341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: October 23, 2017, 11:44:00 PM
The good way to do it is to hodl it. Investing in ICOs is a good one and is still a promising form of investment. But as I have said in the beginning, you have to hodl your tokens for a while so that they will gain value as the project you are participating is gradually fulfilling their roadmap. The bonuses offered in ICOs are big so there is a big profit once the price of the token rises. But choosing the right ICOs is an altogether different battle.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of altcoins? on: October 23, 2017, 09:20:05 AM
Hi,

I'm just new to this forum.
What do you think of the future of all Altcoins?

I think only the good coins will survive..

That is right. Altcoins are now very big in numbers. I think we already surpassed a thousand altcoins all in all. I guess more than half of these are already dead and a significant part of the rest are also dying. The altcoin world is now very disorderly. And now that anyone can create a token, it becomes even a lot easier for anyone to create their own tokens. That means more shitcoins to come and die.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Going to buy 6 coins, want advice on: October 23, 2017, 08:36:39 AM
Hey, I want to buy six coins. GNT, BAT, CVC, SYS, STORJ and WINGS. I have few questions. Im going to buy them all through coinbase/bittrex but my question is where should I store them? Also would anyone advice me to NOT buy any of the coins? Thanks

These are good choices. I hope you are basing on some qualifications before you finally chose them. There are also some other good coins but your choices are also good for me. Hold them in a long term basis so that you will be assured of profit. There are fluctuations along the way, sometimes very serious ones. You can store those that are ERC20 coins that do not have their own hard wallet to myetherwallet. It is best there because you are the one holding the private key. But if you are planning to trade them, better keep them in Bittrex.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: October 22, 2017, 09:22:41 AM
Hello, Friends...

I Recently listen about the ICO (Initial Coin Offerings)! But I'm confused, Is it a Right Investment or Not?

Anyone Suggests me!

It is a right investment if you are wise enough to pierce through the outside appearances and marketing strategies of the so many ICOs being offered right now. But if you just join without any careful due diligence made, the risk of being scammed is very high. But I tell you, even if you will be earning a good deal of bonuses during ICOs, you have to be very picky to be safe.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero, Dash and all anon coins fucked? on: October 22, 2017, 08:42:16 AM
Why fucked? That was a hasty generalization that is purely based on fears that have no basis whatsoever. This can be placed in the category of FUDs. Monero and Dash are still leading in the world of anonymous coins, as well as ZEC. These 3 coins are the top when it comes to hiding your identity. Deeponion is introducing itself to be like them but I have doubts.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50k$ in which coin would make you a millionaire in 1-2 years? on: October 21, 2017, 10:00:58 AM
Try to consider Dent Coin. The ICO of this project ended sometime in July or August. It was a huge success. It is all about the mobile data business. I am promoting this project because although it has gone down a little in value as of now, it is still a project on the making. The team is very hardworking even reaching as far as Sri Lanka for the project to take place finally.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin do you Trust the MOST? on: October 20, 2017, 01:03:03 AM
Definitely BTC, but if I can't pick BTC I'd pick NEO. Even though NEO won't have the highest returns compared to some random altcoin it's the most promising and safest altcoin next to Ethereum

Safest? Well, your ranking is not even valid in the first place. Ethereum is safest? And then followed by NEO? A big mistake my friend. If you care to trace safety-related issues in the past, Ethereum has experienced so many hacks that would amount to more than a hundred million dollars in total wasted. NEO is substandard as it is with china.  Grin
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple XRP is a complete fraud GET OUT! on: October 19, 2017, 10:25:57 AM
Ripple is not a complete fraud. That is something the majority here will most probably agree with. The project is still functioning. However, the price of XRP is not really climbing well. That is primarily the reason why some supporters of Ripple have probably pulled out their XRPs. I have also been incurring losses as well but I am still behind this coin.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming ICOs on: October 19, 2017, 08:01:23 AM
Monetha was really a brilliant project since from the start. It was innovative. No wonder it ended up successfully. Incoming ICOs that I believe will also end up successfully include GUTS because it is selling tickets already. Valus is another humble yet promising project. It is already ongoing. Another one that attracted me is Artoken. I will be investing a little to these projects.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best coin for 2018 that is very cheap now? on: October 18, 2017, 09:12:28 AM
Buy some SIA (<100 sats) + DOT (<95 sats) and wait what will happen in 2018.

Greetz!°

I was also going to suggest Siacoin (SC), it is very very cheap right now and I and many others believe it is a sleeping giant, I would not be surprised to see at least 5x returns in the coming months.

Vote for SiaCoin, best investment is next month, I think SiaCoin still correction, hopefully 50 - 60 Sats for the best entry point.
Waves, ETH, LTC, XRP, and NEM, planning to buy those coins. And one more coin is AVT, I will watch this coin, looks promising for next year investment.

Looks like we have the same set of altcoins for investment. SiaCoin is a wise investment for 2018. Very cheap right now but is backed up by solid supporters. AVT is a good investment but you have to buy it as soon as possible since more announcements are coming for sure. The project is still starting and they have a lot of money to start with because of their very successful ICO.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you sell you coins? on: October 18, 2017, 08:18:10 AM
I know this often depens on the coin you hold but how long do you try to hold a coin on average?

I chose hodling forever. But you are right, it generally depends on the specific coin. Holding forever is my way when it comes to the very new coins that are also very cheap. I believe this is a good strategy because they are still very determined to make happen whatever they indicate in their roadmaps. I also sell though especially when I have a target price for selling.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: October 17, 2017, 07:54:44 AM
There are some points that you raise that hit the bull's eye. However, the point is that in terms of ICO, Ethereum is unparalleled. Nobody can beat them, at least for now. And because of these projects with ICOs, Ethereum is also marketed along. This is actually a way for Ethereum to become even bigger. It has reached a very wide audience because of this.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Funfair and Edgeless? on: October 17, 2017, 07:00:25 AM
I looked through a thread from a poster who mentions these 2 coins are in his top 10 coins under $1

This is what he posted and i will copy and paste his post

1. FUNFair - great team, great product, great communication.  Too many coins, but a burn is coming.  They are on schedule and have a better product then competitors.

3. Edgeless - they guys are the leader in online casinos.  Limited coins, 1st mover, and on point.  They will be opening their own casino in 2 Q 2018.  Only issue is, the graphic kinda suck.  BUT thats an easy fix.

He also posted 8 other coins as well but these stood out to me.  Does anyone have opinion of these 2 coins?  I took a look and these do seem like coins that could possibly go very high etc.

However the issue is many people mention the market cap is more important than the price.  So does that mean at the moment now when funfair is 3 cents and edgeless is 70 cents, then it is not likely for it to go up to say 3 dollars or 10 dollars etc?

I am not sure if these two coins can make it to my top 10 list of coins. Nevertheless, I can easily agree when we talk of trusted coins and projects that these two can easily make it to the top. FUNFair is indeed one of the most established in online casinos. Edgeless will make you remember their ICO which was paying so huge to bounty hunters. EDG also made some amazing climbing on the trading charts.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: October 16, 2017, 03:37:52 AM
The entire market is in the red. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?

Why do you think that everyone is losing money? Are you sure about it? I guess the altoins are turning red because many people are jumping into bitcoin because of the aggressive surge of value of bitcoin. They have made money I guess with this strategy rather than when they stayed with their altcoins. But for sure they would again buy back their altcoins with a lot cheaper price.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO without Slack? on: October 16, 2017, 02:21:45 AM
My phone is lighting up with slack notifications from scammers. Seems like every ICO is unable to close the vulnerability.

What are your thoughts on running an ICO and simply skipping slack as a social channel? Do people even care about slack when there's bitcointalk, telegram, discord, etc.?

They are now shifting to telegram. Slack is now full of scams looking for those innocent members. There are so many accounts in slack made specifically to victimize people. These phishing accounts are very wise in catching clueless slack members who can easily let go of their private keys after some fake introductions.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between ICO and Token sale? on: October 15, 2017, 01:05:31 AM
Hey Guys,

What is the difference between ICO and Token sale? not sure I totally understand it.
Just invested at www.payperex.com . there it is Token sale.

I really appreciate your help!

Essentially, these are the same bananas. They are referring to the sale of tokens that have just came out in the market. They can also be called crowdsale. Initial Coin Offering or ICO is simply the most used term but it can also be called Initial Token Sale or Offering. Do not be misled by how these are called. These are trivial details, simply incidental. Focus on checking the entire project when investing instead.
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold my Bitcoin today on: October 15, 2017, 12:22:20 AM
I sold my bitcoin today. I think the price jumped too much too fast. My opinion is that it will drop below 5,000 soon and in that case I will buy back again because i expect bitcoin to increase significantly in the long term.
What do you think??

You are wrong. My way of looking at it is that it has already successfully broke the very hard resistance which was $5,000. But since it has gotten away from the chains of $5,000, and gone past that, it will be growing even more. We are now approaching $6,000. It might even be reached within the month. This is a good sign that each bitcoin will become a 5-dollar figure soon.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to dump ETH? on: October 14, 2017, 01:59:45 PM
I guess you have already done your dumping. The best dumping time happened a few days ago when bitcoin had just started taking the wings and flew high. Bitcoin's demand rose to an all time high that it easily broke the $5,000 resistance. Dumping of altcoins is making their prices very cheap right now. That includes ETH.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum to go up or down? on: October 14, 2017, 12:52:23 PM
There will be ups and downs along the line but the overall path is going up. I am very certain about it. If those that are not as widely used as Ethereum are going up, how much more to Ethereum? Ethereum is the number one coin that is being used in ICOs. And we all know that ICOs are happening all the time, even getting bigger.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Please recommend me 1 best Altcoin to buy on: October 13, 2017, 01:20:23 AM
Please recommend me your 1 best altcoin to buy. I have been researching so much for the next coin to buy but i am overwhelmed by all the choices. Dont recommend Eth, Ltc, Waves and Neo please. I own them already.

Why don't you try to choose between LISK, DENT, and BAT. These are all great coins that are definitely worth your investment. But the decision will be yours to make so try to do some background checking about the coins that I mentioned. They have good projects and teams but do your own analysis also.
