261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: which one is best investment: bitcoin or bitcoin cash? on: December 26, 2017, 06:45:40 AM
Have to admit, BCH's marketing ability is really tough, and compared to bitcoin, BCH cheaper, in relative terms. So investing in BCH may yield more revenue.

The revenue a certain coin will give you is not always directly propotional to its current value. It actually does not have any connection at all. Otherwise, cheap coins will simply fly easily. It did not happen. And especially in the case of Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Cash, however cheap it may be considered to some, will not give you a larger revenue as compared to Bitcoin. Look back in the near past and you will realize that the value of Bitcoin when Bitcoin Cash was born was $4,000 to $5,000. That was already high but it even surged up to almost $20,000 in a few months. And Bitcoin Cash? Well, let's wait until it achieves what Bitcoin has already achieved.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: December 26, 2017, 02:49:56 AM
Bubble or not, I will definitely continue to hold my Ethereum. If it is a bubble then I am more than sure that this bubble is still very small enough to burst any moment now. It will continue to grow and get more expensive in the coming months. I have an inkling that all these crypto things have the possibility of bursting one day in the future. As to when exactly, I cannot tell. What I can tell is that it will not happen in the next five years. So I will just have to make the most of the time while all these are still giving me gains.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD on: December 26, 2017, 02:24:05 AM
Bitcoin is not yet dead. It remains alive and very much healthy. The problem is that there are people who are doing all they can to counter the growth of Bitcoin. The likes of Roger Ver and Jihan Wu cannot and do not want to play the game fair. They may be promoting an altcoin that offers better features but they are not satisfied with the proper promotion of such. They try to clog the blockchain as well as cause the value of Bitcoin to dump to make their coin looks better.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SAFEST ALTCOINS TO INVEST IN? on: December 26, 2017, 01:08:13 AM
i am not looking to make a huge profit, just modest gains and minimal chance of loss. Any altcoins?

This is a wise target and strategy. I think for this strategy, you better off settling with the most popular and trusted altcoins. They may move sidewards for some weeks without ever giving much quick profit but you are somehow guaranteed that in the long run these are the coins that would last and grow biggest among the so many altcoins right now. Waves, Ethereum, Ripple, Strat are definitely among these good altcoins.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 5 coins under 10$ that can reach 300$ in future on: December 25, 2017, 02:07:31 AM
Heey guys!
Listed 5 coins under 10$ that you belive that can achive 300$ in future:)

My bets are
Lisk
Stratis
Ardor
Ada
Wawes

What do you mean under $10? The list is erroneous. Waves is already more than $10. So is Strat and Lisk. These are already more than $10 in their prices. But one or two months ago, they are cheaper than $10. If you want really cheap coins, even under $5, then go for POWR, AVT, Siacoin, BAT, Dent, and IOTA. There is a very bright future to all these cheap coins. It is easy for these coins to multiply in value.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin? on: December 25, 2017, 01:28:16 AM
I am newbie on bitcoin, recently introduced with the community. I have seen a lot of positive feedback about bitcoin investment. I am not interested do business or trade on market. I want to used it for long term investment only. Some people suggested me anytime is good for invest on bitcoin but I want to do it wisely. If you have some idea of the market and analysis kindly do it for me.

Anytime is actually a good time to invest in Bitcoin. It will not be a problem as when specifically for as long as you are planning to hold for a long time. But if you really want to save some little amount of Bitcoin then you may wait for a low point of its value before buying. I think right now, the price of Bitcoin is already at $12,000 or a little more. This is too low already and you will be able to acquire a much bigger amount with your investment.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: December 24, 2017, 03:12:19 PM
In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.

I'm afraid it will not happen. I am also a strong supporter of Ethereum but I am a little more truthful about the real possibility of such a great altcoin. Bitcoin will stay as the primary coin in the whole of crypto world. By the time Ethereum will reach around $10,000, Bitcoin is already worth around $500,000. So there is no point competing against the king. It is more than enough that Ethereum comes second to Bitcoin.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google partnered with Peculium! on: December 24, 2017, 09:15:54 AM
I have read a news that google made a partnership with Peculium. It is still under their ICO stage but if the news is true, this will be a great project. Imagine they are still in their ICO stage and yet they already partnered with Google. Try to research on this and check if it is true.

Well, posts like these, which do not provide reliable links as to the sources of the news as well as even to the publications in which the said news are printed and published, are most often set aside as mere hyping which holds no water. There may be some truth in it but they have to understand that people need credible sources. It cannot simply be accepted as full truth when it is only spread through rumors.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: December 23, 2017, 07:35:37 AM
Hi,

I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit..
After 14 days the price is dropping..

They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them  Grin)
My answer.. Just wait!

- Developers can't work 24 hours a day
- don't check the twitter or ANN every hour  Wink
- a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient..
If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.

This is bull's eye. And this one goes most especially to all the bounty hunters out there who are always itching to sell all their tokens without even thinking of their possible growth in the future. Well, some are really needing money, but they have to be aware that there is a bigger amount waiting for them in the future if only they are patient enough. This is also true to all the holders out there who react too easily to price dump.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Private Coin? on: December 23, 2017, 06:14:13 AM
Hello everyone. Noob here.

I just want to know which is the best private coin and the differences between them?

Monero
Deeponion
Spectrecoin
Nav
Pivx

or any other worth knowing about.

Tnx.

As far as my understanding is concerned, it is Monero (XMR) that is the most anonymous coin of all. If you could remember, during the time of the Silk Road case, the Central Intelligence Unit (CIA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) went into it. And then several raids were done, not just in the United States but also in some other countries such as Australia. A large number of Bitcoins were confiscated because identities were traced. There was a big shift to Monero right after that.
271  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on with the price today? on: December 22, 2017, 03:09:23 AM
Things looked somewhat promising yesterday as it was holding steady in the mid-high 16k range, even breaching 17k. Now it's in the low 15k. What's going on? Are we still hodling? Newbie asking for a friend here.

This is my advice to a newbie like you. Newbies should learn to be steadfast and strong. If I may liken it to a battle or in life in general, you have to learn to stand your ground. Stay firm and believe. The reason why there are so much whining especially from newbies and new-comers not just about their Bitcoin investment but also in the altcoin world is that they easily panic. They easily get emotional especially when they see a dump, however temporary and normal it is.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a person died with BTC!! on: December 22, 2017, 12:56:29 AM
What will happen??

No one will have the BTC address. Hence will them isolated?

In FIAT, people can handover money to someone.. So, i predict BTC will be disappeared gradually.

If a person dies with Bitcoins and then he or she did not tell anyone about them, those Bitcoins will simply disappear just like that. And there are a lot of Bitcoins out there that ended up that way. Nobody knows they are saving some Bitcoins. Others may know but they do not know the details of where it is being saved and the details such as the address, private key, password, and so on. As compared to fiat, Bitcoins have the higher risk of being forgotten.
273  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: December 21, 2017, 08:31:43 AM
What do you think a about it? is it good or bad for bitcoin?

That is definitely good. I cannot see any reason why a rising community behind Bitcoin can be considered bad. Not unless the community you are referring to is composed of crooks, hackers, terrorists, and other lawless groups. I would even think that the community behind Bitcoin should get bigger and bigger and stronger and stronger because the rise of some altcoins based on creating a bad image of Bitcoin is being peddled right now. Bitcoin Cash is one.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Christmas And BTC? on: December 20, 2017, 07:01:12 AM
I was just wondering, to those experts on bitcoin, because I have seen that bitcoin suddenly lay low in going up, and now even plunges.  I needed your opinion.

Does Christmas or any holidays affects bitcoin?
Please elaborate. Thanks a lot

I can't speak on behalf of anyone in this forum since we are an international community here and each of us has a different set of national and even more local cultures and traditions. But as for me and my culture, during Christmas time to be exact, I think the Christmas season has an effect to Bitcoin. Christmas is a season of abundance. Huge bonuses here and 13th month pay, annual earnings, and all other benefits are usually given during this season. This is a season of much money. Therefore buying will surge to a very high level during this time. That could include Bitcoin-buying of course.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can the current growth be healthy? on: December 20, 2017, 05:37:08 AM
Do not get me wrong, of course this is a great time for crypto. But apparently every single coin except very few is rising by 2-digit percentages right now.

This growth of course cannot be maintained, but can this even be healthy for the market as a whole? This is currently pumping up way too hard. We went from below $500B to $650B total market cap over the course of a few days. On the one hand this makes me happy, but I have a lot of doubts for the near future.

Thats just my 2c

The values of every single cryptocurrency must be determined by the market. That is how it is in the cryptocurrency settings. That is if the coin is already opened to the market. The buying and selling and their respective prices are going to direct the movements of the coins. So for me, the rise in value, however rise and quick they are happening is healthy for as long as they are caused by the normal demand increase and not just some manipulated pump.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO][AIRDROP] Titanium - First Decentralised Cloud Services Provider🚀 on: December 20, 2017, 03:29:50 AM
Could any Titanium dev please explain this to me and to all those who might be confused of the same: "A security cap of 350,000 ETH will
be hardcoded into the contract, as a safety net against unforeseen complications."
I got this from your Whitepaper. I think this is the first time that I encountered such a condition.

Another concern would be the ICO schedule. Does the approximate 60 days you indicate in your Whitepaper include the Pre-sale which is happening in December? Or does the counting start on January 1? I was thinking 60 days of ICO is too long.

Thanks in advance for the response.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] |Titanium Blockchain Infrastructur Services (TBIS) | 5% BAR REWARD on: December 20, 2017, 03:17:11 AM
I will be joining your signature campaign! Will be filling out the form in a bit.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] GET-Protocol GUTS TICKETS, PRESALE WITH 2.3M EURO TELE., SIG, TWITTER on: December 09, 2017, 06:30:00 AM
All spreadsheets except Twitter and Media are finalized (except the burning ratio ICO decides).

Will they decrease rewards? Such a shame for Guts project.

They will decrease the whole supply (ie. burn them) proportionally so your stake on the circulating supply won't change anyway. Team tokens, advisor tokens and even my tokens will be burned.

It doesn't matter, if they decrease total coin amount people can't get same money as 0.50€ buyback guarantee. Simple math. Wink

That is right but it is out of my hands. After all, we promised 0.7% of whole supply. And that is what you'll get rewarded.

It is out of my hands as you might guess, thanks for your understanding. Wink

This is crystal clear: 0.7% of total supply. So it will also change once the total supply will also change. Waiting for the final update!
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to start investing with 1$? on: November 30, 2017, 02:09:06 AM
So here I am with about 1.5$ in my poloniex account today. What advice would you give me to make this 1.5$ into 150$ by the end of next year that is 2018?

Anyplace I could get to know about pump n dumps before they happen? Any particular cheap crypto that I should hold onto?

I will recommend that you will stop exerting much effort to your $1 right now. It is never worth it. Buy a top coin instead and stop your trading life there once and for all. I can see that you need to focus your efforts and talents on earning more dollars rather than earning more value from your $1. You will get nowhere with your current mentality. Do not  mind your $1, instead mind how to earn more of them. Try to increase your investment. That must be your concern for now and not where to invest your single dollar.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think LTC go up soon? on: November 30, 2017, 12:27:47 AM
What do you think about LTC? Its price go up soon?
Is this time to buy LTC?

It will continue to grow up up higher in the next several days and weeks and months. There is no danger that Litecoin will come falling down because I have not heard of any news, negative ones, implicating Litecoin. It has already successfully reached the three-figure in US dollars. That is enough sign that Litecoin is very much alive and strong. There will be some little corrections of course.
