Well this is very, very interesting

ShapeShift.io and Coinomi.com have teamed-up to allow for instant altcoin exchanges within Coinomi's multi-coin, universal wallet! You can now buy or sell Dash with multiple altcoins without leaving your wallet.

...You thinking this could be used with the SPR exchange?

Pretty much, yes.

Having looked around, there is so much open source software that it seems like the tricky thing is setting up the system to run on servicenodes.

The base exchange software is pretty much there.

Nice to see a bit of volume starting to pick up on Bittrex.  It might not be huge but its a significant improvemt on recent months.

Can't wait until you get the wallet finished georgem.  Out of interest, have you found that having to really scrutinise the code of the QT has allowed you to understand a bit more about what Mr Spread was doing?

Next update.

Do not show the private key! If someone has a screencapture (hack or just a vnc visitor, etc) he can see the private key too, so the key is not "private" any more. Smiley

true ...

we have four - but only two that are in depth for granitecoin ...

basic ...

- http://cryptobe.com/chain/GraniteCoin ...

a little more in depth ...

- http://grn.blockexplorer.cc/chain/GraniteCoin ...

in depth ...

- https://chainz.cryptoid.info/grn/ ...
- http://blockexperts.com/grn ...

and they really are not that expensive on a yearly basis ...

correctly showing estimated time for a 50% Chance of finding an address:

Do not show the private key! If someone has a screencapture (hack or just a vnc visitor, etc) he can see the private key too, so the key is not "private" any more. Smiley

If someone has captured a users computer the way you describe all hope is lost anyway.

But here's an update just for you.

A "Show Privkeys" Checkbox:

 Smiley

BTW, vanitygen shows its privkeys in clear text, and even all wallets will post a privkey in clear text when you do a dumpprivkey.

So ... I guess if you feel secure at home with your computer you can let "your private parts hang out"?

I can't make any estimations anymore (I will get better at it over time), so I will just keep posting a screenshot or two everyday so you can judge for yourself.

There are just a few tiny things left, and we can go online with the preview version.

Qt is just one of the parts that makes everything work, and the least important too, but you have to start somewhere.
I chose to first get uptodate with Qt because it interests me anyway, because I want to do OpenGL stuff with Qt using C++.

Yes, Scrutinizing the code allowed me to now have like a map of the code in my memory, this is very helpful.

Can you make it so that if your wallet is locked, you need to put your password in to see the private keys?
I guess you would need to put in your password when you start generating them too in order for that to work.
Eh maybe not.

Eh maybe not.

It works like this:
if your wallet is unlocked and you have "auto import to wallet" activated then you won't ever see the privkeys anyway, because the moment a privkey is found it immediately disappears from the list (never showing the privkey, not even for a blink) and goes directly to your "receive coins" list.

So having access to the privkeys themselves is for people who don't want to use them in their wallet ANYWAY... but want to export them... and then delete the job.
