That day will never come, its impossible for bitcoin to replace dollar ever in future, dollar is the most popular currency worldwide used and accepted everywhere. It will hold its power in future too.

Slowly and gradually the day is coming nearer. Although its look impossible but anything can be possible and very soon that bitcoin will replace Dollar, at least it will reduce the use of Dollar. Because in modern time i think that all the people of the world will give important to online currency as compare to fiat currency, which will then become an old idea.

bitcoin will never replace with cash or paper money. it is still slow and fees are very high. so it is not possible to use bitcoin instead of cash during daily shoppings. maybe there will be a faster alternative coin in the future that we can use instead of cash but i dont think it will be bitcoin.

I dont think it will happen first of all many people who dont know how to use bitcoin,internet and also gadgets then how they can use bitcoin if ever it will replace the Dollar? second government dont want to use it and other countries want to banned bitcoin then how could it replace the dollar if government dont want bitcoin,right?

Nothing will replace Euro and dollar in my opinion . that CEO don't know what he is talking about if you ask me
Bitcoin may become mainstream and used on the whole world but nothing will be replaced the original currencies ,that's for sure .

But I do not think so. Bitcoin is an online currency. When it's price increases, it becomes more valuable than gold. In the future, Bitcoin will be as precious as diamonds.

I think 15 years will not be enough to make the dollar disappear and be replaced bitcoin. And I think it will be difficult because the government will not easily accept it.

Bitcoin will never beat any fiat money system a mode of payment. Yes, bitcoin have some potential being a good payment system but it is not possible to replace fiat money. The flexibility of fiat money and its characteristic of being stable which is a better choice of money. It is not good to have a payment of its being unstable.

I don't think that government will make btc their main currency there is only chance for btc to get accepted everywhere but it doesn't mean that the government will make it a legal tender.On the first hand btc is a digital currency which does not have a physical form nor its value remains the same so it is not something which can be used as legal tender .It is infact foolish to think so i completely disagree with your statement btc replacing dollar.

I don't think it will ever happen in near future. The chances of bitcoin replacing any fiat let alone dollar is almost negligible.A small, unorganized community of bitcoin users cannot make much difference.On the other hand there is a strong possibility that governments may openly come out against bitcoin and declare it illegal.If that happens,bitcoin will die a natural death.

The payment system will change if most of the people in our society are now using digital currency. The cashless society will only happen if the people will prefer to use cryptocurrencies than fiat money. Our future money depends on our hands.

It seems unrealistic to happen anytime soon. Bitcoin need, first, to reach a greater number of users, to then become mainstream. There are many people who don't understand how Bitcoin works, because they are accustomed to old and outdated systems. But I'm sure the big day will come!

It's not going to do it anytime soon or likely even within 15 years, but it could in our lifetime I reckon. I think more economic instability in certain countries and maybe another financial collapse/crisis will happen soon rather than later and that could bring in many new people to bitcoin which could have a snowball effect.

Why will it not? If in the future bitcoin keeps going up and fiat keeps going down which is what happens when they print more of it on a whim people might wise up. Money should grow over time not devalue and bitcoin could solve this and that's what's great about a deflationary currency.

Speaking of currencies, they are established by our government to have their own kind of money. There are many countries but we have different currency with corresponding value. If bitcoin crypto currency replace the dollars it might not be happen since it will affects the other countries currency.

I think Bitcoin will not replace the centralized currency. There is no sense in this. He has his place in the system of currencies and payment systems. This will be a good alternative.

There is absolutely no way that a decentralized, and unregulated currency like Bitcoin would replace existing centralized monetary systems such as the Dollar which is backed by a government. The Dollar has managed to gain trust among people and businesses worldwide, as it is a regulated medium of exchange. On the other hand, Bitcoin has gained traction too but is having a hard time trying to reach a large scale of users because of its scalability issues. Not to mention, its transactions are irreversible and there's practically no way to claim your funds back once they're stolen.

However, Bitcoin has many good characteristics which are superior to fiat currency. While this is true, it may not replace the Dollar but instead live alongside the government-backed currency. In the end, we'll be able to experience the convenience of using the decentralized properties of Bitcoin, while we use the Dollar for our everyday purchases. Just my thoughts
