The Ice is Falling! The Ice is Falling!

http://paranormal.about.com/library/weekly/aa020700a.htm

"For the past month, mysterious falls of large chunks of ice have rained down on Italy and Spain. But these are just the latest instances of a phenomenon that has occurred at least for centuries.

...

Professor Jesus Martinez Frias, the geologist investigating the ice falls in Spain, told BBC News, “The most surprised person of all by this phenomenon is me.”"

http://www.oewf.org/en/2015/02/interview-with-prof-jesus-martinez-frias-redespa-director/

"Prof. Dr. Jesús Martinez-Frias, Senior Scientist at Instituto de Geociencias and Professor “Ad Honorem” at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, has an impressive professional career. He has participated in numerous scientific projects (e.g. IGCP, NASA, ESA, NATO) and combines his expertise on Planetary Geology and Astrobiology with aspects on Geoscience Education and Geoethics. Here he gives us some insights into his work – also for the Spanish Network of Planetology and Astrobiology (REDESPA)."

I do not believe that the Earth is flat. That is my opinion and I will stick with that.
Believing means not knowing!

Tell me why is the sun moving the same speed than stars, or is everything the exact same distance away.
Like the sun is 400 times bigger than the moon and like magic also 400 times bigger.

Thank you for not sending browny points, much appreciated.

Lol, at digging your way to heaven.
so what happens if we dig down?

do you think the sun is a sphere or flat as well

Yes I ask this question too, so we got 3000 miles up in the sky, but how much can we dig below before we hit the lower firmament?

I found this video about the bottom firmament:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEVW_9EVjFE

Any answers please? I`m curious how deep can you dig down before you hit the lower firmament?

How as an individual can I know if the Earth is a sphere or a flat disc? What experiment can I do that doesn't involve trusting information from a 3rd party that would prove what the geometry really is?

Go to a church, ask them what they believe.  The truth is usually the opposite.

Now that's just mean. xD

There are many applications available to display just that kind of information. Just select the Flat Earth map projection (Azimuthal equidistant) in the options when viewing the output.

I don't know but I want to visit a city named Sandwich. Do you have tasty sandwiches there?

So we made believe that we turn 1 rpm per day (23h56m) which means standing exactly on the spot on either pol, he needs to move 0 km per hour and on equator over 1600 km per hour to manage the 40000 km circumference.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtve-BDflEk

No the guy in the middle (standing right at north pol) clearly does not have the same sensation than the guys on the outer ring on this small circle (the bigger the better)

It's very basic but gets the job done.

The sections on perspective and flatness of the horizon are proof beyond a reasonable doubt.

This video is a game changer.

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firmament:
Quote
The firmament is the sky, conceived as a vast solid dome.[1] According to the Genesis creation narrative, God created the firmament to separate the "waters above" the earth from those below.[2] The word is anglicized from Latin firmamentum, which appears in the Vulgate, a late fourth-century Latin translation of the Bible.

Where does the sky start? Doesn't it start at the ground and go upward? The idea that the sky is a solid dome isn't something that means anything like waving your hand through the lower parts of the sky. In other words, the solidity of the dome has meaning other than the air being a solid dome.

Some aspects of aether physics explain this solid dome stuff. Some aspects of parallel universes theory physics explain more.

Actually, if you have ever been on the ocean or another large body of water you can see the curvature of the earth. Look out at a boat on the ocean as it moves away from you

Yep, been in a large swimming pool the other day and the mathematical certified bulge of any water regardless of size. (maths does not care if cup of coffee or lake, canal, ocean) was there. check sig

Actually, if you have ever been on the ocean or another large body of water you can see the curvature of the earth. Look out at a boat on the ocean as it moves away from you

As the boat travels away from you it visually moves up towards the vanishing point at the horizon (at eye level). Once it passes the vanishing point the image becomes blocked by the ocean image that rises up to eye level until the boat finally disappears. Physically the boat isn't moving up at all, it's moving forward.

If you look at the horizon it forms a perfectly flat line 360° around you. If you relocate your position so the boat is traveling from right to left or vice-versa and you're at a distance far enough so that the boat is traveling along the horizon you'll notice the boat doesn't fly up off into the sky nor does it dive down into the water.

The line that forms the horizon matches the contour of the ocean and it's perfectly flat. You can see on the ocean an expanse along the horizon that stretches for hundreds of miles and it's flat.

Not to mention the gaze and the evaporing water, that vapor is creating mirages, or reflecting the image in a weird way, giving the illusion that the boat is under the curvature, while it is not?

Sure but look at my video, they found a solid, very dense water below the oceans, that could be the lower firmanent.

Others suggest that the firmament is 12 miles below, just where this borehole is stopped digging:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kola_Superdeep_Borehole

So which one is it then?

noun
1. the vault of heaven; sky.

Great. Now we have a sky under water that is denser than the water itself.

At least the round earthers make a bit of sense.

About 150 years ago a 1/2 ton block of distilled water ice fell out of the sky. Please do not argue with the 1/2 ton block of ice, thank you.
