Did not expected the IPL first match could turn out to be the one sided match where CSK beating RCB easily by 7 wickets and started their winning game from the first match itself comprehensive win and winning by a huge margin too.

Everything happened because of that pitch,even CSK batsmen were struggling to score but when they know where to reach they just took the match all the way to end and won it comfortably.

RCB team didn't predict the pitch condition that is why they came up with one main spinner and one part time spinner whereas CSK played with 3 specialist spinner and 2 part time spinners.

Kohli and Dhoni were much aware about the pitch, but the winning of toss by Dhoni paved the way to the winning of the match. Prior to the match Dhoni stated clearly on choosing the bowling first. CSK on its home ground gives added advantage to its winning.

Definitely Kohli don't read the pitch,you can watch the speech of Kohli at the time of toss,he wanted to bowl fist just because of dew factor but he ever thought this is an extremely turning pitch.

Moreover, it's a common fact for RCB to score lower. In last IPL, if I'm correct, they performed badly in some matches and got huge success in other matches, I mean no average was there.

For progressive matches we will have to practice allot as, players are some of them new so for IPL and PSL they will have to play well as it is not only the team but the players yes to contribute from countries and they work well according to wise coordination of the captain, so hope next time they will perform well.

Not sure how the team reaction would be and will the entire unit of the Punjab would agree to the decision of Ashwin if it was his alone or was it captain's call to look into it. Quite possible that some of the players in the team itself might not wanted this to happen unless Ashwin had given a prior warning before .

Need of 27 runs in 12 balls and they had lost all their hitting batsmen,they are going to be losing way after that huge start.

How the heck is it unfair? He was out of the freaking crease and that was a smart move from Ashwin and it turned the entire match around. There is no rule against this which is why it is fair in every aspect.

Was stunned though seeing Punjab turn the match in their favor. RR literally lost 6 wickets for 16 runs. Superb stuff by Punjab.

Its just a sport so you need to win from your skill,taking an wicket without bowling a ball doesn't look convincing to me.

I didn't watch the match but when someone takes wickets like that then in cricketing terms its called "street smart move" from bowler.

But after looking at highlights it looks like that was the first time Butler went outside the crease, before the release of the ball and Ashwin or any other bowler didn't

give him any warning before so definitely against the spirit of the game.

Ashwin literally turned the match around thanks to that move which is completely fair even if it was against the spirit of the game.

Ashwin played it smartly which is why I respect his move and helped his team win the game. Buttler should have been more careful.

I agree that he is one of the best spinner for India and he is holding some of the world records as well and you know he was the number one test cricket all rounder but when the captain changes everything changes for Ashwin too and he still have no place for this world cup since all the place were obtained by other spinners.

Delhi started well but 4 quick wickets jolted then and now they are 128/6 in 17.4 overs . They would reach maximum of 150 which would not be enough to contain the CSK batsman . Seems Delhi will take some time to open their winning account .

CSK is the most balanced team out there. It has the best Indian (Raina, Dhoni, Rayudu, Jadeja.etc) as well as the overseas players (Watson, Bravo.etc) and the backing from financial heavyweights. And for now the spin bowling spot has been taken care of by Harbhajan.

You can check the weather forecast for a starter? i think 20 over a game in 2 innings is very much possible, 12th over is in progress.

Try betting sometimes on the individual players too instead of a team if you can find option online.
