I don't think there will be any revenge motive for Bayern Munich. They have already been dominating the Bundesliga for so many years and finishing only one season like this wouldn't be enough to break their general domination. But one thing is certain that this might really be the start of something different on one hand.

Juventus domination in the Serie A comes to my mind. After their title streak was broken we started to see quite many different champions. It is more difficult to see that many different champions in the Bundesliga though but at least Leverkusen could continue to be a title contender as long as they have Xabi Alonso. 

We will definitely see how it finally goes, I'm sure that Bayern Munich would be having the chance to upgrade the squad immediately the season comes to an end.
They haven't been a stable side since the time if Nagelsmann man. I won't blame it too much on him because immediately Robert Lewandoski left for Barcelona, they Bayern Munich failed to replace him with the right name and it affected them a big deal. I'm not sure if Bayern Leverkusen would be doing a back to back Bundesliga League Competition win though, that would be sure difficult to achieve.

Exactly! I love this example. Shows how football from another league relates to another. It was almost the same for Leicester City Premier League Competition win and Girona, but Girona screwed things up.
And it's same with Arsenal and Napoli. It seems like Arsenal have learnt them lessons from last season.

Nevertheless, after giving it some more thought, I decided that it was time for another team to win the Bundesliga since Bayern Munich had won it four times in a row. In fact, I'm even relieved that Leverkusen won because it will motivate Bayern Munich to move on and get ready for the following season.

The fact that Leverkusen will play in the Champions League the following season is the most exciting part. It will be interesting to see what Leverkusen can accomplish and whether Xabi Alonso can make the league as tough as he does the Bundesliga. Regardless, Alonso has already set a record in both the Bundesliga and football history, but I believe he will leave Leverkusen after the upcoming season.

Xabi's current decision is an answer to all the drama that is possible because from the beginning the news about Xabi was really like a big saga because it involved several big clubs in it so when the decision was made when Xabi decided to stay at Leverkusen next season even though I felt quite a risky decision actually because after all, doing something like this could have consequences because surely next season might not be the same as this.
Seeing from the current situation, Bayern will definitely move quickly to make changes so that the squad can dominate again for next season and this could be a tough challenge for Xabi especially with their squad that could be shaky, I think it could have an impact on his career but when the decision has been made then indeed at this time Xabi only has to do the same intuition according to the decision he currently holds because it must be accounted for and Xabi must have considered that this is the best decision for him. 

Xabi Alonso has chosen his choice to stay with Leverkusen, this decision he has considered before and I am very confident about it. Previously, when Alonso was linked with Real Madrid, if I'm not mistaken he once stated that he still needed more experience to establish himself as an established coach with experience. plus, become a quality trainer. Interesting games this weekend for the teams at the bottom of the table.

Köln are at place 17 in the table and will play against Bochum (place 15). Bochum has a gap of 6 points to place 16.

Mainz and Darmstadt will also play against each other. Darmstadt is at last place and Mainz is at palce 16 with 20 points. A win is important for all teams.

And then the teams at place 14 and 15 will also play against each other. Mönchengladbach against Wolfsburg. Wolfsbrug is the only team of these 6 how won the last game with their new coach and has the best momentum. Mainz however, managed a draw against Leipzig in their last game and thus gained an important point.

If you view Bayern Munich performance in this season you will know that they will not be able to win this season trophy because some of the team they used to beat to achieved points from them, they are the teams challenging Bayern Munich in this season and, Bayer Leverkusen are dominating to break record to lift the Bundesliga trophy.

If Xabi improves Leverkusen squad and Bayern Munich hires a top coach, Bundesliga will be more interesting. But if Bayern Munich fails to hire a top coach, I doubt Bayern Munich will have the ability to compete with Leverkusen for the title next season. It will be nice if Xabi Alonso signs some top players to improve Leverkusen, he will prepare his team to compete in UCL, too. Anyway, I no doubt with Xabi's tactics, he is already proven it very well.

If you look at the depth of their current squad, Leverkusen actually has no problem with that and I'm sure Xabi Alonso is still very comfortable with his current players. Maybe every change should be made every season considering that its competitors will also make Leverkusen their destination. Becoming Bundesliga champions this season will mean Leverkusen get lots of bonuses and those funds will definitely be spent on new players in the summer.

On the other hand, I agree with you that Bayern Munich must be able to recruit top coaches and rebuild the chemistry between their players which was chaotic during the Thomas Tuchel era. Even though the situation has not yet subsided and considering that Thomas Tuchel will leave at the end of the season, I think the players must be able to survive and continue to adhere to the strategy that Thomas Tuchel has given. The rest they have to start again next season and hope to dominate the Bundesliga again.

I think it's a good curse because Harry Kane is the Bundesliga's top scorer at the moment. At the moment only Tuchel cannot maximize the potential of the existing players. So Kane came in superbly, he has become Munich's attacking solution. But indeed I don't fully blame only the coach, there is a factor in the strength of other teams that are developing better and that happened to Leverkusen.

There's no point for Xabi to stay in Leverkusen because:

1. Leverkusen wasn't able to pay as high as big teams.
2. He's taking risk to harm his reputation, if Leverkusen didn't make it in the next season, people will say Leverkusen was just lucky. But if Xabi wasn't in there, people will say it's because they lost Xabi.
3. If Xabi didn't make it in his new team, people will say it takes time or this league is harder than Bundesliga.

Munich will take revenge for their failure to win the title this season. I don't think they expected Leverkusen to be an unexpected variable and stop their dominance in the Bundesliga. They will certainly be better prepared next season and this will make the Bundesliga truly competitive.

If they ended up spending 100+ million euro just to get Kane after a season they "almost" lost, think about what they will do after they actually lose it. I am guessing that Bayern with their deep pockets could just turn this ship around completely and get rid of any of the old players that is not providing like they used to, such as kimmich and sane, those players may leave and someone better could take their spot.

This is why I believe that we are going to end up with something more and something bigger in the end. I get that things are not looking like they are doing all that crazy, but we should probably see Bayern getting the title back again next season. Xabi didn't make a mistake though, if they finish second, close to Bayern, that would still be fine.

Overall, the Bayern Munich players have no problems with their performance, but because this season in Tuchel hands they have created a different playing style. Bayern Munich does not feel comfortable with Tuchel strategy, we can see it clearly on the pitch how many Bayern players express this incompatibility. For next season although there will be no changes to the players as long as they get a suitable coach, the Bundesliga can be controlled again. Xabi is clearly superior in terms of tactics to Tuchel and that is the main reason why Bayern Munich cannot provide resistance in the Bundesliga. They have been dominating Bundesliga for years now, them losing only this season have nothing to do with their value in the general ranking of Bundesliga, but the way they went down this season shamefully with all the players they have in their squad is the concern, but we understand that the coach is the main reason for this because he wasn’t able to use the squad he have to win his team Bundesliga.
On the other hand, I think Dortmund and Monaco will be the two teams to be on shame as they couldn’t able to do what  Leverkusen is doin this for so many years since they had chances even when Bayern is not in good form.

I find it interesting that Koln and Mainz's position on the table has been very close since 4 years ago. Is it just a coincidence or do their play style and results show som connection? Both managed to be a mid-table team at some point collecting 49 points or so. Will they get related at the same time too? I hope Mainz will get out of the relegation battle quickly.

Kane curse has been discussed since he first joined Bayern Munich and some people keep saying that Kane might become a top scorer but the curse will come when the team has difficulty winning the title.

I think it is easy to blame a single person instead of analyzing how badly the tactics or gameplan/coach-player relationship at Bayern this season. Sometimes it is funny how easily people claim some teams are cursed or something like that in football.

I mean that was also a bit about Juventus as much as it was about other teams. For their case, Juventus got worse and that is why other teams managed to win the league, in this case Leverkusen did not lose a single game so far to win the league, Bayern is not doing amazing that is true but not like the yare doing terrible neither, look at Juventus now, the yare not doing that well.

Plus, Bayern is losing fair and square, whereas Juventus was hit with so many penalties, and I do not mean the one that made them drop to lower league, they won so many titles after that, I mean like even as recent as last year where they were punished. That is why I think it should be important to realize that Bayern and Juventus situations are not similar.
