81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BXUNTY] DATABLOCKCHAIN.IO OFFICIAL BOUNTY CAMPAIGN THREAD! on: July 16, 2018, 10:46:12 AM
Hi Campaign Manager.

I noticed that there is someone else using my name in the signature campaign. Please kick him out and ban his ETH address. You might have missed this cheater because he was given stakes for a couple of weeks straight. Make sure this cheating will not thrive in an honest campaign like this one.

The real Invester is number 187 of the spreadsheet with this ETH address 0x28Af32ebD7635Dc6c79DC562E064A43ecCf75936.

The bogus one is number 283 using this address 0x5901f29ae2ed0a626Bd2177F23B6B0cA940f0E2f

There might be some other cheaters in this campaign. Kick and ban all of them to keep this forum clean, safe, and fair!

Thank you.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to have bitcoin shortage? on: July 16, 2018, 10:05:02 AM
It will not come to that point. There will never be a Bitcoin shortage. The value of Bitcoin could adjust up to whatever point it needs just to satisfy the demand and the necessary valuation when the entire world will be using Bitcoin. If the demand is rising so high due to the billions of people across the world using Bitcoin, the market will be assigning a bigger value to every Satoshi. There are eight decimal points in every BTC. It may happen that .00000005 BTC will be valued 1 USD.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Is Banning Ads for Bitcoin and ICOs on: July 15, 2018, 02:05:31 AM

https://www.coindesk.com/facebook-banning-advertisements-bitcoin-icos/

"Social media giant Facebook has unveiled a new policy that bans advertisements involving bitcoin and initial coin offerings, among others..."

Well , Mark the founder of facebook is just being a **** because his rival twin something is almost richer than him at one point . Im not quite sure . There has been a circulating news about it . And with facebook banning crypto ads , it hurt the market . And now they reverse their decision . I guess facebook is gonna do something with crypto . Maybe make their own coin ? Who knows  Huh Anyway , whatever Facebook do i dont care as long as its going to give positive outcome to the crypto market im fine with it .

I have read a few times somewhere that Facebook has already made some changes as regards to this earlier decision of theirs. Actually, even when this news circulated around, I was still able to see ICO and crypto-related posts, even promotional or marketing ones. There were even ads. But for now, this has already changed. Facebook is allegedly saying they are withdrawing such policy.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is market on the BOTTOM NOW? on: July 13, 2018, 07:20:58 AM
Please tell me, its getting on my nerves already. I lost 40% lately on stupid moves and i need to recover. Is it safe to invest back in alts now. What can we expect in next 1-2 months. Anybody has a glass ball? I see green candles today. Can it be next bull trap or the market is recovering now?

First and foremost, don't get my couple of cents as an expert's take. Secondly, never let your emotions run your decisions. It will be a tragic end to your portfolio if your emotions prevail. Avoid it.

The market has been unreliable these past few days. Green candles do not mean recovery. They simply signify growth. Up to what point, we are not sure. What I am a bit positive about is that the prices will not go down deeper anymore. There will be decreases in prices but not that big anymore, after all the red candles that we've seen in the last several months. So, I think it is safe to get back to alts right now. There might be a longer waiting though for your gains.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: July 13, 2018, 06:44:53 AM
What altcoins are you guys picking up for cheap in this dip?

There are so many good altcoins that are going down very low these past several months due to the market that is terribly experiencing a bearish season. But If I were to spend my money in buying my favorite altcoins, I would surely go to the tested ones such as Ethereum, Cardano, Monero, Waves, Stratis, Siacoin, BAT, ZCoin, and several others. The profit is going to be made in months with these coins.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Future in Crypto on: July 12, 2018, 04:33:34 AM
Yes it is good if you don't have a job before joining crypto world but I will like to seek ideas from those that have reasonable jobs and I really want to know if you truly believe in Crypto so as to give away your job and fully dedicate full time to crypto or its not worth leaving everything because I see it as a long journey which I need to learn everyday.

I think I am pretty consistent with my views regarding this issue. There is always something good you can get from a permanent job, a stable one, which you cannot have with crypto. Whatever gains you get from crypto, it cannot equal the security and stability that your job salary could give. The crypto market is unpredictable. Your investment here could lose half of its value overnight. You cannot support your family's needs with a very unstable income from crypto.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does bitcoin need to improve? on: July 11, 2018, 08:37:48 AM
I can clearly see that there are other cryptocurrencies that are beginning to dethrone bitcoin, showing off there quick and secured transactions, though bitcoin continues to be the king. What does bitcoin need to improve state your opinions.

Well, as you mentioned it, Bitcoin has to level up its quick and secured form of services. I have not heard of large time hacking incidents involving Bitcoin but as the hackers are always looking for ways to succeed, Bitcoin should be able to anticipate them and be one step ahead all of the time. As to its quickness, there are more than a handful of coins that can beat Bitcoin. This is something that Bitcoin should take seriously and urgently before it's too late.
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is a bitcoin REALLY worth? on: July 10, 2018, 06:54:51 AM
It is only worth as much as our support and belief in it. If you are looking for an intrinsic value in it, you will find nothing most probably. There is the technology, nevertheless. However, the technology will also be in the same page with the coin. The technology is also worth as much as the adoption and support it gets from the people. Without all these, Bitcoin and its technology are nothing.
89  Other / Archival / Re: What you will do with your altcoins? on: July 09, 2018, 04:58:50 AM
During last time do a lot of bounties and get some different price. its near 17 numbers and all price according to the market no more then 350 USD for all... What you should recommend to do with this coins?

Try to assess the future of your altcoins. Read their updates. Do they release development milestones regularly? Do they have solid partners already or are they still hardly looking for one? Take a look at their roadmaps as well and check whether they are still right on track and operating accordingly or they are already too far behind. Look at their products and their respective reviews. If they fail on all these then you better sell them.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to find good cryptos? on: July 08, 2018, 04:25:42 AM
Hi,

there are so many cryptos and I find it hard to identify the ones where I should have a closer look.
Obviously one can find cryptos e.g. by listening to shilling on Reddit. But I'm looking for more professional sources like YouTube channels, free/ paid Telegram/Discord groups and so on. What do you use?

Those paid memberships of exclusive groups are definitely more reliable than those that you can freely read and browse over the internet. Expect the most of what you can freely access in the internet to be lopsided. The premium groups are made of experts. The ones on free groups are made up of just anyone who wants to promote the coin they are holding.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The primary idea of bitcoin on: July 05, 2018, 03:01:38 AM
Hello,

I would like to discuss about the primary idea of bitcoin of Mr. Nakamoto. Was he a/is he a person who wanted to make world better place, to take from rich and give to poor, to create new elite? What I am linking to is that at the moment large mining farms, bitcoin visioneers who started in early 2010-2013 now have most of bitcoins and sad (my oppinion) truth is that they will keep growing than most of society stays in poverty.

I think it is socially incorrect situation as it is because I think primary and main idea of bitcoins was to make world a better place to live, to shorten gap between rich and poor, educated and non educated people...

And finally happened what happened, rich got only very small percentage, while others live as they lived before...

What is your oppinion? What was real primary idea of bitcoin? Are we on a right way as Nakamoto visioned?

I think I need to go back to the whitepaper of Bitcoin. But I do not think that it is the primary goal of Satoshi Nakamoto to address poverty or social inequality or imbalance. What I know is that Satoshi is really concerned about our current payment system that always has to pass through the banks. A peer-to-peer digital cash is what Satoshi envisioned to have. He never even envisioned a Bitcoin that will only be worth as an investment. He made a currency, a digital money that is a world freer than our fiat currency.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This can be addictive!! on: July 05, 2018, 02:23:54 AM
I'm a newbie and have been into crypto for a couple of months now.  I must say the advice from other members about not checking trades too often is very good.  One can become obsessed with it, and I think the thrill of the "win" can be quite addictive.  Similarly that depressed feeling when the world is "red" can be deflating as well.  There must be a "happy" medium, if one is to maintain a balanced life.

Exactly, there is such a thing as addiction in crypto. In fact, I also started with an uncontrolled urge to constantly check the prices of my coins and the value of my portfolio. That is like every couple of minutes. Ironic and funny as it may seem, the thing that will somehow keep me away from the prices is a red market. Since I want to avoid frustration and bad vibes, I do not check my portfolio if I know that the market is bloody red.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New alt coin says it can beat Bitcoin. on: July 04, 2018, 12:24:45 PM
It is not just the first time that an altcoin is poised to beat Bitcoin. Well, I think 90% of those coins have already said their final goodbye to the crypto life. Well, let them prove it because that claim, even if seemingly too unbelievable to wish, is actually interesting. I hope they will be able to put up a good competition because so far the top 10 in the ranks are almost always the same coins.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin in developing countries on: July 04, 2018, 11:40:03 AM
You will not hear a lot of positive news about Bitcoin over the media, both print and broadcast. We all know that these industries are more or less in the hands of the powerful elite in the governments or from the banking sector. Perhaps the only media where you can hear unbiased assessments and reviews of the viability of bitcoin and its future is the social media. Well, in terms of economy, Bitcoin will hardly intrude the movements of the entire national economy.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become centralized sometime in the future? on: July 03, 2018, 05:10:00 AM
Even until now, there is already a sense of centralization in Bitcoin. We know of how the Bitcoin whales can make a big difference in its price. We know that there is a central or core team behind Bitcoin. We also know that there are large Bitcoin mining whales that are also playing a very vital role in the decisions of the Bitcoin core team. So more or less, there is a sense of centralization.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is making admirable progress! on: July 02, 2018, 09:33:45 AM
The progress of Bitcoin is crystal clear. That is why I cannot understand why there are still people who are very blind in appreciating it. It is not just the price. Well, the price is the clearest indicator that there is really a huge progress happening to Bitcoin. But aside from the price, we can see that businesses all over the world are already opening their payment doors to Bitcoin. Bitcoin ATMs are also rising in number all over the globe.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: July 02, 2018, 08:52:28 AM
Tell that to the people who have become millionaires because of their belief in Bitcoin and its future. Tell that to the people who have already achieved their dreams in life because they risked more than enough in Bitcoin. Tell that to the ones who have sacrificed a good amount of their savings and eventually made a wealth out of their Bitcoin profit. And to be honest, those who did not invest were the ones who are foolish.
98  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to take profit in Trading on: June 30, 2018, 08:03:42 AM
Cryptocurrency Trading is fun and captivating especially when you are always up with profit no matter the situation of the market, of course who wouldn't be happy when you are successful in what you do?
In many situations we are confronted with the choices of should I exit the market now or should I stay, and swiftly as this may be decision need to be made fast to be able to keep up with a moving trade. For day traders avoid exiting the market when the chart is already down especially if you are not at profit, it is better to take profit when you are comfortably at profit even though the market is still green and wait for a next dip than waiting till market has gone against you and you are struggling with cutting off more loss.

It would either be you want to get satisfied with the gain that you have made and get out safe or take the risk and wait for some more green to have a bigger profit. More often than not, traders have a certain selling price. If not a certain price range, they set a certain percentage. After all, they base most of their trades to chart analyses. Those who are basing on fundamentals such as news and developments will have a wider limit.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it on: June 28, 2018, 04:43:52 AM

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking  it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

For e.g

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut  instincts was for it.

Did not want to loose the only ether as i lost my Previous eth in Confido scam. Please advise.

Ethereum is best for long term investment. The price of Ethereum I notice is only moving a little up and down but when its bull season comes, it goes on a very strong price surge that it will almost immediately gets doubled overnight. Other altcoins are also growing but Ethereum is growing more if you look at their price growth in a longer time duration. I prefer to HODL Ethereum.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is here to stay or ethereum overtakes in the market? on: June 23, 2018, 10:50:24 AM
This is a question that has been repeatedly cropping up. My answer to this has not changed at all. Bitcoin is here to stay as the number one cryptocurrency. Ethereum will be the second one but its not going to be a close competition. Of course, the value of Bitcoin as compared to the rest of the altcoins seems decreasing. It is because the world of cryptocurrency is growing exponentially everyday with altcoins releasing every now and then. And the market right now is very bad. Every coin is decreasing in the value. Let's wait for the recovery period and see what happens.
