all the community of 8bit coin should send a Complaining ticket to cryptopia, let's make some presure on them in order to bring the wallet back online.
I sincerely believe that cryptopia people have not wanted to solve their wallet, because here in the forum people who do not know anything about crypto coins have been able to synchronize the wallet. The solution is to list 8bit in another exchange as novaexchange. For what you propose we have done before, and his silence is weeks I am afraid Cryptopia is not the only problem here... They want to sync using official nodes and check it using the official block explorer. I am not sure whether official nodes currently are on the right chain, but block explorer is definitely stuck: http://explorer.8-bit.ga/ is still on block 994046, which is pretty old block (from Jul 30)... Dev has to fix this somehow, and only after that we can start pushing Cryptopia.

I'd also like a working block explorer as would many, I'm sure.

Hello, I received the coins from cryptopia, a week ago after they disabled the withdrawals in cryptopia, because I bought the coins one day before cryptopia went into maintenance with the 8bit wallet, and 5 days ago I received the bittrex coins , Which means that I am in the long chain, and you in the short, I have the same chain as drays. Block height is now: 1004856

i contacted cryptopia and this was their answer : Thanks for contacting Cryptopia. Our admins are currently investigating a potential network fork for the 8BIT coin and once this investigation is completed, we'll know more and hopefully everything will be back to normal. I'd recommend keeping an eye on our Coin Info page at https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/CoinInfo/?coin=8BIT to be kept up to date with the status of this wallet. If you have any nodes you wanted to give us, please send an email to nodes@cryptopia.co.nz and we'll get those added as a part of the maintenance for you. Kind regards, Cryptopia Support

Kind regards, Cryptopia Support Drays nodes have always been in the long chain, do not provide the ones provided by the Dev since they are in the short chain. If they really want the cryptopia wallet to sync, Here are the reasons: I say it because the people that Bittrex managed to synchronize their wallet, and so we received coins recently, plus a day after the maintenance I also received my coins from cryptopia using the nodes provided by Drays. So that's the reason that explorer is so far behind. Because it is on the short chain These nodes are in the old chain that used cryptopia the day before to desay the wallet, when it was in the long chain addnode=91.121.79.208 addnode=104.207.131.249 addnode=184.164.129.202 addnode=136.243.147.46 addnode=144.76.115.195 addnode=136.243.147.46 addnode=136.243.147.46 addnode=197.231.221.211 addnode=136.243.147.46 addnode=85.10.199.167 addnode=136.243.147.46 addnode=5.141.198.37 addnode=136.243.147.46 addnode=207.138.200.254 addnode=91.10.24.229 addnode=85.10.199.167 addnode=46.101.15.38 addnode=136.243.147.46 addnode=98.14.211.131 addnode=136.243.147.46

I have sent the Drays nodes that are in the long chain, explaining that they were in the correct chain before disabling the withdrawals of the coins, now if they implement those nodes will be able to synchronize the portfolio as it did bittrex

Folks, I've just made one more snapshot of the chain. Here it is: https://mega.nz/#!bs1hFY7Z!IKT8LKLzr0ngkK3bobM1aQLxy9vWU7fhf9F6grGT5E8It is pretty fresh (about 5-6 hours old), and it is the longest chain as far as I know. My wallet now is at block 1006400 and has a lot of connections, so this chain seems to be dominant, and should be safe to follow. This file also contains "peers.dat", so it might help you to find right peers.

For the ones who are up-to-date, you can check whether you are on the same chain, by typing 8bitd getblockhash 1006400 If you are on the same chain, you should get 1b6b9efff8929239697fc00d2863b064151ef903c2a1a262f933cb16c6b4dbe6

Oh, there are many... I put there every peer I've ever found, and I suppose at least half of them are dummy. Its kind if a garbage bin I would refrain from publishing all those possibly redundant nodes here, but if you want I can send it to you. So... are you in the same chain? Do you see the same hash on block 1006400?

Because it has 9 hours behind out of synchronization, but I get only 3 connections with the snapshot that you have shared, this happened in one of my masternodes because I used the nodes that the dev shared a week ago. I would appreciate if you could send me the list of nodes you use in the 8bit.conf file

What is the name of the masternode.conf file?
I tried creating a masternode.conf file, but when I go the console and type in: masternode list-conf it comes back empty.
Trying to run masternodes on vps with a controller wallet that has all the coins. Anyone doing this?

@8-Bit-Party... has this capability been removed? If so, can it be put back in? Thanks.
