Atalanta is not strong this season in defense, it seems they have conceded 13 goals this season from 7 matches, this states that Atalanta or Gesperini must grow new young players in defense, because we know Atalanta in the attack line is quite good after winning over Genoa with a score of 5-1 of course this says they are quite good in attacking strategy, it is not surprising that they are in the top 5 of the competition so far because the fact is they are good at attacking, Gesperini is the coach who brought them this far I think he needs some defenders to make Atalanta stronger and more solid.

In my opinion Atalanta is a very fierce mediocre team not only in the Champions they just got a win in the Champions of course this is a good thing for the increasing performance of this Italian team, I think in the near future there will be many things that Gesperini will do with Atalanta in bringing big trophies to their fans and I personally really like Gesperini's strategy.

Because there is napoli who coach by Conte, so that situation make Inter performance is not much better for this session. But I think, inter performance is not bad, they only lost draw on 1 match when compare with napoli. Inter is still good on series A and champions league also, because of the performance make Manchester United want Inzaghi service to coach the club. Inzaghi Is one coach who can make concocting strategy from average player become an extraordinary player, this is what MU want make their players like inter squad. But, it's not easy, because premier league is tight competition which make him can't exploring much.

We have seen inconsistent performances from Atalanta since the start of the season. The overall condition of the team was unstable. Defenders performed poorly as Atalanta conceded 4 goals against Inter Milan. Even against teams like Como, Atalanta lost 3-2. Atalanta's defense is quite weak. At the same time, the performance of the attacking players is also erratic.

However, the performance of Atalanta's players in the last two matches seems to show that Atalanta's performance is more organized than before. This team has played very well in the last two matches. I'm surprised that Inter Milan have failed to be convincing with their performances just like they were last season that they won the Italian Serie A. After signing Marcus Thuram in beginning of the summer to strengthen their attacking line, I was of the opinion that winning games wouldn't be a big issue for Inter Milan this season but that hasn't been the case.
I don't want to believe that the club players suddenly developed fatigue or lost form just few months after lifting the league title so maybe it's just a tactical problem that can be fixed by the club manager so they can verify competitive again.

However, in my opinion it is only natural that Atalanta can win with a landslide score against Genoa. Yeah we have to admit as a whole Atalanta play very well in this match they play aggressively and continue to attack and score 5 goals, looks like we see a different Atalanta today at least from their last 6 matches, but I won't say Atalanta has returned to her best performance because we haven't seen consistency there. Mateo Retegui scored 3 goals in this match and placed his name as a temporary top score with a collection of 7 goals.

I don't think they can continue with the amount of games ahead in this very campaign because you'd agree with me that this season's schedule is very much busier than last season's, if it was last season I would say they can manage but now is like a test run for Atalanta, let's see how far they can go before we run into conclusion that they're back to winning ways not because of a 5-1 win, the winning and scoring of countless goals need to be a regular thing for them before we say they're back. The team is already set but they need to do more than they did last season.
Now we have Inter Milan that started their journey after several bad games and they are the ones we've to say they're back to winning ways, sitting at 4th position is a positive start to the journey to the top of the table. Juventus on the other hand are also doing well but I doubt if they can easily get a win today.

Como tried very well and put a great fight with Napoli but Napoli strong attacks made difference and help them to win the match. Como played well so they might win their next game. Napoli is playing very well and consistently which could help them to win the league title easily. Not sure but they can.

Napoli is truly showing some great form this season with their regular wins. At the early part of the match especially when Como equalized the goal, I was thinking their winning streak was about to be truncated but it was not long before they came back and continued their lead even before half time. What I found sweet about Napoli this season is their ability to score at any given chance. They are consistent and it is working out for them as they are still at the number one spot in the Serie A league table. I hope they can finish strong this season.

Napoli has become a consistent team in the Italian league. Napoli have managed to win five out of seven matches so far in the season, while they have lost just one match. In other seasons we miss this Napoli a lot. In other seasons, they start very slowly and later they fall far behind in terms of points with the number one or two teams in the points table and later they cannot recover those points. As this season they have been playing aggressive football from the start and have managed to score good points so far so I expect this team to maintain their consistency till the end of the season. This team has been trying for the last few seasons but so far they have not been able to win the league title, hope this season they can fulfill that dream.

I'd say towards the end of last season that was when we saw Atalanta at their best because they were not even close to the top 6 teams that are competing for the title but as time goes by they started improving by getting points scoring goals and trying to prove a point to the other top teams. Against Leverkusen it gave them a very high momentum after winning that finals, that win alone made them believe they can go against the best and secure a win.
Right from the very beginning Atalanta have been having issues with their defense line that's why last season there isn't a game they'll play without conceding even if they'll win their opponent will get like 1/2 goals so I think is time for them to strengthen that position (the defense line) and worry less about the midfield and attack, if that is done then I don't see any team getting past them that easy.

Atalanta is back again to their last season's performance. They destroyed Genoa. They shot a lot and owned most of the possession. Although they're not so aggressive in the first half, but so rampant in the second half. It looks like they’re finally finding their feet in the league.

On the other hand, Genoa was really embarrassing; they lack effort and quality. Their attack was severely downgraded after they sold Retegui to Atalanta. They have so much space between their midfield and attack. And it really surprised me how Retegui alone made a hat trick against them.

Marcus Lilian Thuram was one of the most entertaining player among all the Inter Milan players because of his hard work on that match, he has never backslided for ones on that match and he totally deserve the hard trick because that should stand as an award for playing that good, so I can imagine the happiness that would be in him by getting the first hard trick after a year of joining the club on the Serie A, however is good that he has a long contract on Inter Milan which will last till 2028 so he has a lot of time to add more value to the club.

However with the way Torino peak form during the ending part of the first half till the last minutes I wonder if Inter Milan would have won the match if there was no red card against Torino because to an extent they were not even playing like a club that has a short one.

First of all, congrats on your win. But there is one thing I'm really surprised of here. Why did Udinese have such high odds like 2.24 for the win? You didn't bet on this parlay while this game was live right?

If it was really like that before this game started then it is a really good catch. Even if it wasn't it is still a reasonable attempt considering the way Udinese started the season. 


Atalanta really needed these big wins recently. Because they couldn't start the Serie A well. But first beating Shakhtar and later this win must have made a huge boost in players' morale. When it comes to Inter, I was expecting them not to have a very comfortable score. Even though that early red card by Torino, they still fought hard and scored 2 goals.

And Thuram... He is really on fire!    After this hat-trick he has 7 goals in the league.

I personally would probably prefer not to bet on the Lazio vs Empoli match because indeed the match is very difficult to predict, Empoli has shown a significant improvement this season and even I think their defense is quite solid this season, because they have only conceded 2 goals from 6 matches so far.
I think the match is difficult to predict because Empoli may choose a defensive strategy in the match to hold back Lazio who will probably play with a fairly strong attack and will try hard to scoring, so it is indeed possible that one of the teams will win with a narrow score, so I think BTTS will also be a good choice, especially since Lazio may dominate possession in the match but Empoli can take advantage of the counterattack to score.

I was surprised to see how pretty good Udinese started the league to the point that they were topping the table few weeks back, but as the league is getting matured it looks like they are dropping form, and they don't have that high morale anymore. Inter 3-1 victory yesterday uplifted them to second position on the table, they might be pushed down if Juventus win Cagliari.

Of course, big clubs will always prove that they are big clubs as the season deepens because they will have taken care of whatever challenge they had initially, it is only big clubs whose players are on injury or poor coaching system that will still be looking for their bearing. This season will be more interesting and fuller of surprise because the competition will be tougher than last season that Inter points range was wide from other clubs.

I was surprised to see how pretty good Udinese started the league to the point that they were topping the table few weeks back, but as the league is getting matured it looks like they are dropping form, and they don't have that high morale anymore. Juventus is winning but one goal at 84 minutes  and the goal was scored in first through penalty by Duhan Vlohovi. I will not say that this is a motivating result because I expected them to win nicely and not just through penalty. They are playing home and are obviously the favorite against Cagliari so it was expected that they win them decisively because they have to keep focus on winning as many matches as possible if they want to turn their current situation around as they are almost becoming an average team in the Seria A.

While typing, Cagliari has just equalized the goal and that is not looking too good for Juventus. They will have to maintain their fourth position and if AC Milan wins their match, they will be displaced to 5th position.
