I don't think so, we need dollar for our daily needed. To pay what we want. But for me bitcoin is for business porpuse. Your need to invest to grow you money, and it will become a real money like dollar that you can pay to the store .
I agree to that. Dollar works online and offline and it is suited for our daily need and expenses and that is why it is not a good idea to rely on bitcoin fully because we will experience some troubles if we are going to just rely on bitcoin. Bitcoin will not replace dollar because dollar is already wide spread and it is the universal currency so i don't think that bitcoin has any chance. Indeed, Bitcoin in this century cannot replace Dollar, it still very young and not clear for creates a revolution like that. Even Gold, it also does not has chance replace Dollar too! Currency is a great invention of mankind, do not easy for overthrow it  . |

I think it is not replace the dollar for bitcoin. Beacuse dollar is a national money, it is very valuable, we know that bitcoin is a very valuable coin. But this coin is not approve in the other country this is the reason does not replace the dollar.

They're just wondering if it would be possible since they the same standing as dollars. Bitcoin being in the top spot as of all the cryptos and dollars being in the top spot for the Fiats. And one of the Advantages of Bitcoin over dollars is that it is a world currency, although dollars is also an international currency even so those countries that have dollars still have discrepancies in the US Dollars so its not that uniform compare to Bitcoin I guess. |

Dollar is a strong currency and we know that bitcoin is quite impossible to replace it. Unless the Trump government will start to say that bitcoin is better and people will have sort of doubt about dollars replacement. But if bitcoin will be backed up by the American government then who knows if it will be able to replace $. |

The monetary system is governed and therefore BTC doesnt fit well into the picture. The BTC will be like gold the asset which keep the value. |

You may be right but I think nothing is impossible in this world. You can expect anything to happen in future. The way Bitcoin is earning so much fame in this much of time, I think it is not a big deal to replace dollar. I think if it happens, things won’t remain the same as they are now. You can expect something better then. You have rightly said. You can expect anything to happen in the future. The way Bitcoin is gaining popularity in the market world, there are very much chances that we can one day hear this thing that Bitcoin have replaced Dollar. That time will be like the golden time for the ones who believed in it. |

I don't think that Bitcoin will replace Dollar in the near future, but after 50 years or so who knows ? it is possible. Governments and most people nowadays keep using fiat as main currencies and it will need really long time to make crypto currencies as first choice for them.

I think it will be in the future, maybe after 10 years or 20 years. American dollar is very open when it becomes to other things that is going to be the start of our future. And besides in America there are some stores who accept bitcoins as a payment. And i think that is the start of bitcoins being popular in the states. It is also featured in a mainstream media which informs people the existence of them. With that things I can say that bitcoins will soon be ab official currency and they can even replaced dillar if they are that successful. |

As I said earlier, I don't think that bitcoin will replace the dollar as a global reserve currency. However, there is a small chance that one day it could be more accepted or "valuable" than the dollar (I don't mean 1 dollar vs. 1 bitcoin, of course). If the US defaults on its debt, which, while considered unthinkable at the moment, will become more and more likely as we keep spending beyond our means, the dollar would lose its reserve currency status, and bitcoin might, in some ways, become more mainstream.

Bitcoin is only the best online (internet) but it will never replace the dollar. Yeah it is getting more popular because of its very high value and we know that we can make profits in the short period of time. Unlikely, US dollar is used legally and accepted around the world.

I dont think dollar will replace in the near future because it has already established its significant along stockmarket. Globally recognized and if ever this currency change into bitcoins.. there should be deep discussion between pros and cons in the house of senate to decide the final destination of these matters..

I don't think it will replace the dollar at all. I think t will just be a other paying method to buy some stuff.
Because it has a really high value so you would have to buy things by card.

i think no because dollar is well known currency world wide but bitcoin known only through internet. the chance is very low because not all people know what is bitcoin but dollar is very popular. |

I don't think that will ever happen because bitcoin will stay a cryptocurrency and dollars will stay real money otherwise how would you be able to buy bitcoins with bitcoins that is impossible and how can you sell bitcoins for real money right? and not for bitcoins because that is impossible.

no, this will unlikely gonna happen. yes there are many people are using bitcoin but not everyone is using it, beside there are people from the government that will surely go against the idea to use bitcoin as currency.

no soon , but it is possible , as bitcoin itself created as the next gen of money. people will have an easy access through their money with bitcoin as you can execute transaction anywhere anytime without complicated rules like what happened in fiat/dollar right now. we just need more time to make it happened. i believe so . |

Less sure but chances are it could happen. Even if it will happening of course it's not for soon, for sure is still a lot of times until it can happening i guess. Indeed bitcoin increasingly rising from the development of its value seen from before to this day. And indeed it seems now the popularity of all the advantages from bitcoin can match the dollars.

This would be great. USD is used now for international trade and is under FED control. Bitcoin is on the other hand not under control from anyone. I would love to see btc used as basis for international trade.
