601  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful with the links you click on your email on: December 09, 2019, 02:55:09 PM
Most airdrops are no longer sincere but rather want to collect data from participants hoping for victims. Best thing is to create a separate email account for joining airdrops or bounties. And before you click or fill any link sent to you in your email, always confirm from the project official telegram groups to know if it's from them to avoid being phised

603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for increasing and decreasing money on: December 08, 2019, 09:06:17 PM
The 2nd point should not be done with money that's meant for important things because you will have double problems, being broke and unable to  settle bills the fund was meant for, while 1st point can be used to increase money if wisdom and discipline is applied.
It's an absolute rubbish to think you can get rich overnight by becoming a gambler and it's also an absolute rubbish to think that you can't make some profit with gambling.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can never be a means of making money. on: December 08, 2019, 08:21:30 PM
There's no real profit made from gambling if we are to analyse it, the only big win is the jackpot. Loses are always more than winning in most cases and some always end up losing more money after winning big because they want to win more.
605  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mobile Wallets on: December 08, 2019, 03:28:48 PM
Password/fingerprints are only put in place to protect the app alone. An hacker only needs the seeds of the wallet. Mobile wallet always comes in handy and that's why fingerprint security is put in place but not for hackers but for those around you. The only thing you should be scared of is the web wallet because your coins are stored with them.
606  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I earned my first merit How to use it. on: December 08, 2019, 08:18:41 AM
Merits are used to tip good post. If you see a post that you find interesting, tap on the merit at the top right corner of the post and input the number of merit you want to give.

608  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to convert change from Pre-loaded Card to BTC on: December 06, 2019, 03:23:55 PM
Why not try Paxful, they have options to purchase BTC with prepaid cards but one thing is that there are no much offers. There's option for ACCOUNTNOW Card, MyVanilla Prepaid and others.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: December 06, 2019, 06:31:01 AM
In a situation whereby you want to completely quit gambling, you should consider deleting your bet account or make it inactive for months(some betting site usually block inactive accounts). You can also restrict your access to visit the gambling site URL. But in a situation whereby you are too addicted but shows interesting in gambling, you should create a budget from your profit and not from budget you have in mind for something else.
And I hope that it works fine. Cause the solution to being addicted is to cut everything he/she, all the connection to gambling even friends. It is really a big challenge, hard work and it takes time. But the only problem is that if that person really wants to changes otherwise, it serves nothing.
If we are in control of our self at the very beginning, we can't simply fall into addiction but we don't, but letting it happen.
And what if it was peer group that got you into gambling? We should try avoid gambling discussions with any friends that got us into gambling because there is no how they won't bring up conversations about winnings which may tempt you later.
610  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Virtual wallet: what is it? on: December 05, 2019, 08:21:54 PM
Best is to get an hardware which maybe a bit expensive but it's more save and you don't have to worry about losing the device if you have your backup.
If you can't afford an hardware wallet, you should download Electrum wallet. But you have to be careful about getting phised.
Mobile wallet always comes in handy but I can't advice you to put all of your funds in there.
Web wallets are the most dangerous way of storing assets because you don't own the key and your funds might be delayed when you need them most. And web wallet are always a target for hackers.
611  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My bitcoin adventures on: December 05, 2019, 07:20:21 PM
What a long write-up just to end it with something else. This forum doesn't approve that.
I believe your story though but I will tell you this, you have misused so many opportunities in your teens and no one would want to "risk investing in your future". Sorry if I sound somehow harsh.
612  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC FRAUD on: December 05, 2019, 06:08:57 PM
.
Next time, try increasing the security of your wallet by enabling 2fa, SMS authentication, and email authentication.
Having these features won't give complete security because all of the above also can be bypassed so stuck with the private keys and keep them safe from any digital form of storage.
But the situation at hand here is an exchange account not a personal wallet. Exchange funds can only be stolen in general if they have access to the key of the hot wallet. But personal exchange account hacking can only happen if your email account is vulnerable.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: December 05, 2019, 04:18:06 PM
There's a saying that says "the rich always get rich". You will crave for more big wins and want to explore more on the strategy that made you win. For me, I will take gambling as a pure entertainment and won't make it profession. No amount would make me stop but rather make me want more
614  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC FRAUD on: December 05, 2019, 09:42:26 AM
How is that going to be possible? You plan on getting an hacker to hack the person's wallet and getting your coin as revenge? That's all impossible. Things doesn't work that way here because they always say "not your keys, not your wallet".
Next time, try increasing the security of your wallet by enabling 2fa, SMS authentication, and email authentication.
615  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How merit is acquired on: December 05, 2019, 07:57:45 AM
There's no standard to what a post should look like before it gets merited. You need to keep a good post history because some merit sources always check post history before they merit a post. If you are spammer, you won't rank up on time here.
You get merited if you post helpful threads, burst scams, and other. Do not make most of your post in Altcoin discussion because some merit sources rarely go there.

617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Bought Bitcoin Each Week in 2019, You’d Be up 49% on: December 04, 2019, 08:34:23 PM
This is a not so good financial advice as you have painted it. Newbies will take this as an advice without doing good calculations.
Buying weekly during ups and downs of bitcoin isn't profitable as some of your buys might be during the peaks. Remember we were once at 12k this year.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Adoption & HODL'ers Increase Yearly Rate and Halving in 2020. Poll! on: December 04, 2019, 04:17:30 PM
I won't agree 100% with using wallets with UTXO as a means of checking mass adoption. You know part of this wallet may include lost private, or maybe the person in charge of the wallet is dead, sick or something, and also, some people are known for having multiple wallets addresses.

First of all,  this topic is totally unnecessary and it's posted in the wrong section. Secondly, your points doesn't make any sense especially the number 2. You know the danger of using public Wi-Fi because your data can be stolen.

And by the way,
