461  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: fuck google ads on: March 27, 2020, 03:54:21 PM
It's so sad. And this can't be stopped because Google also wants to earn money and it's difficult for them to filter scams just like that. Beginners are the one that is mostly going to fall for this. Imagine a beginner Google search Coinbase and a fake site comes up.

Best is to spread awareness about this things whenever we are mentoring someone on crypto.
462  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Discussion - Corona Virus Spamming on: March 27, 2020, 03:05:06 PM
The topics are creates to just discuss about the virus as it's being done on social media/internet in general. Other section are also experiencing this and we hope to see the topic go off once it's over.

The only thing we should be concerned about is plagiarism. Users should be banned if they plagiarize other people's content and post here.
463  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I put money in my bitcoin wallet? on: March 26, 2020, 07:29:44 PM
I am not sure why you can't find the button " receive, load, cash in,deposit ", etc. Etc. It's already there you just have to take a good read and browse your wallet, for sure you'll find it there.

Finding these buttons doesn't means he would know how to get it. OP did not tell us which wallet he created so it's difficult to tell which way to get except you tell him to buy from an online wallet like Bitpay, Luno and others depending on his country.

I find it funny how OP made this post and then went offline since then. Either he's gotten his answers elsewhere or figured things out himself but what I know is that the answers under this topic is going to help other beginners.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does Bitcoin Have Value? on: March 26, 2020, 10:29:31 AM
We(the market) are the one that decides the value of what BTC will be. This is why is the volatility is high and can never be stable.
There's a time BTC was worth less than cents, it became more valuable when it started gaining recognition and big institutions started coming in.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: March 25, 2020, 08:09:11 PM
Instead of doing that why don't just completely go to the casino, just stay at home and because of different circumstance that the spreading of the disease it's very unexpectable and unpredictable that you if you do all of that you may still acquire the disease because according to different sources covid is airborne so just stay at home and don't gamble your life.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: March 24, 2020, 07:56:32 AM
It doesn't matter to me how long i can promote the project, the important is the project must be a legit, it will be paid off of your work with the project. If you promoted a scam project it will be a waste of time so dyor first.

The main question is what will become a project after it collects or does not raise funds.
After all, even good honest and high-quality projects are sometimes not able to cope with the task of raising funds, which ultimately leads to the closure of the project.
But you could support this good project for a year or more. In any case, you will be upset and disappointed with such an unpleasant result.

I've seen a project that raised funds through IEO on an exchange, conducted a bounty, paid the first round and didn't pay all for the second round. Now there isn't any announcement or message from the CEO and the token is performing poorly on exchange. Many genuine projects always change after some time.
467  Other / Meta / Re: Why did you removed my post? on: March 23, 2020, 11:30:55 AM
Your post were deleted because of two reasons
Firstly, because it's in the wrong section(Mining). It's supposed to be in Beginners And Help Section. The moderator could have moved it but,
Secondly, you asked for donation which must have made the mod deleted it. This forum is against begging of any kind.

You're actually a good poster and I noticed that two of your old posts got merited and I'm sure it's because you got noticed through this post. Keep posting your contents and follow the post guide.
468  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Corona Virus crypto related extortion email on: March 22, 2020, 03:31:36 PM
Oh no, he's gonna infect you with CoRona virus. I think he forgot to paste his BTC wallet address. Oh, I think I can help with mine. Hehe.
This is an outdated scam method the scammer is trying to use. Nice try Smiley.
Tell him you can also help him double his BTC.
469  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello, I'm already member of CryptoTalk.Org on: March 22, 2020, 02:38:33 PM
If you are looking to join cryptotalk campaign here, you are actually late and you don even meet up with the requirements which is having a Snr Member rank above and not spamming. You post and replies under this thread shows that you are nothing different than other spammers looking to earn quick money from this forum without any contributions.
470  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My experience with Bitluck - The most profitable cloud mining company on: March 22, 2020, 12:33:20 PM
At this moment, crypto mining is not profitable as it used to be some years ago. There no way you can get such huge return within days without it being a ponzi scheme. Also accepting PayPal as a payment method is a no for me.

I know they are paying well, yes, but they can't last for long once fresh money stops flowing in.
471  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How the fake exchange traps newbies. on: March 22, 2020, 08:13:05 AM
I've come across so many of these guys on telegram, they tell you their country is restricted from trading and promise to give you commission. They send you the coin and you are being told to deposit some BTC because their system detects fraud. Just stay away and don't send anything
Example is a user that was spamming here yesterday with this link
Code:
https://xchange-coin.ga/
User profile

473  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fake exchange. fake discount on: March 21, 2020, 02:22:00 PM

Edit- The post has been deleted now.
User- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2784019
And he made a new one again some minutes ago. I have reported it to the mods. The user won't stop spamming except his account gets nuked, better than red tagging the account because they won't stop promoting the link by creating new accounts
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency fraud and scams on: March 21, 2020, 11:47:09 AM
Every of your points is straightforward and can't be really understood by any newbie.
There's no need to run scans on bitcoin miners because are either scam and will always turn out to be scam even if they pay some people.
Also, exchanges charging it's users high/low fees is not a problem here. It's part of the agreement and there are ways to check even before you sign up for the exchange.
475  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coronavirus scam email - do not donate bitcoin on: March 20, 2020, 04:59:22 PM
There are always people trying to benefit from any bad happenings. I saw some post some weeks ago about someone creating Corona coin and it's trading. Just this week, I have seen website asking people for donations for fighting Corona. Same thing on Facebook. Scammers will always look for methods, we should always spread awareness of their new methods.
476  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How to protect yourself from fake giveaways. on: March 20, 2020, 06:53:32 AM
My method of detecting scam giveaways
- Always verify from official channels of the coin
Make sure you join official channels from the official project's website
- Run away from giveaways that requests for funds or sensitive infos
Giveaways like this usually promise big rewards in BTC or ETH or great coins. And at the end of the day, they ask participants to send some amount for verification.

I will rather participate in a genuine giveaway with low reward than waste time on fake giveaways.
477  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do we classify full time bounty/signature hunters as? on: March 19, 2020, 06:20:58 PM
but the rest are offering pretty low rates for a living... Moreover, I've had many periods of time in which I've had no signature campaign to join.

What you categorized as low rate is seen as huge money in some countries. I'm in a campaign that pays me 45$ weekly and that's huge amount here.

Quote
What do you do in that case? Smiley
That's why they have to save incase of future. You shouldn't spend too much if you depend mostly on bounties/signature. And I think most people that hunt bounties and signatures are students IMO.
478  Other / Off-topic / What do we classify full time bounty/signature hunters as? on: March 19, 2020, 05:12:00 PM
I have always wondered what category bounty/signature hunters should be classified under. Some people from countries like mine live/depend on bounties or signature, I know some people that do this.
Should they be called freelancers, or online promoters?
479  Other / Meta / Re: Moderators Doubling Membership Fee Despite People Loosing Jobs on: March 19, 2020, 12:05:48 PM
You have been on this forum for 1 years, 3 months and you never complained about the fee not until today. It's not a most you pay for copper membership if you think you could make constructive posts.
Copper membership only gives you privilege to post images as a newbie. Try to rank up and stop complaining here. Same membership fee is what is being used to maintain this forum.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto analyst accused of photoshopping trade screenshots on: March 19, 2020, 08:11:56 AM
Reason why it's bad to follow trade advise. All these traders turns to experts overnight after making few gains putting their followers funds at risks under the umbrella of "disclaimer". There's no perfect trade analysis, reason why most of them always give disclaimer. But I find it annoying for using fake screenshots to gain more subscribers.
