542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Number, Who Own 1 bitcoin on: January 31, 2020, 01:10:05 PM
As of Jan. 14 we already have 784,000address that owns 1 bitcoin or more. The number is already had an 11% increase from 707,000 that is recorded a year ago. In 2015 has more than doubled. Most of the address came from exchanges and big player "whales" that usually hold a big amount of bitcoin.

For me, this is great news since bitcoin is influencing a lot of users, as the number increases meaning the community is already getting bigger surely when a lot of people invested in bitcoin it could easily increases the market price of the bitcoin because of the supply and demand thing.

In my experience, it is not easy to earn 1 bitcoin so I think most of them are investors.

What is your opinion about this? How does it affect bitcoin?

Yeah, good thing crypto is becoming popular but have we thought about it that what if some whales doesn't want to be tracked or look suspicious so that they can manipulate the market. It's very easy to set up a crypto wallet and most people always more than 1 wallet.

an increase in users means that the volume also rises, therefore many new users have a positive impact.
No. That's actually wrong because no volume can be made if they decide to hold and not trade. There's always a volume where there's a trade.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to secure your asset in forkdelta? on: January 31, 2020, 09:32:22 AM
Better still, for smartphone users, install firefox browser and download Metamask add-on for firefox and create new wallet. It's much more safer that way as you won't get your PK exposed.
Too much flaws on forkdelta and some other decentralized exchanges. They load slowly on some devices and UI is friendly.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Building More Value Into A Coin/Token on: January 31, 2020, 04:30:20 AM
ICO used to, but IEO most upcoming projects go for and it's more valuable especially if conducted on a big exchange.
Only few out of many projects that airdropped their token survived, but not performing up to expectations because most airdropper won't care to sell at any price which brings zero value to the project.
So it's better to focus mainly on conducting IEO and airdropping few out of the supply.
545  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: We are hiring on: January 30, 2020, 11:03:34 PM
Just a reminder. Dont deal out with those newbies posting above  Cool
Have you already posted on other platforms as well? Consider these things.

This isn't the matter of dealing with newbies or higher ranked members. Some maybe trying to build a good reputation, they deserve a chance here. There are also bad people on the platform above. It's the responsibility of the person hiring to do the selection.
We here are the one that needs to be careful of not working for free.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee called BITCOIN as a Shitcoin! on: January 30, 2020, 08:47:01 PM
This guy is seeking so much attention and we keep giving it to him. John McAfee is two sided and we won't know which side he's on. Today may be his day to support ABC coin and when tomorrow comes, you see him supporting another coin.
This guy has made so many people lose money through hype & manipulation. He isn't the one that's gonna decide BTC movement, we are the market force that's going to drive price either sideways.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On most altcoins disappearing on: January 30, 2020, 08:04:33 PM
I agree with your points. Altcoins and some ponzi schemes that rised during 2017 which turned out to be scam put this mentality in some people that Bitcoin is a scam. This has been spread among ignorant people that didn't do proper research about crypto before joining in.

First thing is not to be a spammer. Yes. All or most of your topics should not be based on promotions. You can contribute to the forum by sharing your knowledge i.e making posts like tutorials, contributing to topics, exposing scams, merit abuse
551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make 3 USD a day? Tips wanted. on: January 29, 2020, 05:12:51 PM
This days, it's very difficult to get any airdrop task that would pay you daily. Even the hottest airdrop right now which is kucoin airdrop is very difficult to participate in due to many numbers of cheaters.
Bounties are fine to join but you can't get daily freebies from crypto.

Posting and spending time on crypto forums or normal forum is more interesting, educative and there's more interaction to me than on social media. Social media is over hyped and full of garbages.

I haven't seen anyone banned on this forum for using VPN to browse it. I've also been using it. The only problem you may encounter is during registration and the IP ha s already been blacklisted
557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best wallet on: December 20, 2019, 05:53:29 PM
For Stellar wallet, I would recommend LOBSTR Wallet. It's a very easy to setup wallet and with a good UI. You get 1.5 XLM upon creating your wallet and you can pay back I think within 30 days.
558  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: after 3 confirmations, the bitcoin is 100% mine? on: December 20, 2019, 05:46:02 PM
Sure, why not. 3 confirmations a very and there's only a slim chance for it to get reverse if only there's a huge hashpower to do that.
Most site always say 1 confirmation or 2 confirmations.
559  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: There is a chance of getting merit for Newbie's only [3 sMerit Available] on: December 20, 2019, 05:34:15 PM
It's really good to see you to have ranked up so quickly within the last couple of days which brings to conclusion that other newbies can also do better if they put in more effort.
