581  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can my account be used for bounties only? on: December 15, 2019, 05:25:44 AM
Actually, that was not a ban. Your IP got blacklisted and luckily for you, you could afford the evil fee. Some people's evil are always much.
Back to your question, YES, you can use your account for bounties alone as other members already said but why not contribute your knowledge to this forum also and not see this place as a ground for making monies. There's more to this forum than bounties and signature campaigns.
582  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] $500 Paypal [W] $450 Crypto (ETH, BTC, etc) on: December 13, 2019, 05:23:34 PM

If you'd like to, we can also trade very small amounts first (not going first)

Looking at your post history, most of your trade threads mostly don't have replies and I am sure you don't have any trade history here. You should go to Paxful and make rules there if you can't trade using escrow here.
583  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Lending Platform ? on: December 13, 2019, 04:31:22 PM
I see some members have suggested third party sites here. A word of caution because they need you to pass KYC which is a red flag, still whatever your take may be. Secondly putting your money into a "platform" does not necessarily mean that you are actually lending to someone legitimate in need of a loan. We have a number of fiat lending sites out in the internet doing the same but many eventually collapsed because they were hidden Ponzi/MLM schemes with fake loan originators and people invested in them. I am not saying all of them are bad but it is a point to ponder.

The safer (but still risky) thing to do is to set up your own lending marketplace. This could be a lending thread in this forum, check the other well known lenders here like @zazarb, @DireWolfM14, @shasan and you will get an idea.

But the biggest problem in running them is knowing how to lend. You will face manipulative people trying to squeeze money from you out of "friendship" gradually as you become popular. Always take a collateral secured loan to be safe if you wish to do this.

I don't know why you think an online lending platform won't request for identity verification. It's a normal process just for them to know who they are dealing with. But one disadvantage about these crypto lending platforms is that they require collateral x2 of the loan amount requested.
584  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [List] Gift cards providers on: December 13, 2019, 12:29:05 PM
I  can't vouch for bitrefill here because a friend of mine (from another country) purchased a voucher code for an online local shopping website and the voucher happened to be an invalid one. The support is yet to give him a feedback since then. It is better to purchase popular cards there instead of local ones.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: December 13, 2019, 10:49:35 AM

Discussion: How can they community rally together for what is to come? Are we ready for when governments restrict / sanction any capital flow into exchanges? How prepared are we for these things?

The government has always made threats about restrictions, bla bla bla. And here is just another hater just like those in the past

We should've worry much about the anti-bitcoins because people are starting to get more interested in bitcoin and crypto.
586  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: paxful scam alert on: December 12, 2019, 09:12:23 PM
Seems like it isn't pair to corner a party without any proof. I have looked for on scam accusation and also tried to googling  a credibility of paxful especially related to scam issue but there is no clear about it.

I found one thread that stated that paxful is scam but there is no proof, you can see on this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5062687.0

Just make it clear if you really have been scammed then show the proof so as the user of this forum will do something and even they will help you for at least to spreading this issue.
Possibility of accounts will get freeze or banned when they violate their ToS but people can't accept their fault and starts to blame the trading platforms.Anyone who wanted to use any service needs to learn their terms and privacy policies but we are just checking it without reading so these things will happen.
Most people are guilty about this, including me. But I always try to go through the ToS first before battling with customer support or creating a scam accusation about it.
Some even blame the entire Paxful for getting scammed during a trade. Some people need to grow up and start to admit their mistakes.
587  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to create my own wallet??? 5k$ Prize on: December 12, 2019, 08:31:44 PM
Thsi is just a pump and dump coin like most altcoins and you should have noticed this when it did 150x within a short period. There's no way a coin can be built on the BTC blockchain. You should forget about the virtual figures you see.
And one thing I'm sure of is that the exchange is also part of this, so, why not share more key details about what really happened because I'm sure there's more to this.
588  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: addresses explanation on: December 12, 2019, 07:37:19 PM
Hello,
I am begginer in crypto but I got one question.

When i was receiving btc from my friend wallet, he wrote me that his wallet is X. When btc landed on my wallet, I saw that it came from wallet Y.

I think what really happened here is that your friend uses an online wallet and an online wallet isn't controlled by user, it's controlled by the main server. The wallet addresses are only assigned to each user as a unique payment ID but funds are always sent from the hot wallet when you make an outgoing transaction.
You can always add a memo as label to know what each transaction you make is for.
589  Economy / Securities / Re: looking for an investor. final stage on: December 12, 2019, 07:12:14 PM
No one would want to go into investing with you since all your response seems defensive. I just observed that OP's is very much active on his telegram account ans has been offline for over two days on this forum.
It doesn't even look like he's serious about getting help here, he left already because people here are too smart for him.
590  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A Chilean exchange is giving away money for Xmas on: December 12, 2019, 05:25:38 PM
Well, a 270$ for a gift isn't bad but why is it for only few people? I'm not trying to sound ungrateful here. 100$ is a lot in some countries including mine but try show the love to more people, that would be more better in my opinion.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Safe or crazy? (sports tickets) on: December 12, 2019, 11:59:23 AM
It's a very bad decision to always think staking on high odds will give you a good return. It's just like dashing your money out to those betting sites. You shouldn't see gambling as a getting rich quick. Small odds like 1.5  give you 50% return on your stake. You can actually try live betting, you an analyse live games easily.
592  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2 Year Anniversary Hero on: December 11, 2019, 08:42:58 PM
Congrats dkbit98 on your achievement. I always love reading your posts even though I couldn't comment on them. You have always help this forum by busting scams and you're very good at it. I'm also happy that you have a pretty good trust score for your efforts.
593  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to post a new project? on: December 11, 2019, 08:00:49 PM
Thanks for the reply.

Offtopic question: I got the project at 80% of the MVP, would you recommend me to post it and get some feedback or wait till everything is up?

I would really appreciate to get some feedback from the community to decide whetever it's worth or not to keep working on the project since I'm alone and I have a full time job, since the project is a little bit risky and no idea if people will like it.
Don't be scared to sharer what your project is all about because all new projects nowadays are all risky. Yiu might see people that will be interested in working with you. You can seek for suggestions or advise in the project development section or create an  announcement in the Altcoin section with the word ANN includes in the topic to make it easier to see when it's been searched on Google.
594  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The reality of Merit on: December 11, 2019, 07:44:16 PM
One thing I noticed about this forum is that you get recognized well if your first posts are of great contribution on this forum. Try not to make most of your post base on bounties but try to rank up on time. You had a long break after your registration which isn't supposed to be like that.
595  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why Crypto Exchanges Should Lower Their Fees and Profit Margins on: December 11, 2019, 07:05:59 PM
It's better they slash their fees because it's ridiculous for big names in the crypto space to charge high fees while the small ones are trying to get to the top. They all had low only to get to the top just to increase their fees. Theee are better exchanges with lower fees with great UI if the big exchanges refuse to reduce their fees.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About a Btc site(Someone help me remember) on: December 11, 2019, 01:52:01 PM
(Can someone help me remember about a btc site)

It does not send a message to your e-mail when signing up.
And you invest 0.1 to 0.5 btc minimum.

Thanks in advance.
There are many BTC gambling site in this space and I'm not sure what you mean by investment. 0.1 BTC as a minimum is too much and maybe it was a typo on your side. And  secondly, I won't use such gambling site that doesn't send notification during sign ups, I'm sure there won't be notification when someone access your account.
597  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Fund-raiser for children from Orphanage Katowice - 2019! on: December 10, 2019, 06:01:04 AM
Looking through your tag now and I realized that the issue has been resolved but the tag still remain which is something that would help your cause should you reach out to the people who put the tag to get it removed. The reason is that not everybody will have the luxury of time to check the reason for the tag. They just make a conclusion.

Good cause you running here. There are several children across the globe that the wants to be happy even if its just for few hours and we can only contribute a quota for them to achieve that dream. Also since this is the 4th time, it would give more credence if you can show a pictorial evidence of what has been done for the past 3 phases.
I'm not sure if the issue has been resolved, maybe because I can't read their language or something but the tag was left their for a reason and was not removed.
598  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: paxful scam alert on: December 09, 2019, 10:21:26 PM
Well, you should expect that because it's there incase of money laundering. 0.4 BTC is a huge amount though and you shouldn't have deposited it st once. There's nothing you can do because they will tell it's part of the T&C uou sgreed to when signing. There's no choice here than to comply with their KYC so that you can get your funds out of there.
599  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoid Clipboard hacking on: December 09, 2019, 09:50:59 PM
Clipboard hacking is becoming an hacking trend now. Let's say we have two devices, a laptop and a mobile device, it will be easier/safer if we scan the wallet QR from our mobile device and do payment from there. I don't think there's a way an hacker can change QR codes if the characters of the wallet is properly double checked.
