I don't think its necessary in the near future, cuz I can see most jobs will pay in bitcoin, maybe in the future Cheesy

But right now, I won't quit my day job then go full time on bitcoin. I am not earning big with bitcoins, just enough for some snacks and stuffs for pleasure.

Bitcoins are a convenient currency, there's no doubt on that, but investing in bitcoins can be a risk too..it can be your best decision or worst decision. Now, if your investment on bitcoins fails, then you will obviously have a great loss.
So, bitcoins are Good, but going full time on them is still insecure, and you need to think about it twice!..

Maybe one day, but for now I miss some stability in bitcoin. Although the price has reached it's bottom at 180, I want to see some big multinationals step in. This will give usage, purpose and prosperity on both the short and long term.
As I've read in news sometime somewhere DELL and some other multinationals already started to implement BTC into their system., so a few big names already started on this, maybe it can be a safe decision from there side. If BTC becomes a widespread currency they will have a huge advantage because they were part of the story from the beginning

People saying they can quit their real life, into the world job and only work from home in front of the computer should get a reality check. Sure telecommuting is possible for some jobs but budget cuts to companies have left those employees out of work lately as thy were seen to others they use to work with as the "shadow workers".
I would say bitcoin is more like a side job that you can make a fair bit with if you are good at your craft. but can not 100% rely on it to make a steady stream of income in order to survive. Just my opinion in view of the  stage we are at now.

Yeah getting a steady stream of income is easy, but maintaining it requires a different skillset, good investing, innovating etc.

You also need some kind of security and in my perception, surviving with a bitcoin company is close to impossible.

At present, to be a pure bitcoin company and survive is very difficult. The bitcoin industry is too small. If it is in 10 years, a bitcoin service company might survive. So if you establish a company now, you need to burn a lot of cash to become an established company.

Indeed that's true. It takes a lot of effort and thrive to get through the first few years of setting up a company.

It is not a good idea for me. My earnings in bitcoin is not yet stable and I have mouths to feed. So I am still very reliant on my day job's paycheck. When the time comes that my bitcoin earnings can support my family, then I will consider leaving my day job and focus full time on bitcoin. Until that day, doing tasks for BTC would remain my side jobs.

Yup that is really true. Better just save bitcoin as saving and the usd just for paying something.

Ofcourse save some dollars. Because you never know what will happen with Bitcoin.

I will quit my day job when my Bitcoin earnings are more than my day job and give my best to increase the earnings. I work 4 hours a day on Bitcoin and I work for a Media company. As of now my day job pay check is 5 times than my bitcoin earnings. But it is not wise to compare this( day job 8 hours - bitcoin 4 hrs). I am setting up few business based on Bitcoin, when those give successful result I will quit my day job.

Why not using both of them, personally i would not quit my job for bitcoin.
Only if the salary would be higher and the job would be easier.
If you concern is to invest in bitcoin then receiving the salary through bitcoin, that would be perfect. Mostly for online people.

Guess this is the right path to follow. I am stacking up my BTC and converting only to fiat on emergency situations. I am also trying to understand the art of trading so I can stack up for more BTC while waiting for the price to rise up to the moon.

One thing you'll DEFINITELY need to full time on Bitcoin is your day job, so don't quit!

This gives quite a good idea about digital currency. Don't quit your day job until you have a proper business in Bitcoin Ecosystem.

Or as much money in bank accounts that enough for the rest of your life Smiley In that case you can bravely quit your daily job if you want, and start to work in the BTC ecosystem, if you don't risk your savings.
