I think I disagree because Kane solved exactly the problems that Bayern had the season before. In the most important games they were lacking a world class striker. Of course they have a good number of players who can be a threat for the opponent, but none of them is a 20+ goals player. Sané is great, Muller is great, some other players like Gnabry can be great when they are healthy, Musiala is scoring goals. But Harry Kane was the one element in their game that they were so badly missing. If a player like him misses a match, it does of course have an impact on their game and on the opponent in a positive sense as well. There is just no way for any team to replace a player 1:1 who scored over 30 goals so far in the Bundesliga.

But I am sure that Bayern is still the overwhelming favorite in this game as Dortmund lacks consistency and it is rather unlikely that Dortmund will show their A-game just in that moment against Bayern. It is more likely going to be another disaster for Dortmund.

I think not only Harry Kane but also other players should focus on the UCL now. Their opponents are very strong and they must do their best to eliminate. Arsenal is playing well in the Premier League and there is Bayern, who are also playing well in the Bundesliga, but are far behind Leverkusen due to their unfortunate loss of points in the previous matches. Exactly what I had in mind, it's reported that he's returned to Bayern Munich already and will continue with his recovery process. They shouldn't rush him into that game against Borrussia Dortmund at all. He should be rested, tested and accessed for the game against Arsenal during the Champions League Competition coming up next week and next month.

T's time for Chuopo Mutong to step up and play. This would definitely be his last season with Bayern Munich and I'm certain he will give all of his best.
I love his journey, he moved from Southampton to Paris Saint Germans and then finally to Bayern Munich. He's won god trophies across all these years with the above mentioned club except the English Premier League Club.
