Yes you are right it is hard to know which team will be best in Serie A next season. Teams like Napoli and Inter Milan have had good and bad years. Now many top teams have new coaches which makes it even harder to predict. But we know that Napoli hiring Conte is big deal. He is great coach who has won many championships in Serie A. I also think he will make Napoli strong team again and maybe even lead them to another championship. He is good at motivating players and making smart decisions so I would not be surprised if Napoli does very well next season.

I also hope that there can be several teams that become strong next season in Serie A and also including teams like Napoli and others because with several new coaches filling the big teams in Serie A, of course it will make Serie A more interesting to watch because the competition could be even fiercer than last season. In addition, I also hope that the teams that were previously slumped in Serie A can rise better like AS Roma and also Napoli who will be trained well by Conte next season.

Even though some top teams have new coaches, basically the new coaches in question are good coaches who certainly have the ability and qualities to build and/or improve the quality and performance of the team to be even better. Milan with Paulo Fonseca, Juventus with Thiago Motta and Napoli with Conte. Indeed, it can be said that Conte is a coach who has had better success in winning trophies than the two coaches mentioned.

But despite this, the reality is that Thiago Motta also had very impressive results last season. I think I have similar opinion with you concerning the club that's likely to win the Italian Serie A next season and that's no the current champions if Italy. Inter Milan won the league last season with much points difference and I expected the other top clubs in the league to be very busy in the transfer market this summer but that's not been happening. Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli though have changed their managers, but that doesn't necessarily make much difference if you ask me.

It is probably not going to be possible for Juventus to actually compete for the title. Because yes they were able to get a new coach. But they were unable to actually get the players that they wanted. Especially now it looks like whichever player they are actually targeting are getting hijacked by other clubs.

Napoli is probably going to have a result that is not good as well. I wanted to say they will have a result that is worse but compared to the last season they might actually see some improvements. But still do not think they will compete for that title.

Inter should have another good season. I think they are counting on the players that they already have to have a good result again. I guess as the same squad did work once, they are not willing to make any big changes.

One very enjoyable fact about the serie A is that you cannot see any long stretch of dominance by any team, it's mostly that teams just gets to have this dominance awhile after which another team takes over the dominance awhile again and the rotation continues. When it comes to Roma, I don't see them making big transfers much. But I really appreciate that Dovbyk move.    Only 30 million euros for such a talent? It is a very cheap deal to me.

The Ukrainian player was amazing in Girona last year and Dnipro the year before. I think he will be successful in Roma too, he just needs a little patience. Juventus defeat in their preseason friendly game against Atletico Madrid didn't come as a surprise to me and that's because the club's new manager is still Thiago Motta is trying to find the playing style that'll bring out the best from his players. That being said, I think the club management needs to make few significant signings this summer since they've already listed out some players of the club they'll not want to continue with next season. I think the
quality of the  team is too weak to compete with other top Italian clubs. Thiago Motta with what he did at Bologna has shown that he can manage the best teams in Italy but he's not a magician that will improve a team of average players to conquer more quality players in one season.

Yeah actually first Dovbyk seemed like he would sign for Atletico Madrid. I really don't know what happened in the meantime. Considering for how much Roma has signed him, I assume it wasn't a money-related problem. After not signing him, Atletico Madrid preferred Sørloth instead. And I agree, Dovbyk was going to play Champions League football if he stayed in the La Liga.

I respect his choice but I hope he doesn't regret it later.    I really want to see Roma also in the Champions League. But we will see whether they will be able to make it this season. We need more progress from De Rossi first to believe.

What Dovbyk chose is quite questionable. And actually, after Atletico Madrid failed to get Dovbyk, it turns out that now they have got a much more experienced player who was obtained from a big club, namely Alvarez from Man City. And it's just a matter of time until Atletico Madrid officially announces it. Yes, I also respect Dovbyk's decision to prefer Roma over Atletico Madrid and Girona.
