Definitely gets more speed, around 135MH/s on this 3090. But, poolside rejects go up to around 2.5-5%, vs ~128.5MH/s with 1% rejects at xintensity 32. If I understand flexpool properly, it only pays rejects up to 1%, so until I switch pools I gotta keep it below 1%. Pretty fond of flexpool though, it's usually one of the better earning pools. Need to run the math on the increased speed with rejects at a pool that pays for stales, but I assume the extra speed would come out on top.

I am using 11.4 and 472.12 is the latest nVidia driver release.

Running that command returns N/A, yes.

Perhaps there's another function you could be using to pull VRAM temps? Temperatures show up fine in T-Rex and HWInfo64.

Been away for a while, but just tested 1.07 with 472.12 and I'm still not getting memory temps on 3080/3090s.

Not to be a one upper...  Grin

1145/11051

They can hit 130MH/s.

One more thing I just noticed, under HASHRATE/W field, the unit is kH/s instead of kH/w.

Looking forward to trying this on more rigs with hiveos.

Working well. Miner reported hashrate = 401.6MH/s vs 396.4MH/s for trex.

Possibility of adding GPU hotspot and VRAM temps in a future release?

Congrats on the release. I don't see the ansicolor.reg file in either the 11.2 or 11.4 windows release, though?

Also:

Perhaps consider including the .dll? I know I personally can't be assed dll hunting in 2021.

Make me an offer on a cube.

Congrats on selling out! Looking forward to receiving my 4 units.

What's the advantage of the DDR4 version over the non DDR4?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is your favorite/greatest mining moment? on: April 11, 2018, 05:01:53 PM
Definitely the Zcash launch. Made 5 BTC in 2 hours of mining at launch with the ridiculous prices on exchanges. Good trimes!

Welcome to dealing with Shitmain.

Nice well made post, good initiative.  Cool

You might be interested in buildzoid's GPU breakdowns. He does nice VRM analysis for a lot of GPUs.

What in the fuck is this ridiculous thread.

Jesus christ.  Roll Eyes

They're going to be bloody expensive paperweights real fast.
I doubt even the FIRST adopters will manage to make back half their price.

Seems like Bitmain didn't think THIS move through at all.

Bitmain and baikal knows exactly what they're doing. They got the rug pulled out from under them with the algo change, making their ASICs worthless. All they can do besides recycling them for precious metals is dump them on unsuspecting, uninformed miners. This is 100% a malicious move on both their parts. If the algo switch hadn't been announced, these would still be humming away in their farms making them huge profits.

It's sad that they'll get away with selling some of these to people with more money than brains.
they think they are smart but in the long term this is a big miscalculation based on thier overwhelming greed.
they have basically exposed the fact to even the nonbelivers that they mine for months with thier asics before releasing them.  They have shown withoute a doubt that they are a bad actor in the mining space , heck I think this might eveb give sia and other devs the ammunition they needed to push thier forks though.

They're 100% dumb, but I doubt they miscalculated. They have been able to mine YUGE sums of money with these in the last months. They have for sure covered their R&D and production costs on these ASICs. Their cash cow is now dead, so they try pass these on to us.

ASIC companies are absolutely, 100% of the time bad actors. Does that mean you can't make money with some ASICs? No. But when they decide to sell ASICs to the public, they have calculated that they've been milked as much as possible and then throw us the scraps to make even more money off of our backs.

Fuck ASICs, and fuck bitmain in baikal in particular.
yeah I only have a few asics and after this im resolved to stop feeding the pig
Im out , idgaf how much they claim we can make Im onky buying gpus , every dev out there
needs to fork the fk out of thier coins to get them out of the business of dumping used gear on the masses

keep your useless toastes baikal and bitmain and fuck off

Same here. My Titan is on life support, after I pull it's plug I'll have rid myself of all my ASICs. Only decentralized GPU minable coins for this guy from here on out.

Hopefully Monero inspires other coin devs to shove a cylindrical cheese grater up bitmain & companies assholes.

Tougher than woodpecker lips.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer X3 -- 220KH+ Cryponight - 550W on: March 15, 2018, 09:30:25 AM
Will Electroneum also change their Algo? Seems like theres 6 coins that are currently more profitable to mine based on https://minecryptonight.net/

I have 2 purcahsed I can USD wire for tmmrw for but am hella nervous lol

Listen to me right now.. You're about to throw away a huge sum of money to feed Chinese scammers. DO NOT BUY THESE!!!!

No coin besides Monero could absorb the power of these ASICs. They're as good as dead if they don't switch. They just need Monero to do it first since most devs are too dumb.

You've been warned.

batch one is sold out! I sold 4x A3s for 6K when they first dropped and kept one and got my ROI, so idk might be a good investment to flip at least if not mine other coins then XMR?

*EDITmaybe just to flip lol

Who will you flip it to? Nobody will want a miner that can't mine.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite ASIC miner on: March 15, 2018, 09:28:48 AM
Monero POW is changing to CryptoNightV7 in about 15 days, so I don't think you can sell this as a monero miner..

Just saying  Roll Eyes
That's great news. If these ASICs are real and are being sold, then they've been used for mining for a long time now, and they're only selling them in order to dump them because they'll soon be scrap.  And if Monero changes, most/all of the other cryptonight coins will surely follow pretty quickly.  I'd like to hope for a revival in cpu/vega mining.

On the sad side, if these ASICS are real, and their specs are real, then it could be a trivial task for someone to make new ASICs for the new algo. Is it a trivial task?

Trivial or not, it won't make sense financially since Monero will be modifying the algorithm every 6 months. It's not feasible to make an ASIC for that.

AT LEAST every 6 months - they also stated they were willing to do "emergency forks" to kill ASIC mining.

Utterly fantastic. I need to buy more Monero. Fuck you bitmain & baikal.  Grin Kiss
