can't see how it could fix somebody life , it may do that at the beggining and as some people are saying now "It's fun to take risk" also things like "It's my passion and i love it" , that passion who used to fix your life will sooner or later turns into addiction and that addiction will finally wreck and finish your life a part .

i believe someone outthere has a good life , i mean good earning because gambling .
a good life is the proof that gamble fixed their life, gamble help people grow/earn money.
or gamble burn their money for some people, although gambling may not will always fix everyone lives and may not will always wreck everyone lives.
Everything will be fine in right time, everyone has the fate of each.

Well , if gambling was fixing lifes (which is not) and helping people (which is not) and also making people to make profit the whole world would do it , but gambling websites makes sure so you get addiction and you always come back and play more and more till you lose .
Only rich people can get richer with Gambling because they have no problem on taking high risks , poor or average people most of the time greed eats & them and they wanna bet gamble more which screw them but that dosen't change the fact that there issome people who know when to stop . so I'd say right now 80% wreck life , 20% fix it .

Gambling has had me sad many nights but I never allowed myself to loss enough to get into debt and allow it to really wreak my life.  I was tempted many times to reup and give it a chance to but I never did.  As for gambling fixing a life, I pray no one ever expects it to do so because it RARELY will.

I cant understand how it ruins peoples lives, its never been that important to me.

I tend to play tournaments for smallish amounts or if I'm feeling lucky sit and go on a bigger money table.

Gambling is fun but it also can be expensive because of the house edge.  I gamble very small amounts because while it is fun it is also stupid.  That is why I like bitcoin so much, easy to gamble very small amounts of money, less than .01 USD.   So it's fun for life and I don't risk wrecking it.

Don't know if it is a fix or not but it's definitely not a wreck for me, I love gambling, I do it online & offline, I have been gambling for 7 years I think and I don't think I can think of my life without it. Apart from BTC gambling where I have lost around 2+ BTC, I don't think I am at a loss anywhere, I don't think I am good enough to do it for living as I know some people who are but still I don't think I am bad it.

moderation is key I guess, but many people have issues with self-control and can never stop; just a passing thought but maybe gambling is illegal in places and has restrictions in places it isnt so that all the money doesnt end up in the hands of the casinos, if that were to happen the economy would halt as the people would have no money to spend. just a thought though.
