Congratulations to Heidenheim and their coach Frank Schmidt. Heidenheim finally won for the first time in Bundesliga 1. They deserved to win 4:2. Leverkusen are really pretty impressive so far. Xabi Alonso is just continuing from where he left. I'm curious about one thing as well. Can they stay in the title race until the end? After seeing them performing really decently in Allianz Arena and stealing a point from them too I started to think about this possibility more.

Leverkusen wouldn't do like Dortmund did at the end in my opinion. They would play much stronger if they play a championship game on the final week of the season. Therefore Bayern Munich had better be as consistent as possible if they don't want to see their title streak ending.

Last season they started the season disappointingly, a series of bad results they got, at that time Xabi entered and could slowly improve Leverkusen's performance and could also slowly move up in the standings. This season is different from before, they can achieve good results at the start of the season, 3 wins and 1 draw are very good results from the 4 matches they have played. They can also perch at the top of the table because of superior goal productivity from Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich happens to be one of my favorites especially when it has to do with German football and they have really earn my support as a result of their achievements over the years but in this season they have seem not to be at that very best I really expect of them but then we never can tell the season is still at it's beginning so hopefully we will see things change before mid season.

Summarily I could say the bundesliga this season will come with more of surprises as every team seam to be putting in their little best, it is best to at this time keep an open mind as anything can happen since we still have enough time, I mean many weeks enough for teams to prove their self of been worthy of securing a top spot on the league table and probably be the champions.

Leipzig against Augsburg was the cleanest match this week with not a single yellow card issued by the referee. Leipzig definitely closed their victory from the first half because they had broken into Augsburg's goal 3 times. Each goal was scored by Xavi Simons, Luis Openda and David Raum. Bayern was really not that dominant but there was no team ready to make use of that. Dortmund was a joke at the end of the season, it was unbelievable what they did and also didn't deserve it then.

Leipzig is consistent yes, but it's never enough for them to lead the table and stay there. They are among the top four and that has been like that for quite long I think, but they could never be a threat to Bayern Munich in the race for the Bundesliga title. For 5 years in a row they finished in the Champions League qualifiers, but every time it was quite the distance to Bayern Munich.

It's difficult when the difference is so stark in terms of mentality and strength that even when there is an opportunity, it sometimes seems to be wasted.

Bayern did not win 13 games last season, they did not win 13 out of 34. That has not happened in over a decade and now that it happened, Dortmund could still not win it because they are not consistently in the 70+ points range.

I don't think so. Stuttgart is in great shape I know. The team is now fourth in the points table after winning three out of four matches. Even so, beating the Darmstadt team will not be easy.
