Update: I've posted in the Marketplace section for a dev who can fork Dash: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1165190I know there are some devs from large coins who do contract work but they might be expensive, any thoughts on this? I also messaged the exchanges about the coin swap idea, it seems like this is the way everyone wants to go.

You can look in the Silkcoin thread they are doing a MAJOR swap and are going dark! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=676976.2660But i;m not sure they have time for another coin, the project seems very heavy!

Swap for pure PoS coin is not nice task. Last staking nodes (and MN nodes) will rape the network rewards. It will be kinda race - who stay longer with official swap end and whom coins will be not swapped because blockchain will halt or slow down extremely. Generally speaking the best solution is to go a short PoW during swap. Or create big fund to secure move of last classified blocks.

Thanks Dimitry. Here is the checklist they are using for their swap: OK some explanation on what is happening at Prelaunch of DarkSilk.
1. Thread will be started on Bitcointalk (unmoderated) 2. All systems will be built and ready for zero hour 3. Mining pools will be made ready with just wallets to be installed, again ready for zero hour 4. Exchanges will be notified and markets arranged 5. Website and all Guides and FAQs will be live and readily available prior to zero hour.

what about freezing the network at a certain block height and then doing the swap. If we do this on an exchange, they can freeze the market and do the swap I think? blocks above that height from the old chain will be rejected then

Still some coins have to be left to let blockchain go till last official block. With current diffculty (60K 8BITS stake) it will be not cheap. Besides that coin can be "added" in premine of new chain.

Easy solution: ask bittrex to stake their wallet during swap.

I don't think it helps to antagonize anyone

Just in planning stage, I guess this week try to get the plan together and who does what. Then unless it's unpopular, go ahead soon as we can.

Me and my mind are in excellent state. Also keep in mind that even out of board I will bring here more support than you so your behaviour hurts this community more than me personally.

I think your presence and behavior damage the brand. Maybe that's just me though.

I don't think 1% of the potential of the 8BIT brand has been found yet, and we are all investors in this together. Third time lucky

Seems like you don't understand that your and your friend masteretarded behaviour brought this situation. And just like your friend masteretarded you don't learn. During yet another awesome moment to shut up you open your dirty mouth again.

Any game veterans out there old enough to know what game this is? This screenshot is altered (or at least it's not 8bit version), although it's IK (also known as WKC).

Unfortunately there was no official IK+ for my Atari. Correct!! I think it's been cropped. So you were an Atari guy? My first machine was an Amiga (yes, technically it's a 16bit game not 8bit, but it's all retro right )
