Even though there is only one point difference between Bayern and Dortmund at the moment, I doubt Dortmund can end Bayern's dominance in the Bundesliga. Because there are still 26 games to go, I am pessimistic that Dortmund can play consistently, Dortmund will likely lose a lot of points. Unlike Bayern, which already has a winning mentality, I believe this season Bayern will again win the Bundesliga trophy.
I agree that the mistake that Dortmund often makes is to always let go of their star players, especially several times selling star players to Bayern, it must be stopped immediately if Dortmund really wants to end Bayern's dominance. I really want other team to win the Bundesliga, so that the Bundesliga competition is more exciting if the winner is difficult to predict. I also hoped that Leverkusen could compete with Bayern and Dortmund for the Bundesliga trophy, but after Leverkusen was beaten 1-5 by Bayern, I must admit that Leverkusen's level is still far below Bayern.

Everyone doubts Dortmund could do that, it is obvious that Dortmund is not seen as the team that will end the dominance of Bayern, not this time at least, maybe some other time. They do not have Klopp or Tuchel anymore, they have Haaland which is a big big name, but I doubt that they would be able to keep him for long neither, hell there are talks about Haaland being the first big name Newcastle gets as well, they have enough money to spend 200+ million on the transfer fee and 50 million for the player, will they do it? We do not know, it is only a rumor, but we know that they can afford it at least, 250 million is NOTHING for Saudi prince, dude worths 300+ billion dollars, that is like me spending 25 bucks on something, hell probably even easier than that for this guy.

So Dortmund will not keep this up, Bayern will, and the difference will be 10+ points at least by the end of the season when Bayern is declared champions.

I think that the most satisfying match of the week was absolutely the Leverkusen v Bayern Munich. Who would have thought that Bayern Munich would just crush Leverkusen with a huge 5-1 result? Leverkusen were one of the best in-form teams in the league in the end. They had the same points with Bayern Munich before this match started. But they had nothing to do against this powerful Bayern Munich.

I literally though the match was going to end draw. But It came as a surprise on how Bayern scored 5 goals in the first half, Leverkusen got beaten brutally. I have no doubt that Bayer Leverkusen lost hope in winning or drawing the match after the first half ended. They only managed to score a goal in the second half, and they will surely beat Köln in their next match. Bayern munich is definitely the most powerful in the Bundesliga, they are just too good in their League and even in the Champion League.

Greuther Fuerth have only managed 1 point after 8 matchdays. 1-1 against Bielefeld 1 month ago. On Saturday they play against Leipzig. After that, they will probably still only have 1 point and remain last in the table. I think Leipzig will score at least 3 goals.

I would say that they simply lack the quality to compete in the Bundesliga. When you compare them to Union Berlin, there is a huge difference between them during their first season of advancing to the Bundesliga. Union Berlin was able to at least get some slightly above average kickers into their squad and now they are even well established. I think Fuerth just doesn't have the means. They are too small of a club.

Looks like Dortmund , Wolfsburg and Leipzig continuing there playing that they have in the german league also in the champions league .
The only team that keeps playing good and are winning is Bayern Munich with a great and good match as i have seen in the review.

I don't think Leipzig have a chance of winning last night's CL match against PSG, but for Dortmund and Wolfsburg I think it's a surprising result because basically they can still match the opponent but in fact they lost badly. For the Bundeliga game at the weekend I personally believe they will get full points except for Wolfsburg, Wolfsburg will play against Freiburg and even though it is a home game for Wolfsburg I just don't believe Wolfsburg will win here, a deserved draw for them.

this time it will be a pretty tough match for Wolfsburg because Freiburg has not lost in 8 matches played. Freiburg is also prolific in scoring away goals. so I believe Wolfsburg has to play carefully in this game.
I will bet on Freiburg winning, maybe just 1 or 2 Goals winning. because this time they played away at the Volkswagen Arena.

I surely think the same, Bayern now is playing a different level of soccer, while other teams are left behind, I think that even without Robert Lewandowski Bayern can perform very well, but with Lewandowski on the team Bayern can be unbeatable, but that one thing against Frankfurt had exposed Bayern that, this team can still make mistakes, and that one match against them have gotten Bayern a losing score, I just wish Robert Lewandowski would not have any problem with injuries, because if it did, this could open an opportunity for other teams to take a step, and in my opinion, Dortmund is the only team that can take Bayern Toe to toe and has a chance in making another dent in Bayerns Standings.

I just saw that news too and it's pretty hard to not notice it as everyone is reporting it, but i would say that is only big news for the press regarding the overall covid situation which is seeing increasing numbers in germany again.
From a football point of view i would say that this will not have a big impact if any impact at all. Bayern has the best players of the Bundesliga and they are also very experienced. I am pretty sure that nagelsmann will do the tactical planning from home and just send it to his assistants.

That is very unfortunate news. COVID seems like increasing again in Europe. But I don't think not having the coach on the training ground will have that of a bad effect on Bayern. They have very experienced senior players and also the support coaching staff who will help them as long as Nagelsmann is unavailable. Considering the form Bayern are in right now, scoring goals like they are toying with their opponents, they should not have any problem having the coach absent I guess.

The German league has been the Bayern league for quite a long period of time and I don't see that changing this season. I somewhat expected that they will have a hard time winning against Leverkusen in the last match as Leverkusen were 2nd in the table and were playing very well so far. But it seemed like Bayern toyed with them. As long as Lewandowski, Muller, Gnabry will be on form, I hardly think Bayern will miss any title in the next few seasons.

I also think the same, and there's no doubt about it, but if one of the players of Bayern like Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller, Leon Goretzka, Manuel Neuer, and Serge Gnabry would be injured, then Bayern could struggle, I think that if only Lewandowski would be injured, I think Bayern can handle a game if their opponent is not Leverkusen or Dortmund, and vice versa if Muller, Gnabry, Neuer, or Goretzka can not play and Lewandowski would be the only one in the court Bayern may struggle, and that match on Leverkusen looks like a bonus game for Bayern, and Karim Bellaradi looks really frustrated.

Because of attraction from transfer deal, financial income and pressure from their star players, they will lose their best players. It will be a start of their troubles.

In Bundesliga, Leipzig already have more competitors like you said, Mainz, Wolfsburg and Freiburg. They will struggle with those clubs to complete this season with a good position and a spot to Champions League.

It is not the same for managers. I understand that if you are a player, if you test positive then you will not be able to play and you will be outside of the pitch, probably at home. However, managers do not have to "not manage" when they are outside right? Like they could literally watch it at home in front of TV and could call up their friends? I do not remember anyone checking their phones while managing, so I am not entirely sure, but they could use a loophole like give someone close to bench a phone, not in the bench but close, and then he could rely the information.

However with the German strict hardwork stuff and all that cliche things, I believe they will probably just focus on assistant manager or whoever will be interim until Nagelsmann comes will manage the games. Not really a big deal considering they are Bayern and they will probably just win.

BTW next games are interesting for Bayern, Hoffenheim first which scored 4? against Bayern last season, M'Gladbach in DFB-Pokal then Union.

I don't think that is even needed like Nagelsmann calling up his support staff or something. Bayern already has a very talented squad with a lot of experience. So they won't have a problem with the training grounds in my opinion. And about the substitute or the tactic changes mid-game could be handled somewhat by the supporting coaches I guess. At least they have some idea how the players play or what tactic should be changed.
