421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ethereum could break $1000 as well? on: September 09, 2017, 10:35:40 AM
What's your opinion, will Ethereum reach $1000 some day?

If your someday has no particular limit or time frame, then yes, it will reach the $1000 value. But if you say that ETH will reach $1000 within 2017, that is something I seriously doubt. But I hope there will be a round of bullish run for altcoins before December so that we will end this year with a beautiful chart.  Wink

http://boxmining.com/china-ico-ban-temporary-will-introduce-licensing-soon/

China ICO ban is temporary, will introduce licensing soon hints Chinese Official

NEO TO THE MOON!

As I was thinking, it must be temporary. The chinese citizens are in favor of ICOs and the entire cryptocurrencies. I was earlier thinking that a new regulation will quickly follow the temporary ban on ICOs. That is the best move to insulate the country from ICOs that are scams. Not only NEO will come back, the entire cryptocurrencies as well.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: China ICO banned >>> ETH and tokens raise? on: September 09, 2017, 03:46:23 AM
ICO is banned in China, does this mean that Chinese money will go to Ethereum tokens (Golem,  Lisk, TIME...)?

It means we are all going to suffer due to chinese people panic-selling almost all the crypto they have. Look at the trading platforms and you will see how this chinese people are dragging the rest of the alts and bitcoin down. The government is not only after ICOs, they are also after exchanges. This will get the stability soon though after the market adjusts.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO in September on: September 09, 2017, 03:14:38 AM
Guys, I suggest in this thread to share thoughts on the ICO in September. I'll start first.

1. Powerledger

Presale for a fixed price ended successfully, the sale will begin, there is a real opportunity to buy tokens cheaper, because the price is not fixed. The project itself is also interesting.

2. Spheris Cool project, decentralized application store

3. Aventus Can be interesting , ticket sales, good project

I was with Aventus signature campaign before my current one. That was a very quick sale, in a matter of 10 minutes I guess for the public ICO. The whitepaper list which was exclusive almost sold out the AVT tokens offered. Eventchain is almost the same with aventus with another target audience. Might also be a sold out. Get Protocol might also follow the same path.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the 3 thing you look for in an ICO? on: September 09, 2017, 03:00:09 AM
As the question reads.  For me:

-  The concept/vision - is it innovative?  does it solve a real world problem?  is the problem it solves something I am interested in?
-  The team - Size and experience.
-  How the coin relates to the concept.  Is the coin a key part of the platform?  Are other payment methods available to users, etc.

Thanks for this list, mate! This is a very good checklist that everyone should learn to check before joining or investing any ICO. Innovation is one key. Otherwise, if you end up investing in an ICO which is mostly similar to a project that had just finished their own ICO, there is a probability that it won't sell as quick. The reason is that it might be construed as a simple copy.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: many ICO altcoin , What can be trusted? on: September 09, 2017, 02:34:56 AM
Now a lot of ico altcoin project , do projects that can be trusted . This makes i doubt to participate campaign bounty .
Please tell me friend , how saw projects altcoin can be trusted ?

Indeed, there are just so many altcoin projects right now offering ICOs. Many of these might just be scams. The others may not be but they might just end up a legit project that lacks the passion to move forward after ICO. So, what to do? Try to analyze their vision and objectives. Go to their website and whitepaper and understand the main points. Do some background checking as well with the team members.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: September 08, 2017, 10:33:23 AM
What is the waves future?
please share your opinion

The future of Waves is nothing but great. This is one of the coins that is supported by many investors. Waves smart contracts are also getting stronger everyday. This is a good indication that waves is going to make its value more than double before this year ends. Waves Dex is also doing good.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty][SALE SEPT 6]: Aventus -blockchain ticketing solution Bounty Campaign v2 on: September 08, 2017, 10:20:47 AM
It's safe to remove signature, I've calculated all signature stakes and finalazed the signature spreadsheet. I expect bounty payout on 20-21th of Septemeber!

I will try to finish other spreadsheets soon!

That was very fast to finish the signature campaign spreadsheet, CM! Thanks for this opportunity! I will remove signature now.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SALE SEPT 6] 🚀🚀 AVENTUS 🚀🚀- ANTI FRAUD ANTI TOUTS EVENT TICKETING on: September 06, 2017, 12:05:04 PM
Last 3 minutes to public sale  Smiley

To the entire Aventus Team, break a leg! The ICO is almost starting. I know the bottle of champagne is ready for the swift end of one of the greatest ICOs. Everyone is waiting for this ICO to be sold out in several or even few hours. Many investors have been waiting for this ICO to finally take place. And now that it is here, it is finally worth the wait.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to start trading alt coins? Beginner Tips! on: September 06, 2017, 09:33:41 AM
Some beginner tips:

1. Regularly read Bitcointalk forum
2. Check coinmarketcap.com for current real coin values
3. Check coinmarketcap.com history of coin you are interested in
4. Check the ANN thread of the coin on Bitcointalk
5. Many coins have their own blogs/ forums you need to follow to be up to date
6. At start choose coins that are already established and stable
7. Make yourself a portfolio of 3 - 5 coins for start
8. Do not jump in ongoing coin pumps, you never know when it will dump.
9. Make yourself a strategy for coins you will long term invest and maybe 2 gamble coins that are more risky but offer higher profit.
10. I recommend starting with Bittrex
11. Do not instantly sell your coins if they dumb instantly for no obvious reason ( research why)
12. At the beginning its better to aim for small profits like 5% - 10% +
13. Always keep some BTC to react when needed (buy)
14. Start slowly, take your time. 2 month in research and observation is recommended.
15. Always reinvest a share of your profit in your favorite coins and use a share of profit to gamble
16. Do not jump instant in new coins with big investment. If it looks promising to you start low and follow the progress.
17. If you advance and make good experience you could start to invest in icos, but watch out lots of scam around.

Good luck!

Would appreciate to add more tips to the list to give some valued info to beginners!

Great job, bro, for making this very useful tips list for beginners. Newbies will find this a guiding list for them to start their journey in cryptocurrencies. If I may add though, I would say: never be emotional in your trading. Be objective. Another one, do not be afraid nor disappointed when your coin is going down, it will bounce back definitely.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: September 06, 2017, 06:20:23 AM
My dream is to collect all the proceeds from bitcoin and I will sell it when the price is high and I want to buy a luxury house and collect a number of antique cars, hopefully my dream soon be achieved.

That is a great dream you have there, mate! As for me, I just want to create a little wealth with my bitcoin to be able to afford a moderate house, a good car, and a free time to do what I really want in life. That would be a happy life! And if bitcoin as well as the rest of the cryptocurrencies will fly so quick, then this dream will also be reached quick.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burger King in cryptocurrency on: September 06, 2017, 03:27:11 AM
Oh man! this whoppercoin is for keeps. I have 5 whoppercoins in my wallet bought by my waves. Honestly, I do not care about its potential but all I care about is the free burgers.  Roll Eyes
Lol I may get some whoppercoin just for the lolz, my friends know that I’m into bitcoin wait until I tell them that I have a coin specialized to order burgers in Russia, they are going to have a big laugh with it, and then I am thinking about telling them how much I have won on the last months so I make them cry for not investing in bitcoin.

The sad thing is that even if I will be credited with some whoppercoin in my waveswallet.io account and want for some free burgers, I am sure the Burger King branches here in my city are not accepting this whoppercoin for sure.  Grin If bitcoin is not even accepted by leading hotels and restaurants because BTC is almost unknown to the majority, how much more to whoppercoin.  Sad
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SALE SEPT 6] 🚀🚀 AVENTUS 🚀🚀- ANTI FRAUD ANTI TOUTS EVENT TICKETING on: September 06, 2017, 03:03:24 AM
The trust that people are putting on this project is pretty awesome! From the whitelist alone, the cap is almost already reached. There will be a little time left for this ICO for sure. Considering that the public ICO will just start today, this will become of the most successful ICO ever.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CHINA!!! on: September 06, 2017, 02:16:19 AM
How the fate of cryptocurrency in your opinion after china forbids cryptocurrency?

Will this be the end of cryptocurrency

Ugh! What is this? You are simply making a mountain out of a mole hill. There will be no end to cryptocurrencies. Even shitcoins are doing some movements. So china banning ICOs will have no bearing to the entire future of cryptocurrencies. And I guess there is just some ironing out of regulations and policies. This will not stop once and for all every single ICO on the future.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: And now Vietnam to legalize Bitcoin on: September 06, 2017, 01:58:22 AM
Earlier vietnam was very skeptical about bitcoin just like China and Russia. But now,it has changed its stand and has decided to legalize bitcoin. It is said that new regulations would be implemented by the year end.

         www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-08-26/vietnam-plans-legalize-bitcoin-2018

This is a great news. At least to make some balance with the bad news for the last few days that seem to spread quickly about china banning ICOs. I hope this news will give a little boost for BTC as well as altcoins for their price is pump even just a little. The red marks are really irritating to the eyes.  Wink
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins you are going to buy? on: September 05, 2017, 03:07:48 AM
Hey everyone,

So with the current drop what is everyone planning on buying while they are low?

Or do most plan on not buying and just watch?

its the basic of trading crypto, buy low sell high.
when price is low its the opportunity to buy and stock some bitcoin and altcoins.
and wait for the pump.
i want to buy some doge, bcn, burst

What is your thoughts behind buying doge?

Ah Doge! There are billions of Doge out there circulating and being traded and used as tips and other similar transactions. You can actually trade DogeCoin but buy when it is very low and then buy in huge amounts. Be very extra careful about doing this Doge trading. When it goes high, sell immediately. And then you may proceed to buy once again if the price dips again. The value of this coin is going to be very hard to triple or quadruple.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy - question is which coins? on: September 05, 2017, 02:51:22 AM
Hi everyone,

I invested yesterday after the correction but I feel I should add additional capital to Altcoins. What would you recommend?

Thank you  Grin Grin Smiley

Everything is selling with discount right now, very cheap. Grab as much as you can especially from coins that are on top of the line. Try some Strat, Ripple, ETC, and ETH. Well, you can actually buy any for now. With their very low price, there is a certain profit at the end of this red tunnel.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for September on: September 05, 2017, 02:25:57 AM
The post right above this thread is asking the same question, about the best ICO for this month. I think this is a duplicate topic already. But since people here as well as in the other thread are posting their two cents already, I might as well do mine. Aventus is gonna be one big ICO happening this month. Easymine is doing pretty fine as of the moment.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is the term "altcoin" becoming obsolete? on: September 04, 2017, 07:22:41 AM
maybe this was appropriate when there was bitcoin and a few alts but at this point it seems like a silly distinction to make that is not helpful to the industry as a whole.

having one forum just for bitcoin and then another forum for all other coins is ridiculous

There is some sense to what you are saying because we are referring to so many coins when we talk of altcoins. But that is the truth actually and better to be clear with that. Bitcoin is the only thing here and the rest are considered followers. Blockchain is the invention of Satoshi who is also the inventor of Bitcoin. The rest that used blockchain are only followers.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to invest $50,000USD in a coin. Needs to trade anonymously on: September 04, 2017, 07:07:06 AM
When the FBI (and Interpol) busted DarkNet, they confiscated lots of Bitcoin...the one they cannot trace???

Monero (XMR).

That is correct. When it comes to anonymity, Monero can offer you full time anonymity, at least for now. Bitcoin cannot beat Monero in that respect. Zcash is also an option if your choice of coin is really one that will keep your transactions anonymous.
