India indeed is playing excellent cricket nowdays. but more importantly we need world cup from here. I just hope that indian team don't take things for granted. We lost 2 test series because of this.

It's another debate that bowling quality level and batting mindset changed drastically in world cricket. Or should I say going down. Indian bowling unit doing opposite.

We should not compare previous generation with current generation of players. There was the time when every batsman used to be technical sound no matter be it red ball or white ball .  ball moving or not. But now I don't see any technical sound batsman in world cricket. Except handful players.

If english pitches gets flat in this world cup then india is ahead of every team by miles due to gun batting lineup and tested quality bowlers. Otherwise I have my doubts.

South Africa didn't won the world cup yet but they used to be most strongest team of world cricket but now there are much stronger when compared to the old team so chances of making it really questionable for me.

Champions trophy final was just a bad day for india. I considered it as fluke by pakistan with no disrespect. My favs is england and after that india. Australia comes under - underdog- bracket and pakistan as usual unpredictable. Don't have much confidence in proteas and kiwis. They are strong team but still.

South Africa didn't won the world cup yet but they used to be most strongest team of world cricket but now there are much stronger when compared to the old team so chances of making it really questionable for me.

South Africa had their best time when Hansie Cronje (RIP Hansie) was their captain. I saw their best team that time. However I don't understand this South Africans luck. Even when they played their best circket, they could not win the cup. Two times (if I can recall) they were failed to test their nerves and both of the times it was Australia who killed them.

I still remember the semi final where it needed 1 run to go to the final but Allan Donald and Lance Klusener messed it up. Donald did not see anything but just ran for the run where Klusener was still standing. It was a pain to watch.

I don't really mind Shoaib leading the team, after all, he's the most senior player in the team and more importantly very calm person during the pressure. having said that I still believe that Sarfaraz should lead the team in the World. I don't really mind Shoaib leading the team, after all, he's the most senior player in the team and more importantly very calm person during the pressure. having said that I still believe that Sarfaraz should lead the team in the World. Pakistan are not doing well under Sarfaraz anyway which is why they need to replace him with Shoaib as captain as soon as possible.

The comments said by Sarfarz was just unacceptable. They are international players and Sarfarz is an experienced player and still making such comments put the team and the coach under bad impression . They should be respecting each players irrespective of their language , Color etc . Children use to look at  him as a role model and with this example people might not like him anymore .

Was it in English or in their native Language. If it's in English then don't mind. Most of the Pakistani players struggle in English and I noticed most of the time they don't even know what they are saying when they speak English.

You are right Sarfraz is not a good choice but in Pakistan we have no good enough system to replace him here most of time we are going by bad governance so we have to keep him for some time otherwise he is really bad to lead team and his last controversy bringing him more down he need to learn some ethics as now he is leading 200 million peoples.

We cannot say this is fraudulent system its all in political peoples controlling and they have own choices or groups so PCB is one of worst boards like Sri Lanka in ICC many former cricketers calling for reforms but nothing happening even now we have former Pakistan Cricket team Captain as Prime Minister may be we have these reforms but going to take some long time.

This is really bad for entire cricket especially for the Pakistan team. If you pick wrong people and leave the right one because of grouping and not for deserving talent/potion then new comers and talents will eventually get frustrated. They will lose hope and will not give their best to become the next Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Shoaib Akhtar  or Sayed Anwar, Injamamul Haque, Yousuf Youhana.

Cricket is a biggest political ground so don't expect to be successful only if you are talented,you need some background as well but some of the englishmen were selected only based on skills but Asian cricket team involves lot of political recommends.And it is very less now considered to be before because of IPL were only skills shines.

In fact, until 2015, he was badly victimized by this system. The pair of Shahid Afridi (as the captain) and Waqar Younus (as the coach) did their best to destroy Sarfaraz's career, but fortunately, Sarfaraz's extraordinary performance in domestic matches saved his career.

When compare between 2 teams , Pakistan has played better cricket in last 6 months leaving the Sarfarz issue aside . Well you can say SL has just not being the side after those legends players have retired from the international cricket and team is not able to come back from that space. On other hand Pakistan has played and won few matches too .

After Sangakkara and Jayawardene getting off, Srilanka is really struggling with their bad performance. In the current team, there is no replace for them while Pakistan have some good players. Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Khan, Fakhar Zaman are really good level batsmen and of course their bowlers are doing pretty well. The only problem with Pakistan is lack of consistency and their internal politics. Other than this, Pakistan could be a good team for World Cup, still I think they are because you know in a big competition, big teams always play better. I am confident that if Pakistan have a change in their captain, they can play well.

Srilankan cricket team failed to make players in the meanwhile of other legend players were growing up and now they are lacking openers and captain.Pakistan players have ability but they are not playing as a team and support each others gameplan to execute.
