2841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: June 28, 2022, 09:27:01 AM
A lot of rumors spreading in the boxing world that these two will fight this October. Hopefully it is true. Crawford should not tolerate Spence avoiding and prolonging this fight because he is already 35. His age is actually ripe and ready to be taken out anytime. Only casuals in boxing won't see how Spence team is trying to play the waiting game ever since. Crawford in October is like inactive for nearly a year and that's another disadvantage. Maybe he should threaten PBC that if the fight with Spence still won't happen this year then he signs with DAZN and activate his option as WBO mandatory on undisputed champion Jermell Charlo. That will force a possible purse bid that is so winnable by the richer DAZN.

And Canelo just said that Bud is the better fighter. But time is really not on Bud's side. Time flies so fast, Crawford is now joining these old but great fighters Usyk, Beterbiev and GGG.

and this makes them temporarily stop their casino operations because when I click on their casino website there is only this image appears

And maybe this is the end and they are not coming back. Did the casino ever attracted many players? I am following the project and this thread in months. I was only silent because I noticed the trading volume is still very low so I thought I need some time before I invest in their tokens. I think 50% profit sharing to its token holders is really good. But of course they really need an exchange with acceptable volume otherwise investors are at risk.
2843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: June 28, 2022, 07:44:42 AM
There's a lot of reasons as to why Binance keeps going and BNB remains as one of the top crypto currencies. BSC is working well and is cheap. And as long as Binance stays in business then BNB stays. And as long as Binance continues to become the biggest crypto currency exchange then BNB will remain healthy as well. The thing about Binance is their willingness to work in many countries and is willing to be regulated just like in my country.

Go kabayan!

2845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 27, 2022, 10:49:17 AM
True. This is an old GGG moving up in weight against a prime Canelo. We should not forget that Canelo lost in his last fight because he moved up in weight. He is still undefeated and undisputed in super middleweight. Did Canelo even suffered even a single knockdown in his career? I guess no. When's the last time Canelo got seriously wobbled? Probably against Jose Cotto when he was still a boy? I say there's a big chance Canelo is the one stopping GGG this time.

That would be a big win from him if he could really stop GGG.

Their last two fights are controversial because GGG still believes that the judging was unfair and he does not believe he lose in that fight. By saying stopping, are you referring to Canelo knocking out GGG? If that's what you meant, then we will surely have a very entertaining fight.

Yes. I pick Canelo to knockout this old version of GGG. But of course, I hope I am wrong. I am a huge GGG. Been a fan of him since he was chasing Felix Sturm's WBA belt. I always admire fighters that are championship level despite lesser fights like Lomachenko, Usyk, Inoue, etc.

Canelo is always favored by the judges ever since. He is probably the only ATG with too many questionable scores like Mayweather, Trout, Lara, GGG 2x, Bivol and many more. Even when he was clearly out pointed by Floyd Mayweather two to one, it was only a majority decision.

Last weekend, another mid to late 30s got knocked out. The ever durable Thai Srisaket Sor Rungvisai. He was the conqueror of then undefeated and then Ring Magazine pound for pound king Chocolatito Gonzales. He joined Donaire. Is GGG next?

In today's rumors, the Lakers apparently are trying to work a deal to trade Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook for Ben Simmons and Kyrie Irving.  I don't think the Nets would do this, but maybe...  Simmons and Kyrie are headaches while Anthony Davis is considered to be a top tier player with a lot of time left in his career.  With Russell's contract being a negative and Anthony Davis looking to end up in Chicago eventually, I think the Nets would be dumb to do this trade.  LeBron is a fan of Ben Simmons and has won a championship with Kyrie though, so it's a possibility...  With how wacky Simmons and Kyrie are, anything could happen.

It seems to me that this potential deal between the Lakers and Nets will remain just a rumor because Davis and Westbrook for Irving and Simmons look like an unequal trade, and it would be disadvantageous to the Lakers. In addition, there was a contrary rumor a few days ago that the Lakers have no plans to trade Anthony Davis at all.
I don't see why any team would want to keep Anthony Davis or acquire him. He is injured and sits out more then half of every season since entering the NBA. The Lakers are just bleeding money keeping his bum ass.

Don't forget that when the Lakers acquired Davis, they won the championship. Maybe he is a problem because he is very fragile but I think if the team just know how to manage him, they will be able to benefit in keeping him.

It is hard to imagine the Lakers letting go on AD in exchange for 2 divas Kyrie and Simmons. But maybe the Lakers are so desperate while Lebron still has it? If so, then they can get rid on injury prone AD and Westbrick. Kyrie-Lebron might work and if not they can trade Kyrie. Simmons is the problem. He ain't putting buckets while Kyrie and Bron gives him the openings. And it would be hard to trade Simmons knowing his attitude and his $40+ million salary up to 2025.
2847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: June 27, 2022, 07:08:48 AM
It is good to see that nearly all of us who voted here are just casual gamblers. Are you sure your gambling activities are not affecting your responsibilities in the family and at work?

Sometimes we gambled over our limitations and it's not really healthy. I felt stressed during those times especially when losing money that is already material to me even if it is my extra amount. Because gambling is just some kind of a recreation. It should be fun, entertaining and gives us some thrill and excitement. It somehow relaxes us from our daily routines which at times could be stressful and boring.
2848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH gas fees are low....A great time to get in? on: June 27, 2022, 06:45:04 AM
I am not going to present a technical analysis, because long term chart shows it is riding with king bitcoin's halving period where ath happens and drops steadily in the next couple of years. But just in case it won't be the same, then you can actually start buying. Huge financial firms usually invest by tranche.

My projection on eth is it may drop as low as $400 range. But I will start buying from $1,000, then $900, down to $400 if ever it happens.

Batch 2 hulanysis:

Tropang Giga -4.5
SMB Beermen -7.5

Mga kalaban nila separate owners na teams kaya bigay todo itong Topang Giga at Beermen. Lalo na itong Tropang Giga na may dalawang talo na. At kailangan nila bumawi at manalo dahil na din talo sister team nila kahapon.

Sayang na-upset pa kahapon ang Meralco. Langya tinambakan pa talaga. Yung Dyip as usual alaws talaga team na yan. Aahon lang yan pag mag-seryoso at wag na gawing farmville.

But the outcome of this fight will never justify the previous 2 fights. First fight was a clear GGG. Second fight was close and could go either way. And Canelo fought GGG when he was already 35 and 36. Hardcore fight fans should remember when Canelo surrendered his WBC middleweight belt because he don't want to fight GGG. Canelo was subjected to mockery at that time. Imagine surrendering your belt without a fight? That's not Mexican. That is why some Mexicans until now hated Canelo and are calling him a coward.

GGG was avoided during his prime years. Remember the first time he fought for the championship? He fought for the interim WBA champion belt first because then German superstar Felix Sturm avoided him at all cost.

There's a lot of rumors on Kevin Durant lately. I think the guy wants no part on Ben Simmons and Kyrie Irving. If Brooklyn Nets cannot satisfy his demands then he might be the one leaving. There's also rumors on a Boston Celtics trade for Jalen Brown, Marcus Smart and Grant Williams. Though this is a very big gamble if this really happens but who knows. Maybe Boston had seen enough on their Tatum-Brown build.
2854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you trust a gambler with your money/savings? on: June 25, 2022, 10:12:54 AM
I will answer this based on my experiences. But if the gambler is a stranger then literally it is already a big no. I will never ever trust them with my money.

When it comes to money. I used to judge my gambling friends thru their personal past and present appearances, attitudes and as much as possible their financial situations. Assessing their financial situations is the best but it is also the most difficult because it is something personal and we may not be able to delve deeper. I can remember a friend prosing to our circle of friends about a business and that he will be the one to manage. I rejected it right away knowing he was struggling financially with unpaid debts to some of our friends and he is also a regular gambler. I got a lot gambling friends and relatives that haven't paid me up to now although in small amounts.

The biggest unpaid amount from a regular gambler to me was $600. He used to gamble around $1000 to $4000 daily. I trusted that friend and let him borrowed $2,000 few years ago because he seemed doing well financially. In few years time he acquired 3 more cars, regularly vacationing abroad and somehow his wife's family business was expanding. I was too late to know that he was personally bleeding financially with divorced coming up and some unpaid debts to some of our common friends too.

Lesson I learned? The things we see is not really enough to assess someone's financial situation especially on a heavy gambler.

Rumors of Bradley Beal declining his $36.4 million Wizard's contract option. Money wise he should take the money but if he wants a real shot at the championships then he can reject it and look for better teams. But maybe another decent team will offer him a good amount of money for a longer.

I kind of feel that Miami Heat becomes aggressive this free agency. They need another reliable player to partner with Butler. This is super necessary while Butler is still playing at his peak. It made me curious if the Miami Heat is willing to let go on Tyler Herro is better offer is in the table.
2860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 22, 2022, 02:01:35 PM
I don't really have doubts that Bivol could beat up Canelo basing on stats and paper

Oh really? Did make a bet ? Because Bivol was a huge underdogs with +350 odd. A lot of people did not believe in Bivol and though that the fight will be similar to Canelo vs Kovalev. Also on the paper, Canelo was much better than Bivol. Bivol was not even rank1 in his weight class and Artur Beterbiev looked much more dangerous (some people say that that was one of reason Canelo has chosen Bivol instead of Beterbiev). If Canelo would work more to get a KO, and GGG on gaining points, then we would see another close to draw fight that Canelo would win again thanks to judges.

GGG on gaining points? That's not possible, because GGG is a KO artist and Canelo boxed better than GGG, so when if we talk about points, the advantage will be on GGG. Honestly, I love to see an all out war in this fight, both fighters should go for a KO as this could be their last fight against each other.

Lol! Right. Because people would really take a bet on huge underdogs if they have no doubt of an upset about to happen.

So do you guys think this fight goes the distance? Because I am still unconvinced that this old version of GGG will not survive a 12 round war with Canelo. Unless Canelo will box safely.

You guys mentioned GGG piling points over Canelo. I really agree to this. GGG although a KO artist is technical and is armed with a lethal jab.

This is interesting. I figured out that these eastern Europeans (heavy handed or light handed) are technically sound. GGG, Beterbiev and Kovalev are heavy handed, but their aggression are very well calculated. They're not like Iron Mike or those Mexican heavy brawlers. They utilized their footwork and set up power punches with their jabs. Their skills and power helped prolong their boxing careers at high level despite their age.

- Bivol was 6-0-6 before fighting for the interim WBA belt. Maybe he's got good power but prefers to box technically. So his knockouts diminished over time as he felt not obliged to go for it and at the same time his opponents are becoming more difficult at championship level. He did mentioned in an interview that he loves to fight smart.
- Usyk was 9-0-9 before he fought for the WBO belt. Just as everybody thought that he is a KO artist. He is naturally a gifted technician.
- GGG was 36 years old when he lost a controversial decision to Canelo.
- Kovalev was 36 when he lost to Canelo. At first, I really thought Kova was paid to lose as I can see a lot of moments where he should've unleashed his deadly hooks. He later revealed that he was not 100% during the fight. 2 months prior to the fight, Kova fought 11 tough grueling rounds against then undefeated KO artist Anthony Yarde. Kova said, he simply cannot refused Canelo's once in a lifetime multi-million offer. Normally after his fight with Yarde, Kovalev needs a month or 2 to heal his body and then another 2 to 3 months to train for Canelo. IMO, a prime Kovalev would easily jab Canelo to death.
