241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Undo button for transactions on: July 02, 2020, 09:46:53 PM
I'll say it's a great solution for those who can't spend few seconds to confirm that the details of their transactions is correct instead of going through the stress of signing transaction here and there. I would say I see no decentralization from this method. Instead of that, why not use a centralized wallet that sends sends confirmation email with transaction details before broadcasting the TX. Much better that way. We don't need and undo button because this is not a bank.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to ICObench? on: July 02, 2020, 05:42:36 AM
I hope ICObench is not dead because this is the place where I look for reviews of ICO that I'm interested to support. My guess is that maybe there is no good ICO to review that's why it's quiet these past months.

they arent dead because thier site is still functioning i just check it now because i got curious .  for me dead means the site was totally offline but if the site is still working that means they still have a plans  . not familiar with the site but they say its a review site for ico , means they must review all kinds of ico and not just the good one . they shouldnt be biased because people will doubt on them . not seeing a good ico to review isnt the reason why they dont give updates

If a business doesn't receive contract for a long, what do you think would happen to it? It's going to shut. Rebranding is the best option here because if they continue to expect to get an ICO that will will list on their site, they might not get any, and they will run out of money because they will pay their workers and do maintenance.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to retrieve my invested BTC from Plustoken? on: July 01, 2020, 04:33:23 PM
Plus token, cloud token same ponzi shill. You all won't listen when you're warned. You were convinced by the so called leaders that made money off of you by making you join.
Bad news, there's no way to get your investment back because they ran already. I don't know how much you lost actually but I don't think any legal steps is going to work things out because you would spend more money on it more than you invested.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to ICObench? on: June 28, 2020, 09:43:27 PM
I didn't even notice that until seeing this post. Seem the ICO market is dead and they have no project coming there way because of their fee. They are known to have misled investors with their fake reviews. All they care after is money and less research about project after that.
They could do a little rebrand and name themselves IEObench.
245  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful of shitcoins on: June 28, 2020, 09:13:27 PM
One of the worst move of a trader/investor not to carefully analyse the team, the promises, usecase about to be purchased for holding. Most of altcoins are created for pumps and dumps. Good thing you admitted you are at fault and next time you see people shilling coins in groups or exchange chat, you do proper research.

I'd advise you to choose from coins with good trade volume(not fake volume) on a reputable exchange. That way you would know you can't lose everything the way you lose your money to that shit coin.
246  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is China going to dominate the world? on: June 28, 2020, 08:22:30 PM
Situation now is two countries fighting for power. No doubt that the US have no chance against China in terms of tech, economy and good health care but China have to bear the blames for been the source of COVID 19 even though they later tackled it. I will give it to China to rule the world instead of the US.
247  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help in getting funding on: June 28, 2020, 06:34:35 PM
the main problem is trust.
first of all trusting that what you are pitching is not just a fake front for a Ponzi scheme that takes people's money in an irreversible transaction and runs away.
second of all assuming you found a way to proof legitimacy of the business is the trust in future of such business and its profitability. you said you are a lawyer which means you have zero knowledge and experience in the field you are entering (livestock) which means there is a very good chance you would fail. no investor would take those risks.

This comment is so stupid. If people would listen to comments like this, no big companies would ever exist (like amazon, facebook tesla)

yeah, 99% would not invest, 99% are scams, but with a great idea you can go a long way.

This guy needs support, not just same lazy ass comment you would fail or nobody will take the risk.

You know why its called venture capital not risk capital? because most vc see this as an adventure, and not as risk. They are also prepared 90% will fail, but those 10% not failing usually generate 25-100x so they are still good.

shame on you

Why do you sound angry about the opinion? Truth be told, his background can only help him in sorting legal procedures concerning his business, but who knows if it's true. Why would he want BTC investment and not fiats which can be reversed.
Investors don't think their investments will fall but rather analyse the risks. A livestock investment can't give 25x profit.
Don't compare Amazon, Facebook and others to livestock.
248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Holding 9000$ Support on: June 27, 2020, 09:24:18 PM
Right now, BTC is at 8,970$, which indicates that it's declining the 9,000 - 10,000 pattern. Being below 9k at the moment and there might be a little dump in the next few days if it doesn't go up to continue it pattern of 9k - 10k.
Very hard to predict this coin's movement.
Please, move topic to price speculation section.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum too tied to Vitalik Buterin? on: June 27, 2020, 08:34:18 PM
Know that Ethereum is where it is today because of Vitalik and the developers working under the projects. Same as other project CEOs.
I always think of it that if other projects decided to keep their identity anonymous like the founder of Bitcoin, there might have been a war between the government and crypto world. There's still decentralization presently to me. It's still better as it is now. Use case is what I think is very important in a project.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum transactions not going through on: June 27, 2020, 03:19:34 PM
I tried sending a small amount of tokens yesterday to see if the transaction goes through but it has been 22 hours and the transaction is stuck. Gas price is 15 gwei and gas limit is 300000. What's the min gas price for getting a confirmation? I have seen transactions with lesser values getting confirmed. My txs always got confirmed earlier but now it is stuck.
Maybe the wallet app you are using This happened to a friend too. He sent eth with normal gas price but it didn't confirm for about an hour. What he did was export the private keys of his trust wallet to imtoken and resent the transaction, and this time, it went through.
251  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Read and Learn bounty managers on: June 26, 2020, 07:06:48 AM

Bounty management is all about the money, and focus has always been about that.

Bounty Management is not about money, it's about reputation. If Bounty Detectives manages every bounties that comes their way, I'm sure they won't be here anymore. Do you think big managers like yahoo62278, Hhampuz doesn't get a lot of proposals from project? They always do proper research and accept anyone that's up to their standard.
252  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: USDT (erc20) to USD on: June 26, 2020, 06:53:38 AM
I guess that shouldn't be much of a problem. You can swap your USDT for BTC/ETH and look for someone willing to take your BTC and send you PayPal in return.
Since PayPal is very easy to request refunds, especially during a P2P deal. I would recommend using trusted currency exchange services like this one
253  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware: FORSAGE another scheme (Ponzi) on: June 25, 2020, 08:15:32 PM
Very clear ponzi and the most funniest thing is that it's pyramid. You can't earn if you don't refer, never. Those that promote it won't tell you this.
I was reading and argument about this some days ago whereby someone was try to make it look like Ethereum is related to forsage. This is the stupid way ponzi shillers promote scheme in the name of cryptocurrency and dirty the name blockchain and crypto once they exist scam. Those that got scammed will never want to hear anything about crypto.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning Scam : Crypcore Exchange on: June 25, 2020, 08:09:04 AM
I think someone wants to declare this exchange scam as I have noticed there are two Facebook pages for the same project. One has 800+ followers but the other one has no like no follower. I don't see the post on the 800+ follower page the post which you have shared here but in the comments section, the fake FB page has given the same comments for BTC grand awarding which is no doubt totally fake and scam.

I just saw this post and started to investigate then I saw a comment on this thread that said the page making the comment doesn't have the creator badge.
This scam is commonly used on Twitter too, they pretend to be the creator, thereby promising returns to whoever sends coin to them. The only way to know is by checking followers count and check if it's the one official one you're following.
255  Other / Archival / Re: 💥💥 Roobet.com | Guess The Slot #15 | $200 prize pool | Level 5 💥💥 on: June 25, 2020, 07:57:01 AM

@Hhampuz BTW, I just wanted to ask whether we are not allowed to withdraw unless we make a deposit. Because I have never made any deposit but have made several bets with my winnings. When I decided to withdraw some funds today morning, I received this warning. Can we have an exemption  Tongue

That's the site rule. You have to deposit and you can deposit less than 1$ BTC

257  Other / Meta / Re: How about restricting low rank people from opening new topics on: June 24, 2020, 08:44:18 PM
Last 2 weeks, I noticed lost of topics got deleted and then I learned these are most common here as low value/repeated  topics/discussions are being removed continuously.

I do choose the topics more carefully still I find my count varies time to time. It is really disappointing to see after writing posts up to the level of feeling pain on my mind.

Any possible solution for this year long existing problem?

I guess if newbies and few other low rank members will be restricted to get approval on their topic, we may somehow solve the hassles of frequent removal of topics.

And if there's restriction, do you think newbies that are willing to contribute to the forum will want to stay?
Like you have said, repeated or low value post are the ones getting deleted here, if you notice reduction in your post count, then it's due to one of the reasons you stated. Moderators are only doing their part. There are lot of reports they deal with every minute/hour.
258  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner's needs directives from seniors. on: June 23, 2020, 08:26:37 PM
If you you organise a survey for the so called beginners that needs encouragement, I think their encouragement will be about getting merit. Like common, the seniors too were once a beginner and they made a lot of effort to get there. No one here has a cult or something, there's no rule to who can send or can receive merit here. Here's like a mini world, many here are known to have met each other because IRL because they have maintained a good reputation here. Find a better side thing to do to help forum users too. You can be a spam burster or a scam buster, you can help other newbies on helpful posts.
259  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not be deceived by sending PM. on: June 23, 2020, 04:24:03 PM
This will be the first time I'm reading about this. Can't believe elmanchez fell for it and the scammers want to destroy this user's reputation because of greed. I'll advise user's not to conclude their deal on telegram and rather use forum PM. And if asked for verification, they should rather sign a message from a staked address on the forum. That should be enough.
