61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision time on: August 25, 2022, 03:12:40 PM
This guy must be looking for something big. Doge or Fantom as your only choices? Doge is nothing but a hype coin already and yet it is still performing very well during bullish periods. Many comments here are advising Bitcoin and I agree with them. But I will divide. Maybe 50% into Bitcoin then 25% for both Doge and Fantom. However the present market is not yet bullish but you can always buy Bitcoin anytime. I would better buy Fantom and Doge a year before the next Bitcoin halving. Other than that, I will trade them actively.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Extremely low bounty rewards on: May 06, 2020, 09:52:56 AM
Most importantly the tasks required from bounty hunters are next to nothing except perhaps those who are joining bounty campaigns by creating videos or writing articles.

Another important thing that bounty participants should do is to make sure they are joining a legit project or else they will just waste all their efforts.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decent signature campaigns? on: February 21, 2020, 12:57:36 PM
If you are looking for a decent signature campaign that pays in altcoins and not promoting an ICO, I would say you will find none. Well, for a long time, there was really none. If you include IEO though, you might have one or two. But during these times, I don't think there is still one worth joining and exerting much effort.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Crypto Bull Run is Here! on: January 28, 2020, 12:54:24 PM
Today Bitcoin price growth is incredible! It seems the bull run already started from the first month of 2020! Bitcoin price is 9K USD again, Chinese Lunar year is not affecting the crypto market anymore. The way Bitcoin price growing, it can hit 10K USD even before February! I strongly believe this is the Bull run and Bitcoin price will go to 15K USD before the halving! What is your opinion guys, share here!

It seems the bulls are indeed here. And they are very aggressive bulls, breaking fences of resistance. $10,000 USD within January is a hard thing to happen though but still possible. $15,000 before halving is very possible.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Most Valuable Blockchain Companies. China and USA Leads on: November 29, 2019, 12:10:27 PM
Unicorns, companies that have crossed the $1 billion valuation mark, are a rare breed. Even more so in crypto. Here’s a list of the 10 most valuable blockchain companies.

http://tinyurl.com/ukcyrdf

That's a lot of money there guys. Fear not cryptocurrency is going no where. See how much these companies are worth. Huge

The list does not even include the top cryptocurrency projects. I can only see Ripple on that list. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, EOS, and the rest are all crossing the $1 billion valuation mark.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening with ETHEREUM Now? on: November 13, 2019, 12:35:31 PM
not only ethereum guys. all altcoins can't go higher prices. XRP, STR, WAVES, LTC, etc. all stuck, even Bitcoin can't exceed $11,000. so I think it's natural, on the other hand, ethereum also doesn't have great news at this time. there will only be an upgrade next time. I think ethereum will move in early 2020. along with Bitcoin and other altcoins. so don't panic or get confused. keep relaxed and hold. Ethereum will not disappoint.

I myself have distanced a little from the prices. I avoided monitoring them because it looks like I will be waiting for a long time before the Ethereum and my altcoins will have another bull run. Bitcoin is even stuck lower than $10,000.

68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Libra the future anyone wants? on: July 16, 2019, 12:41:48 PM
It is not Libra upon which my hopes are founded. Bitcoin is. The future of currency is created by Bitcoin. And that is the future that I want.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Cafe on: July 14, 2019, 09:53:55 AM
very interesting, it is a good way to socialize BTC and other crypto to the public.  it would be even more interesting if the cafe was always watched about the concept of the Blockchain and some crypto currencies.  I think this method is very efficient and we have to follow this Bitcoin cafe.  and hope many people understand Bitcoin.

Right, it is a good place to hang out with fellow BTC and cryptovurrency users outside but it would have been better if that cafe will really accept bitcoins or cryptocurrency as payments. I think this is a good way to promote cryptocurrency and I think a lot will be inspired in using bitcoins.

Probably, when the country will finally realize the convenience and usefulness of Bitcoin, this cafe will be the first one to accept Bitcoin as payment. More Bitcoin supporters will flock to this cafe. This cafe will become an icon.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] TEND - Tokenisation of luxury assets - LESS THAN 14 HOURS LEFT on: March 07, 2019, 06:52:01 AM
Is this project still alive? The last comment was made almost a year ago.

I used to think that this Swiss-born project is going to rise high. They're quite unique! I don't know if there are other crypto projects focusing on tokenizing luxury assets. Dragon, if I'm not mistaken, touched on such grounds.

I hope this project will get a little more aggressive.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holding BTC at this satge is a bad idea? on: December 12, 2018, 07:17:14 AM
BTC is showing weakness and loosing ground day by day I think it is the time for the investors to book profit who are on profit and minimize losses who already suffered a big loss. Can anybody enlighten me on this issue now?

Holding BTC at this stage is almost required from all of us true BTC believers. Selling will hurt BTC more. And most of all, selling will only mean loss to a lot of us. The price at this moment is like a throwback to so many months ago. We need to hodl still and wait for the price to get back to its old position.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favorite Bounty Managers on: October 30, 2018, 09:54:49 AM
Bounty manager is very important when choosing a campaign. I
like to work with AmaZiks, Hotachi, Hua_hui.
What is your favorite BM?

People here should try to go beyond who's handling the campaigns. It does not really say much about the legitimacy of the project. It is far better to dig deeper and get the real color of the project.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BXUNTY] DATABLOCKCHAIN.IO OFFICIAL BOUNTY CAMPAIGN THREAD! on: October 03, 2018, 07:45:45 AM
Scammers are everywhere. This is not the only bounty that is full of cheaters. We cannot just put the blame on the team for such proliferation. However, it is their duty to handle it with utmost diligence and accuracy for the sake of fairness. I think the team is capable enough.

Will wait for the V2 spreadsheet. Good luck to Datablockchain!
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BXUNTY] DATABLOCKCHAIN.IO OFFICIAL BOUNTY CAMPAIGN THREAD! on: August 25, 2018, 07:09:51 AM

ATTENTION:
THE DATABLOCKCHAIN MASTER SPREADSHEET IS NOW LIVE!
**Please note that we are still accruing stakes for the Telegram campaign.**
Signature campaign spreadsheet is looking good. All profile duplicates have been removed. Good work!

yes for now everything looks great now it is left to wait when the coanda will distribute everything for the work that promised. if everyone does it right then it will be fine. then it turns out that this is one of the most organized companies that came out recently.

Not the most organized but seems worth a thumb up. For now, the waiting is still going on. We will see in the next days whether our waiting will end up worth it. The project still appears credible to me so far.
75  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: July 21, 2018, 01:33:01 PM
I think the reports will go to the proper authorities once there is an unusual transaction or a highly suspicion pattern that involves more than a moderate amount. Other than that the records are kept. But that is almost the same thing. The proper authorities can always request them anytime since they can always use their mandate as an excuse even if the purpose is no other than mere intrusion. I do not like this new update in the crypto space.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BXUNTY] DATABLOCKCHAIN.IO OFFICIAL BOUNTY CAMPAIGN THREAD! on: July 18, 2018, 11:24:03 AM
Hi Campaign Manager.

I noticed that there is someone else using my name in the signature campaign. Please kick him out and ban his ETH address. You might have missed this cheater because he was given stakes for a couple of weeks straight. Make sure this cheating will not thrive in an honest campaign like this one.

The real Invester is number 187 of the spreadsheet with this ETH address 0x28Af32ebD7635Dc6c79DC562E064A43ecCf75936.

The bogus one is number 283 281 using this address 0x5901f29ae2ed0a626Bd2177F23B6B0cA940f0E2f

There might be some other cheaters in this campaign. Kick and ban all of them to keep this forum clean, safe, and fair!

Thank you.

I am posting this once again because the cheater is still there and have just received his 3rd week's stake. This is totally unfair! By the way, he is already in the 281st line of the spreadsheet. Kick this lazy cheat!

If I may add, I hope he's not one of you!
77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle tough times in cryptocurrency? on: July 18, 2018, 10:49:51 AM
We are indeed the tough times of trading or investment in cryptocurrency. After the ATH of Bitcoin last year, we are now at the stalemate at 10K USD mark for almost 2 weeks and no sign of going up. I was thinking to hold for as long as I can since I believe in crypto.

If you’re at the losing position what is the best thing to do?

There are a handful of options, but the best option available is of course to keep hodling and wait for the prices to start bouncing back. There is no problem with the crypto market. The movements right now are not happening for the first time. All these have happened already several times in the past. The data shows that there will always be light in the end of the tunnel, at the end of the bearish months.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SCAM! on: July 18, 2018, 09:54:52 AM
I was invited by a friend of a friend to invest in Bitcoin last year. He told me that if I invest 5000 in our currency it will be doubled in a month's time. He also promised me that I will get referral fees and override from every person I introduced to Bitcoin and that prices of Bitcoin are expected to increase. To make the story short I did not join because I believe its a pyramiding scam. Truth to be told I did my research on Bitcoin after that and it turn's out that Bitcoin's price was really on rise unfortunately I did not invest at that time. Currently I'm learning more thru this forum and I thank my friend for inviting me here. Just last December I heard from one of my friends that the company they joined was in fact a pyramiding scam and the money they invested in just vanished out of thin air together with the people who invited them. We should be wary of people offering investments and opportunities to us. Do your research. Opportunity comes with risks as well as the rewards. If its too good to be true, it might be a scam. Bitcoin is not a SCAM but there are people who uses Bitcoin to SCAM other people. Good luck to us and more power to Bitcoin!

If this post is what you meant by your subject, then your subject is misleading. You know what, there are so many people in this forum that do not actually read posts. They react and post responses from the subject. Anyhow, what you are saying is true. Bitcoin is not a scam but it is perceived to be such because of the scams that douchebags are creating. The advice is to avoid any offer from people you do not even know.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hold Bitcoin for long time. on: July 17, 2018, 04:32:23 AM
Hold is Bitcoin for long time, there is no much profit. You know why ?

Because if you only hold Bitcoin your balance will grow up only on USD rate. For example you hold 1 BTC . Current price 7500$. It's might 10k after some day. But you still have only 1 BTC.

Now think you have 1 btc and you convert it into BCH. Example for 1 BTC you get 10 BCH. Rate per bch is 0.1 BTC .

After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.

But before buy alt coin please select best coin to avoid dump.

So what you think. Hold alt coin or Bitcoin ?

This has already been thought of earlier. This is the reason why even if I am an avid fan of Bitcoin and of hodling it, I always make sure that I am also hodling the top altcoins. This will be a strategy for your portfolio to remain good even if either altcoins or Bitcoin is going down. But if the entire market is in blood, you cannot do anything about it anymore. And then, I would also like to add that you make the basis of your portfolio's value in BTC and not in USD.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to pick best signature campaign on: July 17, 2018, 03:56:23 AM
What criteria do you guys use to pick your signature campaigns.  With some of them lasting 2-3 months it seems like a critical decision and I'm not quite sure how to go about it.  With all the scams out there I am fearful of picking a junker which not only hurts me but the people looking at my promotions.  I would like to have one picked out for when I switch over to Jr Member.

There are several indicators to be careful or even vigilant about when joining signature campaigns. Aside from considering the amount allocated for it, you will also take note of the number of posts that are required from you on a certain duration. But most of all, please take a look at the project itself. Scam projects are now very common. You need to make a little bit serious study of the project you wish to promote.
