However, the more competition there is, the better it will be for these teams, they must always be at their best level to be the best at the end of the season.

Marcus Thuram can ensure that his team can get a win from this match with 3 goals that he managed to create in the 25th, 35th minute and in the second half precisely in the 60th minute. Torino also actually tried to fight back, but they were not that strong and could only create 2 goals and that was not enough to make them get at least 1 point from this match. So far their goal productivity is good but they still need to improve the performance of the back line which is still a little easy to penetrate the opponent's attack line. Maybe that will be fine when they face a team that is weaker than them, but it will be very dangerous when they face a team that is equal or even stronger.

Atalanta are back to their scoring form (at least they didn't concede more than a goal) not winning ways because they are not that consistent when it comes to winning games with this type of goal margin, they're doing well this season but not yet to applaud them on. Last season Atalanta are only good at scoring and allowing their opponent to score more than a goal and this season they have sealed that open space to their goal post and with the young talents they have I believe this isn't the end of a wonderful performance, scoring 5 goals only shows that they're ready to compete with the other teams.

Yeah we have to admit as a whole Atalanta play very well in this match they play aggressively and continue to attack and score 5 goals, looks like we see a different Atalanta today at least from their last 6 matches, but I won't say Atalanta has returned to her best performance because we haven't seen consistency there. Mateo Retegui scored 3 goals in this match and placed his name as a temporary top score with a collection of 7 goals.

I don't think they can continue with the amount of games ahead in this very campaign because you'd agree with me that this season's schedule is very much busier than last season's, if it was last season I would say they can manage but now is like a test run for Atalanta, let's see how far they can go before we run into conclusion that they're back to winning ways not because of a 5-1 win, the winning and scoring of countless goals need to be a regular thing for them before we say they're back. The team is already set but they need to do more than they did last season.
Now we have Inter Milan that started their journey after several bad games and they are the ones we've to say they're back to winning ways, sitting at 4th position is a positive start to the journey to the top of the table. Juventus on the other hand are also doing well but I doubt if they can easily get a win today.

Napoli beat Como with 3-1 getting important points. This kind of winning helps the Napoli to stay to near the top of the league. Como tried very well and put a great fight with Napoli but Napoli strong attacks made difference and help them to win the match. Como played well so they might win their next game. Napoli is playing very well and consistently which could help them to win the league title easily. Not sure but they can.

Napoli is truly showing some great form this season with their regular wins. At the early part of the match especially when Como equalized the goal, I was thinking their winning streak was about to be truncated but it was not long before they came back and continued their lead even before half time. What I found sweet about Napoli this season is their ability to score at any given chance. They are consistent and it is working out for them as they are still at the number one spot in the Serie A league table. I hope they can finish strong this season.

Napoli has become a consistent team in the Italian league. Napoli have managed to win five out of seven matches so far in the season, while they have lost just one match. In other seasons we miss this Napoli a lot. In other seasons, they start very slowly and later they fall far behind in terms of points with the number one or two teams in the points table and later they cannot recover those points. As this season they have been playing aggressive football from the start and have managed to score good points so far so I expect this team to maintain their consistency till the end of the season. This team has been trying for the last few seasons but so far they have not been able to win the league title, hope this season they can fulfill that dream.

Atalanta are very good with attacks in recent seasons and the UEFA Europa League final match last season when they destroyed the unbeaten Leverkusen is a classic example on their attacking power. Together with good attacking power and their favorite tactics that focuses on attacking, their defense system is not actually too good, and consequently they usually get many conceded goals. Defense is Atalanta's biggest weakness and in match they can not play well in attacks, they usually lose points and even three points.

I'd say towards the end of last season that was when we saw Atalanta at their best because they were not even close to the top 6 teams that are competing for the title but as time goes by they started improving by getting points scoring goals and trying to prove a point to the other top teams. Against Leverkusen it gave them a very high momentum after winning that finals, that win alone made them believe they can go against the best and secure a win.
Right from the very beginning Atalanta have been having issues with their defense line that's why last season there isn't a game they'll play without conceding even if they'll win their opponent will get like 1/2 goals so I think is time for them to strengthen that position (the defense line) and worry less about the midfield and attack, if that is done then I don't see any team getting past them that easy.

After a log time Atalanta is back in winning a game.
After the game in Champions something has been changed and this evening they managed to destroy Genoa with 5-1 goals.
Retegui did a superb game scoring 3 goals.

Atalanta is back again to their last season's performance. They destroyed Genoa. They shot a lot and owned most of the possession. Although they're not so aggressive in the first half, but so rampant in the second half. It looks like they’re finally finding their feet in the league.

On the other hand, Genoa was really embarrassing; they lack effort and quality. Their attack was severely downgraded after they sold Retegui to Atalanta. They have so much space between their midfield and attack. And it really surprised me how Retegui alone made a hat trick against them.

Marcus Thuram first Serie A hattrick secured Inter win over Torino and put Inter two points behind Napoli at the top of the standings.

Marcus Lilian Thuram was one of the most entertaining player among all the Inter Milan players because of his hard work on that match, he has never backslided for ones on that match and he totally deserve the hard trick because that should stand as an award for playing that good, so I can imagine the happiness that would be in him by getting the first hard trick after a year of joining the club on the Serie A, however is good that he has a long contract on Inter Milan which will last till 2028 so he has a lot of time to add more value to the club.

However with the way Torino peak form during the ending part of the first half till the last minutes I wonder if Inter Milan would have won the match if there was no red card against Torino because to an extent they were not even playing like a club that has a short one.

Of the 4 matches that I predicted, there is a little doubt about the Lazio vs Empoli match. Last season, Empoli was one of the very bad teams. But this season, they are one of the teams that are very consistent in maintaining their position with a draw and only conceding 2 goals.
I doubt that in this match, Empoli will use a defensive strategy using a formation to strengthen the defense with the desire to gain 1 point rather than lose points.

First of all, congrats on your win. But there is one thing I'm really surprised of here. Why did Udinese have such high odds like 2.24 for the win? You didn't bet on this parlay while this game was live right?

If it was really like that before this game started then it is a really good catch. Even if it wasn't it is still a reasonable attempt considering the way Udinese started the season. 


Atalanta really needed these big wins recently. Because they couldn't start the Serie A well. But first beating Shakhtar and later this win must have made a huge boost in players' morale. When it comes to Inter, I was expecting them not to have a very comfortable score. Even though that early red card by Torino, they still fought hard and scored 2 goals.

And Thuram... He is really on fire!    After this hat-trick he has 7 goals in the league.

I personally would probably prefer not to bet on the Lazio vs Empoli match because indeed the match is very difficult to predict, Empoli has shown a significant improvement this season and even I think their defense is quite solid this season, because they have only conceded 2 goals from 6 matches so far.
I think the match is difficult to predict because Empoli may choose a defensive strategy in the match to hold back Lazio who will probably play with a fairly strong attack and will try hard to scoring, so it is indeed possible that one of the teams will win with a narrow score, so I think BTTS will also be a good choice, especially since Lazio may dominate possession in the match but Empoli can take advantage of the counterattack to score.

Juventus was unable to scores more and the final result is 1-1 and after through an 6 matches with cleansheet records finally Juventus have to conceded goal from this match and this is really unexpected result considering this is home match for Juventus and Cagliari status also as weak team so i didn't expect Cagliari can stole point from Juventus and this is not good because this result is make Juventus unable to taking over second place from Inter Milan and indeed if AC Milan can win from Fiorentina today then Juventus position will be dropped at 4th place and although Juventus is still unbeated in all competitions but i can't says their performance is quite impressive because this is their 4th draws from 7 latest matches in Serie A so Juventus still have a problem with their consistency

Unexpected result, I thought Juventus can beat Cagliari easily but in fact they could score a goal by penalty only and at the end they have to accept the fact that they get 1 point only.
Juventus played really well when they defeated Leipzig in the UCL but they cant do the same performance against Cagliari even they played in front of their own fans.
This is also first conceded goal for Juventus after 6 matches with cleansheet, well done for Cagliari

A renowned team of Serie A is Lazio. However, this team is not in a good rhythm this season. Lazio finished second in the table in the 2022–23 season. But Lazio's performance this season is poor. Lazio in particular are lagging behind due to their poor defence. Lazio failed to score points due to poor defense in most of the matches.

Empoli, on the other hand, have been in very good form this season. Especially Empoli's defense is very strong this season. Empoli's overall performance is very stable. This team's defense is strong, but their attacking performance is relatively weak. However, Empoli are unbeaten so far this season. Empoli's chances of defeat in today's match are very low. I expect Empoli to win. However, the match is also likely to be a draw.

The many opportunities that Juventus got in this match were not enough to bring them victory. Only in the 15th minute of the first half did La Vecchia Signora manage to score a goal through a penalty from Dusan Vlahovic after that and so on until the second half there were no additional goals and the narrow advantage was equalized by Cagliari, the final score was 1-1.
In my opinion, Juve's performance was not bad, it's just that Cagliari showed a good defense so that Motta's team was unable to redeem it.
This draw puts Juventus in 3rd place in the standings with 13 points and if Milan gets a positive result when visiting Fiorentina's headquarters today their position will be shifted.

After 7 rounds we are having 3 wins and 4 draws, and they concede their first goal in this game against Cagliari which is surely giving all how things are going now they are at the third spot their performance is surely far away for best in today game I was expecting some good and aggressive approach from them, but things were completely out of the touch.

Dušan Vlahović doing good, but we have no support for him which can give them good results in today game we have 7 shots on target but still just one goal which need to be improved because now in coming weeks things could be more competitive and tense they needed to be at his best if they want to keep things at the top level in Serie A.
