I would say that gambling will not be able to fix one's life when they are made to destroy the life of the ignorant people who try their luck in gambling. Gambling is dangerous when there is money involve to take the action and in turn you would lose in gambling .

Actually Both. Gambling can fix your life because it gives you happiness, enjoyment, and also sometimes if you are lucky enough, you can earn money. But if you are abusing the goodness of gambling, this will ruin your life. Maybe this will wreck your life permanently.
