Milan are still an unpredictable team in the league despite their huge victory over Napoli recently. They are an interesting team because they couldn't beat Empoli home this time.

With this inconsistency their job about preserving their place in top four will be pretty difficult. Actually nearly all the teams around Milan are experiencing the same thing these days. But I don't expect this to last until the end of the season for all of these teams. Milan aren't a weak team normally. We have all seen how they won the league title last season. They just need to make a bigger effort to be able to qualify for the Champions League again.

The decline in the best quality of several teams ranked 4th in the standings table does not mean that they have a focus for other competitions or they are more busy to show their best quality in other competitions.
Lazio are lucky to be able to take advantage of this situation to show their quality in several matches to win in the midst of the unstable performance of teams that dominate the top flight such as Inter, Ac Milan and Juventus.

In my opinion, it tends to be that a match fails to be utilized as best as possible because the game scheme and patterns that are carried out by their coach in dealing with their opponents do not go as well as possible, such as rotating players on a large scale which makes them lose their sharpness in that match.

Maybe someone has forgotten the results of one of last week's matches, that Atalanta, who are so favored, lost at home against visiting Bologna with a score of 0-2. This result has quite an impact on their current position in the standings which makes it even more difficult because they have to shift Inter and Milan first if they want to penetrate the top 4 of the standings. In the next match, Atalanta will have to play an away game against Fiorentina and I think Atalanta will again find themselves in a stalemate because Fiorentina is a pretty strong opponent.

Bologna cannot be underestimate because they have strong motivation when against strong teams and before Bologna has successfully to beat Atalanta they also has been beat another strong teams such as Fiorentina and Inter so basically Atalanta faced hard match and they can utilized the unconsistency of Atalanta to get the winning results and if we talking about Bologna last season they were finish on 13th under Sinisa Mihajlovic but everything was change when Thiago Motta arrived to this team and he can give positive impact for Bologna

The strongest defense in Serie A at the moment is Lazio's. They conceded only 20 goals in 29 matches. Due to the strong defense Lazio team is able to consistently play well in every match. Bologna's success in defeating Atlanta is indeed quite special because they did it as an away team, and this victory made them have a goal surplus of 2 in the standings so this fact shows that Bologna has problems that are evenly distributed in both the attack and defense parts so that they end up often getting bad results.
If they are able to compete in one of the European competitions then they must make real changes to the existing squad because if not they will only play in the group phase because they will face difficulties in winning so they will not qualify for the next round.

For juventus calibre ,I don't think conference league is enough,the top 3 already is solidify, napoli did an incredible job to create that gap in the first place. Thou from the beginning of the season I had so much hope on roma to challenge for the scudetto, but they missed out completely, glad they back in Champions league position,and I don't think mourinho will let that slip..lazio have also performed very well under Sarri,to be in second ,they have won the likes of roma and juventus already.

You're just like saying Juventus need to win streak because they only have 8 matches left

I'd realistic here, it's impossible for Juventus to win streak since they're not in a good perform and they need to be at least reach 6th position standings, they can have a chance to play in Europa league although they need to win the qualification first.

Don't hope too much, it's already near from the end of season.

Obviously it will be difficult to reach the top of the standings, at least Juventus can get into the top 4 to be able to get a UCL ticket, the defeat against Lazio hampered Juventus' journey so it takes more time to get into the top 4.

They break napoli record by demolished them 4-0 and few days after that held 0-0 draw by empoli with 23 attempts , only 4 of them on target , terrible stats. The inconsistent ac milan ruined it all ... they could have defend the title actually but yeah this is the only problem they have.

When talking about last season's title, I personally think it was a luck for Milan. Why, with a squad that is not much different from previous seasons, last season was brilliant. Inter also showed inconsistency in the last few matches which gave AC Milan the advantage at that time. This season, Milan returned to their previous form, showing a similar inconsistency. So, if Napoli wins, this is the result of Napoli's hard work in the last few seasons which has also shown inconsistency. Still not sure about the unbeaten record that Napoli got this season whether it's real or also lucky, we can see next season.

The gap between juventus to the ac milan as a team that placed in the 4th place was around 8 points. There are still 9 matches remaining worth 27 points. As long as juventus can consistently take full points from the remaining matches and a miracle will happen. Juventus had no choice.
There are two ways

* Winning all rest of matches.
* Winning europa league title.

Those ways are the only ways for juventus to be qualified for UCL. The gaps are so big but juventus are still having enough matches to make it happen. It's quite easy for juventus to make it happen as long as juventus will be consistently winning the game.
I hope that juventus will take a way to win europa league title as the best way to get a ticket into the UCL next season. Juventus sees that UCL spot is the most important thing right now.
