternative. But I guess the following year is very great for ETC. And we will wrap up 2017 with ETC reaching $25.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH running again ? on: November 21, 2017, 01:37:09 AM
The previous All Time High of Ethereum is still not yet reached. If I am not mistaken, the All Time High of Ethereum was reached last June 2017. The price was $406. From that moment onwards, Ethereum has not yet even touched the $400 mark. But with the growth increase for the last 2 to 3 days, I think we will finally see Ethereum break the previous All Time High and even surpass $410 or $450. Might get to $500 within 2017.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will altcoins boom again? on: November 20, 2017, 12:51:53 AM
Is now the time to go all in on altcoins?

I am feeling sad again when I last looked at my altcoins in my Blockfolio account. My goodness! Everything's crying with blood all over my portfolio. Well, except Bitcoin. Because it is Bitcoin that is the number one culprit for all these, its $8,000 plus breaking once again. The feeling is actually both happy and sad but sad primarily because my portfolio is largely made up of altcoins. I wonder when altcoins will really boom again.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Privacy getting important: Verge or Spectrecoin or DeepOnion?? on: November 19, 2017, 11:59:29 PM
I feel that in the coming years privacy coins will become more important. One of the features of cryptocurrency should be anonymous money transfers, at least this feature should lure many customers.
Look at the Muslim world and its completely private Hawala money transfer system.
1.3 billion people use the Hawala system.
So I am down to three privacy coins to eventually invest into on of those:

Verge, Deeponion and Spectre.

Could you give me an educated opinion which of the three has the best chances to rise, maybe not to the moon but tenfold would be nice. That is of course if customers should decide to make privacy an important feature when buying a coin.

None among the three mentioned. In terms of privacy and anonymity, nothing can beat Monero for me. Not especially the ones that are very new and are still on the process of fully developing their coins and projects in general. Verge is great. But still below Monero. Spectre and Deeponion are both very new in the field and have really yet to prove that theirs is the best choice for an anonymous transaction. Monero is still the leader for now.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy again? on: November 18, 2017, 11:13:38 PM
Just retain the most famous mantra in the crypto world in your head and you will know what to do. Buy low sell high. That is the number one rule here. That is the rule that will create money for us. How to effectively do it? If you are seeing that the altcoins are painted red all over, that means the altcoins' prices are offered with so much discount and that it is wise to strike while the iron is hot. Buy while it is still red. The green will be shown soon.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy ETC and thank me later on: November 17, 2017, 11:05:55 PM
Please, which coin is ETC and how can I acquire it?
ETC or Ethereum classic was created when ETH forked to undo a major hack. The real only difference is that ETH will become POS at some point while ETC will remain POW. You can acquire it via exchange just like any other coin or you could try mining it.

--
wowowow its all making sense now. and when will be the right time to sell this ETC?
Whenever it is worth more it BTC that you originally bought it. I have a feeling that ETC will pump a bit an all that will be is a chance for people to sell off their inventory.

ETC doesn't provide a technology for smart contracts and projects like ethereum does, but in the market, ETC is still valuable. I really regret for not buying ETC for $2 each in the early 2017.

It's gonna grow hardly in the future.

A little correction and for the information of everybody, Ethereum Classic is actually offering smart contracts, the same with Ethereum. The language being used for Ethereum Classic's smart contracts is called Solidity. Ethereum Classic is basically the similar with Ethereum in so many ways. ETC is also offering decentralized applications like Ethereum. I think this coin is really undervalued and underrated. I hope it flies high really soon.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Successor to Ethereum? on: November 16, 2017, 11:35:50 PM
Saw this article on steemit: https://steemit.com/cybermiles/@supersheriffen/revolutionising-e-commerce-is-cybermiles-the-successor-to-ethereum

"The success of any project can be measured in its ability to solve problems; CyberMiles is doing that with a range of innovative ideas for the e-commerce landscape.

They empower developers to reshape billion-dollar industries across the world.
They empower smaller businesses to thrive where they otherwise risk being forced out by giants like Amazon.
They empower communities by giving more incentive to participate in all the proceedings of a c2c(consumer to consumer) marketplace, which normally would be controlled by a few people in a centralized manner.
It’s democracy at its best, and a new revolution in decentralization."

Thoughts?

Start with small accomplishments. That way you are proving something that you are indeed a worthy project worth trusting and investing. But when you immediately aim to replace something already deeply-established and worth more than a couple of Billions in Dollars, you are not proving anything. What you are doing is simply wishful thinking. Let us see how your promoted project fare in the real world.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash Drops From $2800 to $1300 on: November 16, 2017, 10:49:21 PM
And now, presenting to you, Bitcoin Cash, artificially pumped and all. And Bitcoin Cash's price went to the high heavens because of that pump. But then because it was artificial, it cannot be possibly sustained for even a short time. And when the true case appears, it falls hard. And would you be surprised if I tell you that Bitcoin Cash today is even going less than $1,000?
