I do believe the same, I think it will not totally replace dollar as these coins are backed up by dollar. What could happen is that the increased use of these coins will only allow bitcoins popularity and usage to rise while dollar in the back stage yet doesn't it will be lost because everything is attached to it.

I think that for each industry will have its own currency, and bitcoin will be an exchange medium between these currencies.

I also believe that it can replace in the future because the cryptocurrency today is in the mainstream and even countries are banning bitcoins because they are scared that more people will turn their focus on the cryptocurrency more than working on the corporate world.

This is never going to happen. US dollar was accepted by every country and as we see today some of the countries are considering to ban bitcoin. There will never be enough confidence in bitcoin in order to be accepted as major currencies such as dollars, euros, yens.....

I think Bitcoin will be never replace dollar because bitcoin is a digital currency and it is use for online work in worldwide, but dollar is a real currency and it is use hand by hand and that's why everyone can easily buy and sell from it, so there is a main difference between dollar and bitcoin, but the main point is that bitcoin is more valuable than dollar and everybody wants earn bitcoin for best future,

It is not about being popular or not. Bitcoin can take a few more years to replace dollar. Howver, the main issue here is that bitcoin is too slow and the price of bitcoin is fucking high. Therefore, it is hard to make a microtransaction with bitcoin. I believe that other cryptocurrency will replace dollar, not bitcoin

Just think about 15 years ago there wasn't even normal internet, we connect through dial-ups for 56k. 15 years is a very long time considering how fast technology changes. Bitcoin is the new form of money so it might not replace but it become a very good alternative to dollar by masses soon.
There is no way to believe bitcoin could replace a giant fiat currency dollar. But I could agree with your opinion about bitcoin possible to be a good alternative for dollar. It is very far to say that any physical currency can be replaced by cryptocurrency. I do not think bitcoin will ever replace the dollar. Bitcoin will definitely be accepted more as a payment when it is stable

Bitcoin can never overtake dollar, not even in future as dollar is considered to be the king of currency and it's not easy for bitcoin to replace such a strong currency like dollar.

Yes right, the dollar is protected by the strongest country of the USA and many countries will support the dollar rather than bitcoin, with a strict ban from USA it will make bitcoin disappear even though bitcoin users are more dominant.

Replacing the dollar with anything including bitcoin is an impossible thing, as long as the USA state is still a super power then the dollar position will be safe and nothing to rival let alone replace.

IMHO, the only possibility that bitcoin will replace dollar is that New World Order won and took over the block chain, so bitcoin will be the only currency and every movement of money will be under control. Bitcoin should be about freedom, but may be THIS is the real plan. We'll see.

I also believe that it can replace in the future because the cryptocurrency today is in the mainstream and even countries are banning bitcoins because they are scared that more people will turn their focus on the cryptocurrency more than working on the corporate world. One of the reason why Bitcoin won't replace the dollar is because moderate and conservative investors are hesitant to jump into this new fad. If you manage a multi-million dollar portfolio you're going to want some proof that Bitcoin isn't going to be a passing fad. The dollar has been a stable currency for decades, whereas Bitcoin just came into existence.

I think many countries have not even heard about the bitcoins, so paying in bitcoins as a mode of payment is very difficult and it will take a long time to happen, but dollar is widely used and widely accepted in every country, bitcoin is new technology and dollar is traditional, bitcoin will more stronger in future but I don't think it can replace dollar worldwide. As dollar is the universal currency and many of the country use it universally even world bank gave you loan in dollar so, its very hard.

Even bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency i dont think that bitcoin has a big chance to replace dollar in the future, and for me a lot of people loves bitcoin but dollar is the strongest currency and everyone in this world knows and definitely supporting dollar so it has no chance that bitcoin can replace it.

I don't think so bitcoin would not replace dollar in the near future. Dollar is the strongest currency and it would remain so. But more and more business institutions using bitcoin and the number is growing everyday. And btc is very volatile in order to use daily usage.
Agree. The Dollar is the strongest currency in the world, and has a large amount of people using it because it's backed by a government. On the other hand, Bitcoin is not backed by anything, it's extremely volatile, and its value could drop to zero in the future. Given that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not stable forms of payment, the Dollar would still be used among many people worldwide for years to come. In this sense, both cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies like the Dollar will exist for quite a long time. Since cryptocurrencies are decentralized, whereas fiat currencies are centralized, there will always be that level of separation between both in the mainstream world. One could compliment another, by allowing people to benefit from decentralization characteristics (such as greater security, reliability, and no middleman) while at the same time taking advantage of regulatory compliance (such as protection against theft, ID verification, and more). Therefore, in the future, people will have the choice whenever to use cryptocurrencies for their daily payments or fiat currencies for the same purpose. Just my opinion

Bitcoin is not backed by dollars in my understanding, everyone are involved in the price movement so we cannot determine what countries really do contribute and using bitcoin we are like using one currency. The question if it will replace bitcoin? the answer is simply now because they have different features, bitcoin is decentralized and dollar is not.

Exactly. At current price movements, it's nearly impossible to determine whenever Bitcoin could replace the dollar or not. The high volatility it has, kills its purpose for being used as an everyday currency. Not to mention, its high fees and slow transactions makes its dream of becoming a mainstream currency far from becoming a reality. In this sense, Bitcoin may never replace the dollar as it has the issues mentioned previously, and most of all, it is a decentralized currency which threatens current banks' financial system.

I don't think it will be going to happen in the future. As I see dollar is the other currency that can also make bitcoin grow, I mean many people are investing using dollar to make an assets online and also all investors are wanted to earn dollar to make their investment grow, and I think it will be hard to bitcoin if there's no dollar to invest

If bitcoin replace dollar many early bitcoin adopters who have lots of bitcoin in store will dictate the world economy on their terms.Bitcoin supply is limited, those who have good amount of bitcoin in possession will manipulate the market and become a self proclaimed governments.I hope bitcoin never ever replace any fiat
You are not correct about Bitcoin. It has the potential to replace not only dollar but any currency as said by the CEO of Twitter and Square Jack Dorsey that Bitcoin is a future currency. Japan is also an example.
