This is not impossible that dollar will be replaced by biticoin or other crypto because now internet is getting more popular. But I hope bitcoin never ever replace any fiat because we still need fiat money.

Actually if bitcoin can replace the dollar is a good thing, it's a sign of bitcoin has been accepted by all circles. But I do not think that will happen because the government of a country will no longer be able to control the financial movement, this is related to anonymous transactions on bitcoin.

I think in the future, the traditional currencies/fiat money and the cryptocurrencies will always be used together. I don't think that Bitcoin will replace Dollar. That it is impossible that Bitcoin will replace Dollar because as we can see both has different world
I think whenever bitcoin will never replace the dollar, this is because the dollar is supported and fully controlled by the super power state of USA, it will be easy for the USA government to make bitcoin useless and I hope they do not do it. |

In my opinion, it is legitimate if that opinion is justified. In addition, the opinion comes out of someone who has experienced as a banker. Of course the opinion may be out of the results of studies and analysis that he did.
Even if his opinion mentions in the next 3 or 5 years, I think it could be so.
If that's true, I think it's a positive thing for bitcoin development going forward. Certainly more and more people are interested in bitcoin itself. The impact is likely to replace the dollar is real.

I don't think "soon" but I do think after 15 years or so it is a definite possibility. "soon" i guess is a relative term.

It wont replace soon and that is because you also can see that Dollar is still many used by many people and that is not that bad because they dont know what Bitcoin is and that must change.
People that is using Bitcoin have to promote the coin more so more people will get to know about it and maybe also going to use it

Precisely, both belong to two different worlds, both has various contributions and useful in each world, both will have no affect each other, especially bitcoin, it's just a virtual currency and there are not too many governments likes. It will not compare or make any impact on the USD because the dollar is a currency that can be said is very popular when the country that created it have a strong influence on the economy, they will not let a currency that they did not create, replacing their money, it is an insult and nothing to be proud of |

Not preferably, obviously. From the price movements of Bitcoin in the past, a lot of platforms started to remove the payment of Bitcoin even in the platform of games like Steam. BTC is risky to accept because it is little by little fading away its price especially these days but I know that it will be making a comeback so we just need to wait. |

You are not correct about Bitcoin. It has the potential to replace not only dollar but any currency as said by the CEO of Twitter and Square Jack Dorsey that Bitcoin is a future currency. Japan is also an example. I don't think so because look bitcoin isn't yet fully accepted around the world and not all people have a tool in ordet to access it such a phone and pc. Maybe it could in the future or perhaps, it could become one of the new way to make transaction. Bitcoin was good at online transaction so I guess it will be the number 1 mode of payment online and dollar will be at physical store. |

Replacing the dollar with bitcoin is impossible, especially now that bitcoin is experiencing a downward trend, if this continues to happen then bitcoin will not be valuable and all users leave, there is no strong sign to replace the dollar let alone in a short time.

i dont think bitcoin will replace dollar only in 15 years. if bitcoin really can replace dollar, it will took longer time, more than 15 years. 15 years is to optimistic and bombastic.

I don't think bitcoin will replace dollar soon. And one more thing is it is impossible also because world's most of the trading is done through dollar. And the most essential commodity Petrol is traded only through Dollar only of it is not possible by bitcoin to replace dollar.

I'm not sure cryptocurrencies will replace dollar, it can probably be three types for now - paper money, cashless payment and digital money. What distinguishes crypto from other forms is that banks are absent in this case. Cryptocurrencies are not emitted by anyone. So, it's a possible alternative

The dollar is so popular in the most country so I don't think it will replace ever and a lot of people use dollars. They understand what dollar is a real money. For some people if they hear bitcoin they think is fake or they just don't know what it is. The most of them they don't know how to use so yeah. |

Bitcoin will never replace dollar or any other currencies in the future. It is still not considered by bank as a currency, and government are trying to regulate crypto exchanges. Its not that easy to convert currency from dollar into bitcoin because it will take a lot of changes in the economic system. Fiat is different from digital currencies, and lets see bitcoin as a separate entity from fiat.

I think and I believe. If I do not think Bitcoin will replace dollar soon, maybe I am not here. I know there is a small chance yet because the government may not agree and the Bitcoin network is still in developmental stage, but then we all need to change.

Everything is possible in this world, but it look like difficult in near future, actually USD is one of the most popular and stable fiat currency and most of the countries are also depending it for their economic where bitcoin is a new currency and still it has a lot of time to become so mature to replace bitcoin.
