How to teach kids about Bitcoin?

i think the  best way to make them understand about bitcoins is by saying that bitcoin is another type of currency and it is not fiat like usd or any other curreny .it exits and it cant be felt and it  is  the  future and it has a lot of potential.

possible to theoretically that bitcoin is similar to other currencies such as dollars, pounds, euro. maybe they would understand, but to get to know the system of bitcoin. I would bet that kids will not understand it

in fact children and teenagers need to take interest in their education and when they complete their education then they can think about using bitcoin for earning money. i thin then bitcoin will have become more stable and reliable.

Bitcoin nature or any Crypto Currency nature is not allowing it to be Stable , Yes reliability can get achieved ( but still in doubt )

Stability is not possible bcoz of its un-natural backup. The more hashpower someone have obviously he can mine more bitcoin and the more someone have means Market of Crypto is in there hand. If they dump big chunk of bitcoin same day market can fall down.

Reliability some how achieved due to opensource , but still under doubt due to attacks which network is facing in everyday life. Its still a code platform so reliability will remain in Question even if it get achieved.

The kids are very sharp supposed if you teach them right method how to make money through Bitcoin, They will find an easy way to make bitcoin means they will choose to gamble to make bitcoin. Yes, the kids will not concentrate on hard work they need easy work and money. In Bitcoin, the gambling is the only easy way to make money. I will not suggest kids learn about bitcoin in early age.

Yes introducing bitcoin to kids might lead to many unwanted consequences as adults also facing such consequences after getting involved in bitcoin ecosystem.

bitcoin do not have any negativity. although some weakness are there, which can be overcome. i think those parents who want their to learn about bitcoin as currency and how to use it, the its ok, but if they are teaching then how to earn money from it or how to invest it then it is not good. i think children need to complete their education first and when they enter in the practical life then they should learn trading and investment.

Indeed bitcoin do not have any negativity but some faucet owner made a faucet like a gambling for exampale many faucet using dice games and if kids playing faucet to get a free bitcoin, indirectly they have learned to gamble is not that a negative thing.

Well, we should select for them some website before letting them access it. If I had a child, I would avoid giving him some faucets which look like a dice or based on gambling. However, in fact, I do not like faucet at all because it is wasted of time and you can never earn anything from it. I would rather teach my kids how to setup a mining farm at home. It is more fun and effective

i think in such a little age they do not need to learn about faucet or any other such thing which tempt them  for earning money, because if once hey become addicted then it will become too much difficult for them to give attention to their study because then they will give more time to earning money and then they will start searching other ways of earning bitcoin.

currently bitcoin is just like business and job, i think if we will put our children in this fiend in their early ages it will be a kind of child labour and UNO is currently world on child labour preventing people people from child labour. therefore i think child should complete their education first and after that they can take part in business both online and real business.

Just tell your kids that bitcoin is just like another kind of money and the only difference is, it is virtual meaning that you can only have that other kind of money on the internet or on your device. You don't need to tell to your kids the different terms or complicated topics because there is possibility that they will not understand what you're saying, so tell the things in the simplest way you know then you will be good in explaining or teaching bitcoin to kids.

Kids are just kids and for me they dont need to know every details about bitcoin, explaining them that its a virtual currency and can only be use online is enough. im telling my kids what bitcoin is but i dont need to explain how im earning through it.

It is simply by taking them inot answering or playing games with free bitcoins then slowly develop and open their mind about investment or savings .Kids are smart and in fresh mind so it is better to teach them how to earn money in a younger age that they will use and to be a good man in the future .

Dude, I guess it not yet appropriate to teach kids to use bitcoin, but to introduce is it is good, you know earning bitcoin is thru computer or internet access, which is if kids learn to earn and have it on their own, they will be stock in one corner to earn it, make some money thru computers that may cause to it poor eye sight. And one more thing is when they learn it, they come out to some curiosity that may leads to them to gamble since it is easy to access gambling using bitcoin and do not ask too much regarding to age of the player.

if your kids understand about bitcoins just because of saying that than it is a good thing. but I don't think describing bitcoin is easy in few words.. your kids may ask if bitcoin is a currency than  how to use it how to earn and safe it.. lots of things there which need to be explained to them.

Good point about the eye sight thing. Although making them see there is something else out in the internet to where might help them someday when they are on their own. The gambling part is really a hard task for them not to go to it. You can block this websites but still there are some that might get through. I suggest just let them know what is bitcoin for starters get them some knowledge and wait them grow for the earning part.

Because children have good memory, if we have a task to teach them, than only few easy things are here to teach the children and faucets and games are best for kinds. Other than faucets and video games for children, i will recommend if we give incentive to kids for getting good grades or on small competition and these incentive should be paid in bitcoins. In this way not only children education will not suffer and at same time they will be able to earn some good bucks without much extra effort.

Kids is different from the adults. They have an unlike habbit. The kids has more in playing because they don't understand already what is our purpose to live. So teaching kids about bitcoin is an easy task because sometimes they lack concentration so you need to teach them slowly and teach the bitcoin related gaming also. In that way you could teach kids.

I think that is not a good idea to explain to them that bitcoin is a type of currency, why? I think children will not get confused if you will explain about the concept of bitcoin in the same way as we explain about other money to them they will also learn about it as they learn about money like fiat. But at the early stage of their life we do not need to tell them about its starting and about its earning method as they will not want to hear about that and then for them bitcoin will be boring.

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

Like on this  forum, 5-10 years old can learned how it works or how forum make money for you or how you will work on forum that will let you earned, if child want such as good future he knows what he will do for his life but aren't we can't control them to play cause they are a CHILDREN like us on our childhood, for me let them enjoy first the things on life and maybe don't teach them, let their talent,skills,learnings,knowledge and etc follow it, even if facing reality that we need money.  

The answer is: told them that they are only playing on internet while they are earning their money so they can be the CHILD that actually a child that needs to play.

bitcoin is using for trading and other means of earning money therefore children do not need to learn about bitcoin. they should try to complete their study first and after that if they want to learn about bitcoin then it is ok but in fact first they need to complete their study .

I dont really think that bitcoin is easy to explain on kids because there is so many complicated things in bitcoin though and it is not that simple as fiat currency. I think it is higher chance to be scam rather than in fiat, more over if this is done by kids, there will be a lot of scamming things occur

It's very early to teach the kids about Bitcoin, because being a kid is to enjoy their childhood not to think how they will earn money, if their teenager then its okay but kids? no, I totally disagree. This kind of business is very complicated for them and if we teach them in their early age, maybe as they grow up they also think about money which is wrong.
