Fiorentina failed to win the match against Hull City which is one of the weak teams from England who are currently playing in the Championship League, some people certainly make Fiorentina as favorites but their game is not much better.

It was against a Manchester City with a highly rotated lineup though.    Otherwise I wouldn't expect Milan to be able to beat them. But of course I also admired Colombo's performance there, 2 goals. 

He has been loaned by Milan so far and he is a returnee for now. I assume he is doing his best to prove himself to the team to stay and fight for his place. Especially after Giroud has left, I think it is more possible.

Manchester City were on the pitch with their rotational squad, except for Jack Grealish, Ederson and Haaland. As I said above, so far Navas has been a very experienced goalkeeper, so with his ability and experience he will certainly make Monza better, but in my opinion, with his status as a free agent, of course he can choose to play at better club now, although being 37 years old but that doesn't really have an effect on a goalkeeper  if he is still able to maintain his reflexes and the alertness he has in guarding the goal, we all know how he has been able to become a pretty good goalkeeper at several different clubs although in the end he had to was eliminated at PSG after the arrival of Donnarumma, but to be honest at this time actually compared to joining Monza it might be more for Navas to end his career in the Arab League that way he will have better finansial when he retires.

I think Napoli's performance has been very good. The victory that has been obtained will increase the team's confidence in this season. I didn't watch their pre-season matches. And so far Napoli has only played against mediocre teams and they haven't played against Brest and Girona. I think these last two teams will be the proof whether Napoli has returned to its best performance or not. But in my personal opinion Napoli has become a better team. They managed to score more than 2 goals and have not conceded in 3 friendly matches. This is a good statistic and will be able to increase their confidence when playing against Girona and Brest.

Pre-season matches do not have any effect on the team in measuring strength but for individual players it is quite important especially for new players of course this can increase the players' confidence to face the match in the competition later.
I don't think AC Milan's victory over Man City is too much but I am quite amazed to see AC Milan's new players who can immediately adapt quickly with the team and make contributions, maybe that is a positive side that AC Milan gets in this pre-season match.

We have seen City not have great season for friendlies, does that mean that City will be bad this season? Of course not, they are going to be pretty good and we are going to see them go for a fifth in a row title as well, likely to get it too unless something unexpected happens. What that means, if City not being bad is a case after the friendly, then Milan not being awesome is the key on the other side as well. Don't get me wrong they are not that terrible, they can still do fine, I am just saying that we are not seeing anything that would be getting too bad of a result.

It has to be something that will take a while, so we should be considering how it could really impact Milans future, if they are doing fine now, that means that they are not in big trouble, like they are not missing any obvious positions, and they may do fine during the league.

We do not know how Inter will react to owner change, and Juventus with a new manager and a new system and not as good last year, so Milan may have a slight chance, but I am not saying they will do anything. My guess is that top three finish would be likely result once again, and that's not too bad, another UCL season for them, a good result.
