In order to tell the children about Bitcoin, it is necessary to use simple, understandable words. I would explain this way: this is a new generation of currency, which is widespread, it does not accumulate in any particular center. Bitcoin is created and works only on the Internet. Noone controls Bitcoin, noone commands it and noone orders it what to do. In order to get Bitcoin you need to come up with a complicated program for your computer. That's what Bitcoin is.

for kids.. there is time for everything. i would let them know of bitcoin in basic terms though a game, simple notions. the rest will do life and their natural curiosity
It is not necessary to teach kids about digital currencies even bitcoin, I mean let them experience the word without knowing this kind of things. Learning digital currencies means that they will be learning a lot especially in the side of the economy making their lives more serious and take their freedom as a innocent child. Let them know it in their own ways, we do not need to force them even if it is giving us good profit. 100 percent agree on you....my daughter 11 yrs old looking at me while i doing trading she ask me what's that mom. i told her am doing trading she had a lot of question to ask which hard for me to explained due to her very young mind. i just told her don't worry baby soon you will understand what is crypto all about. We don't actually force them to learn bitcoin, we just make sure that we get their interest in this kind of market. What I mean is that, let them observe you while doing the transactions. Children learn so fast nowadays, especially that we are already in the digital era. If it happens that bitcoin will be mandatory to use in the next coming years, your knowledge in bitcoin will be the kids of next generation's edge. Just explain about it to them little by little. No need to search for ways to teach it to them.

This is a very difficult task because in doing so you have to be extremely docile. Show them the power of btc and trace a timeline by raising all forms and payment models throughout history, concluding by showing that everything has evolved.

The good way to teach children to use bitcoin is to tell them that it's good to do it and they will earn a great deal to make them use bitcoin. they can still make money just by posting or whatever. They can also make this entertainment while playing a computer. and they can use it until they grow old. because if they continue this until they grow old, they will have a lot of money.
Kids are the base of our future and if they involve in bitcoin then bitcoin will become very famous throughout the whole world and the best way of bitcoin to teach to kids is to add some topics in their courses of school so that they can get basic information about bitcoin.

It is good to teach them but don't force them and i guess bitcoins will not going to be at school because it may cause a fraud etc.. Its better to teach if they wanted to learn and some people or students also don't like this thing so thats the better.

is it only me suggest tell them what is blockchain and cryptocurrency only when they become a teen, about 11-15 years old. just explain them what it is and tell them it is changing the world, or they might have access with these information before you tell them, it is better to let them explore

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.htmlThis article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money". ...what other ideas come to mind? It is possibe to teach bitcoin to children because they can get more income to buy what they want instead of playing arround without pay. So it is good occupation to give to a child to make them more progresser in advance when they wánt to have money.

Wow. Don't you think kids should enjoy their time as being kids first? But, if he or she is already interested, possibly finding a tutorial video on BTC can work well with them.
First we have to teach kids the technology which is also the requirement of the modern age. With the help of technology we can teach them about bitcoin very easy. Just if they becom familiar with computer and they can type with keyboard, then teaching them first about bitcoin forum then it all is good way. Thus they will work on the bitcoin forum and they will get some money and thus their interest will be rising.

For me, the best way to teach bitcoin to kids is to teach them first the basics on how bitcoin works. You do not need to start on the complicated things because somehow kids always stars on basics. Then after you explain how bitcoin works tell them how they will earn it and what are the advantages of using and working bitcoins. And later on as my suggestion too, let them to explore things on their own so that they will understand every things about bitcoin.

Kids - and about 99% of adults...- need a basic financial education, as they have no idea what money really is and how to earn and manage it. Of course, is would be a good idea to learn about bitcoin and blockchain, but... first the basics! :-)

If they want to learn the basics I can say it's easy if they know how to use computer and search in the internet. With the willingness one can make things possible and since bitcoin is very popular now, you can find a lot of relevant information that would be helpful for a person to easily understand.

Teaching kids about bitcoin might be useless because they are still unaware of what is happening in the reality and they do not care about investment. What to teach kids is how to use money wisely and earn and save it for better needs. How to do that is get their attention by bringing them games or toys or by showing them enjoyable videos. Time will come when they are matured enough to understand something about finance and they will be ready to learn about bitcoin.

may teach a child about bitcoin depending on how old he is, if he knows about technology and can use the internet maybe we can teach it, but I think children better focus for school and we can teach it about the benefits of saving

Yes, introducing bitcoin to a child is a difficult thing to do, children prefer to play and do fun things rather than learn something as complicated as bitcoin, maybe we should wait for the right time to introduce bitcoin to them.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are still a mystery to most adults, so teaching children how they work may seem a strange ambition.

Even teaching bitcoin to teenagers is not easy. It's still difficult to teach something that they're obviously not interested. I have tried it teaching bitcoin with my live in partner's niece. Unfortunately, she doesn't like it coz it's complicated and it's not her forte. I did not force her to do so. Maybe it can be easy to teach young ones about bitcoin if they're into technology or they have an idea or knowledge about technology and not just social media. They are the ones who can easily understand bitcoin just like my younger brother who already know bitcoin before I told him about it.
