Some more notes on the download/sync process
Some more sync tests have now been performed. Both worked out fine. Details below.
Be careful to shutdown the client/wallet in the normal way. Killing the process may cause inconsistencies if db writing is happening at that moment!
Download and chain sync from scratch on Ubuntu 14.04, i7 quad core processor, result: - Good connection, physical line, 10-100MB line. - Version 0.9.1.30 of Credits-Qt client. - After 9 hours, Bitcoin blockchain downloaded and synced. Credits download did not start at first and was waiting for blocks. Probably due to long waiting times for nodes when the Bitcoin blockchain downloaded. Revisited after two hours. Both chains downloaded and in sync. - Took about 10 hours. - All green, both chains in sync. Everything worked out fine.
Download and chain sync from scratch on Windows 7, four year old Dell laptop, old simpler i7 processor, result: - Good connection, physical line, 10-100MB line. - Version 0.9.1.30 of Credits-Qt client. - Took about 26 hours. - Unclear wether long sync time where due to bad sync node or processing of blocks - All green, both chains in sync. Everything worked out fine.

How do i know, that my wallet works fine? As long as you do not receive any connections errors, you should be fine for mining. Also, make sure both your bitcoin and creditcoin blockchain are in sync by looking for the two green check marks at the bottom of your client. Check the photo.

Yes, both in sync and both green check marks are green, i wonder how long that take to get a "reward"!? edit: here some errors from the debug.log 2015-05-01 09:06:24 ERROR: Bitcoin: AcceptToMemoryPool : nonstandard transaction: dust 2015-05-01 09:06:33 hashmeter 737096 hash/s 2015-05-01 09:06:34 ERROR: Bitcoin: CheckTransaction() : vin empty 2015-05-01 09:06:34 ERROR: Bitcoin: AcceptToMemoryPool: : CheckTransaction failed 2015-05-01 09:06:34 Bitcoin: Misbehaving: 217.23.12.108:8333 (70 -> 80) 2015-05-01 09:06:34 ERROR: Bitcoin: AcceptToMemoryPool : nonstandard transaction: dust

It can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 hours; it all really depends on your "luck." I'm usually able to mine a block every 2 or 3 hours at 7.4 Mh/s. You can check both your current and network hashrate by going to the debug menu, then console, and entering: getmininginfo Also did you already input the command to start mining? If not, how many cores does your processor have?

i start with the command setgenerate true 1, and i have a corei3 I'm assuming you have a quad-core processor, so you could chose anywhere from mining with one core to four. You could use the command: setgenerate true -1 to mine with all of your cores at 100%. It may seems like the first block will take forever to mine, but the second will be even harder since your difficulty will double since a deposit would not available to be made beforehand. I could sell you some credits if you like.

Post your address and let me know if you do restart it and I'll send you a small amount of credits to see if it goes through.

Currently just working on reindexing to allow for a seperate txn index. As of now, the blockchain explorer only shows blocks and block info, with no specific transaction data. That should be fixed once the reindex is completed! I'll post in this thread once I have no bugs, and am making it live and online!
