I can see because of the good performance from Xabi Alonso, he is now getting more famous and some teams are playing to hire this coach for the next season even if they are currently working with great coaches in their team.
For example, Real Madrid is still trying to find a replacement for Carlo Ancelotti because they know he is going to leave the team one day. But because of the performance we saw from Xabi Alonso, I don't think if Leverkusen let him leave anytime soon.

Of course, Xabi Alonso has become a target for coaches for top European teams because he has succeeded in bringing Leverkusen to the peak of glory since last season and with his strategy or tactics with Leverkusen, interest from European teams has certainly increased. Leverkusen will definitely not want to let go off Xabi Alonso anytime soon, this is a team that has suffered certain level of set back over a long period of time but since the arrival of Xabi Alonso their have been a drastic change and  this is something the club is very happy with including the players as their relationship with the coach has improved greatly.

I see it as a cause and effect kind of thing for Xabi to have gained so much fame and attention in a short period of time, it can be seen as the results he has produced with his team within his period of arrival up on to this time. Leverkusen is indeed a good club and its performance is quite convincing this season. but it is true what you say if Bayern is actually still above Leverkusen regarding the ability of its players. In the last match which ended in a draw, Bayern actually had a 2-1 lead. However, it was very unfortunate that at the end of injury time, they made a mistake and were very unlucky. So Leverkusen got the final kick which made it a goal.

I Think Leverkusen recent success, it is obvious that they have not yet reached Bayern Munich level.  Munich stands out due to their consistent dominance in the Bundesliga and strong player pool. Leverkusen is improving, but more work needs to be done before they can threaten Munich dominance. Leverkusen has made improvement, though, and with more perseverance and consistency, they may someday be considered serious competitors. Yes, even though Bayer Leverkusen still hasn't reached the level and/or quality of Bayern Munich, at least Bayer Leverkusen managed to put up a good fight in yesterday match, which is also a good result for Bayer Leverkusen. Real madrid will take xabi as new appointment next year. Xabi will not be staying even longer till the end of this season. Leverkusen is already equal in term of performance for this season.
There's no need to feel doubt about the quality owned by xabi as a coach. Many great coaches have been also praising him even before xabi already recruited to be a new coach for leverkusen.

They really put off a tough show against ¹⁴ Times Champions League winners ( Real Madrid ). I also got to see the brilliance and intelligent defending from Italian defender Leonardo Bonnuci.
Man was solid for the defense until they substuted him during the 76th or 79th minute of the game. We also saw some brilliance from the  Dane Frederick Ronnow who made some great saves. The shot from Uruguay Federico Valverde was massive as it lead to the goal scored by Jude Bellingham.

Tougher test ahead, for they have only got six points in four games.They should not fail to share a point or win the game against Hoffenheim.

I really admired Union Berlin's resistance. Because honestly I thought Real Madrid would simply beat them in Santiago Bernabeu. Because there was a big quality difference between these teams. But if Union Berlin can resist them this much in an away game then I wonder what would happen in Germany.

In the last two matches we have seen very poor defense from Union Berlin.  The team has conceded 5 goals in their last two bundesliga matches . But in yesterday's match against real madrid, the defenders of Union Berlin played very well. Although they were defeated, the performance of the defenders was very good. Madrid players attacked a lot. Even then they managed just one goal, that too in extra time after 90 minutes.

Last week's draw did show that Leverkusen played better so they were able to balance Munich's game, but I think differently that Munich didn't play fully because it was to maintain the players' stamina and performance to face Manchester United in last night's UCL group stage match, so in my opinion the meeting against Leverkusen I didn't see Munich playing like usual.

Whatever it is, if Leverkusen wants to be a competitor to Munich this season for the title, it seems there is still hope if they continue to play consistently and continue on a winning path or at least play a draw and don't lose points because that will eliminate the opportunity to compete with Munich at the top of the standings. , it seems that Dortmund is not a club to worry about this season, so Munich still has to be careful with Leverkusen.

It's true that Union Berlin defense was very good, Madrid could be said to have won thanks to luck in the last minute. Game statistics can clearly illustrate this, at least Ancelotti squad took 32 shots and dominated the game with 76% ball possession. However, it only succeeded in the added minute, after Valverde final shot failed to be properly anticipated by the Union Berlin goalkeeper, and Bellingham converted it into a goal. Ancelotti admitted that Union defense was very tough, the German representative played a low block strategy quite well.

They showed lesser strength in both their midfield and attack although they are not known for such weakness in both their defense and attack both in this game they concentrated more strength on their defense, I am optimistic union berlin will do better in their other games both in the UCL and in the bundesliga as they have the capacity for a better performance.

Xabi Alonso has proved that he's got a winning mentality both a player and coach, he was very successful with the teams he played for in the past and is gradually becoming a successful coach at Leverkusen and I love how he's transforming the team into one of the strongest Contenders in the league, I thought they would suffer their  first lose this last week when they played Bayern Munich  away from home, but they're yet to be defeated and even secured a draw from the match, thereby continuing their unbeaten run.
 
 If Xabi Alonso maintains this good coaching record for a while I think we'll like see him coaching one of the big teams he's played for, either Realmadrid or Liverpool but I believe he'll make a fine replacement for Jurgen klopp when he leaves Liverpool and being a club legend would make it even more interesting to sign him as Klopp's replacement.

Leverkusen is really coming with new face right now. Im having faith in leverkusen to become the strongest competitor for bayern right now. The draw against bayern away made me feel i have confidence with this club.
We have dortmund as strongest contender to win bundesliga last season but it's failed. We have a new team that will be trying to compete with bayern munchen for the title race.

It will be very interesting to have a new winner this season caused by it's boring to see how bayern has been winning bundesliga for around 11 years. My support is for leverkusen at this moment.

Leverkusen is really coming with new face right now. Im having faith in leverkusen to become the strongest competitor for bayern right now. The draw against bayern away made me feel i have confidence with this club.
We have dortmund as strongest contender to win bundesliga last season but it's failed. We have a new team that will be trying to compete with bayern munchen for the title race.

It will be very interesting to have a new winner this season caused by it's boring to see how bayern has been winning bundesliga for around 11 years. My support is for leverkusen at this moment.
Leverkusen is even more solid compared with last season when the club was still disjointed.

Xabi has been successfully to build the mentality of its players perfectly without any doubt.

@Unknown Op I agree. They actually have a lot of potential. But I think it is important for them that Xabi Alonso is the coach of the squad for a long period of time for them to succeed. Otherwise, I don't think they will actually be able to continue performing well. This is a time when good coaches are very hard to find. And in this time they have found a coach which is really good and also brings them good results.

The problem is the coach is definitely going to be approached by other clubs. And I don’t think he is going to stick around for another season with this club. This is just a process for him to prove that he is a good coach. It is actually not going to be surprising if the team starts performing badly after he leaves.
