Looks classy i was trying to stay in the theme of the festival which included recycling and sustainability Many people also asked about aurora coins sustainability and impact on the environment and I made sure to mention that aurora coin is partially mined from geothermal energy. Good answers, but boy, a lot of work... I like all those environmental friendly SUV's in the background as well

Hey Adamastor, Wanted to let you know that I think the pics are great! Looks like a lot of work, but fun too, making those with some friends. Your enthusiasm is appreciated.

I'd like to build something like this for Auroracoin: https://coinmap.org/#/world/49.97065584/14.49920654/8Maybe something simpler, using Google Maps. Would anyone like to collaborate, or know of an opensourced version that can be cloned?

AikaPool has FORK!
Please update to new version - and keep an eye to Auroracoin channels : a new code will go live soon (timeline to come) and will need a hardfork. I would offer every single pool operator to connect with me (PM me) - so you will have a direct link to AUR - and I'll make sure you don't miss the next huge step coming.

You have to remember that pools are not set it and forget it. If pool ops are not going to monitor the coins they profit from, they shouldn't mine them. Maybe it's time for me to spin up another dedicated pool for AUR. -Fuse

Your best bet is insight.auroracoin.io, it's maintained by one of the members of our dev team. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but that unfortunately happens when wallets are not updated. We have been advocating for over 6 months now to update, we did keep a bridge node in place as a service though. Eventually time came to pull the plug on that. Please send me a PM with your contact details and I make sure you'll be on the list to be informed directly when the new fork comes...

Give please, the list of the correct nodes! On insight.auroracoin.io the block #201537 exist. In blockchain of a wallet this block isn't present.

Seed nodes run at: s1.auroraseed.net, aurseed1.criptoe.com, s1.auroraseed.com, s1.auroraseed.org and s1.auroraseed.eu The new wallet should pick these up automatically, but can take time. Best is to remove your peers.dat file before starting the new wallet.

Give please, the list of the correct nodes! On insight.auroracoin.io the block #201537 exist. In blockchain of a wallet this block isn't present.
The official seeds are as follows:s1.auroraseed.net aurseed1.criptoe.com s1.auroraseed.com s1.auroraseed.org s1.auroraseed.eu With regards to the block on the insight explorer we maintain: if you check the block history, you'll find that the block 201537 is correctly identified as this block- http://insight.auroracoin.io/block/47a57cbcb0e40390ac651808726da75245e85db72bc43c79672c3ac10d817ae7. As you can see, the block is labeled as being a version 2 block, which is indicative of the newer clients. The block you posted, http://insight.auroracoin.io/block/5dfccbcd32ef2b7b988c843863b1fe77fdbe8154efc499b8497d4b1721c0ebe7, is a version 1 block, and it is not indexed in the list for correct chain. Version 1 blocks were mined from the old wallets, and in turn the incorrect fork that was caused by the bridge node being removed. Insight is reporting the block, but not that it's orphaned or a fork. This could be a limitation of the insight software, or an indication that we might need to do a reindex of the block DB to get the data squared away. We might just do this for good measure. I'm sorry you mined on the wrong fork, but you need to stay on top of the coins you run on the pool so things like this don't happen. -Fuse

Good evening Harry, You seems ready for the fork ! This will be a very solid upgrade and an important step toward auroracoin main goal, that is icelandic adoption. The team behind the coin is the same for a long time - after they did a pacific takeover, with the assisting of Baldur Odinson, the founding dev. For several months (almost 2 years), this group of dedicated coders and entrepreneurs worked countless hour to develop further this project, and prepare somewhat a new birth. New code, new websites (still working on it), new AUR/ISK icelandic exchange, social media channel developement, and some things to come that I can't discuss until it's 100% confirmed, all this supported by the Aurarad Foundation, a legal entity created by Pétur Arnasson and few others... Wow that was a long sentence. So, yes, this is a new team, a very active team.

I think Aurora is part of history cryptoworld, nice to see this project still alive and looks like have a feature. I am not Icelander, but wish all of you well.

Very few coins revivals prove successful. I do like the idea of country focused coins. Good luck with this one!

AUR is one of my favorite coins. I look at it as a sleeping giant, with the dedicated work we see as the determining factor that can make it's success happen. I don't think luck is needed! LOL

Why would you keep AUR in a wallet. It's a trading coin! Enjoy the pump from the AUR team and sell and buy back those 3.6k coins at a lower price in a months time.
