It's quite strange that last week Dortmund managed to beat Bayern Munich but on the other hand last night Dortmund lost against Stuttgart. I never thought something like this would happen in real life, but that's football, sometimes the results are unpredictable regardless of the opponent. The problem is that Dortmund should be able to win even though it is quite difficult against Stuttgart because they have the responsibility of taking over 4th place in the standings from Leipzig.

However, Dortmund failed to do this and they had to stay in 5th place in the standings and considering that Leipzig had just beaten Freiburg, this meant that both teams had the same 53 points this week. Next week will still be a challenge for Dortmund in the competition for the top 4 and if they fail again then Leipzig will again leave them with the difference in points.

Man, that Bayern collapse against Heidenheim was a head-scratcher. First half, they looked solid, in control. Then after the break… it's like a switch flipped. A very big loss to Munich as these games result further pushed them below the table thereby increasing the odds to loosing the trophy. Well it will be much of a heavy task on them, they'll only have to absorb the lesson and experiences learn and garnered whilst working towards bouncing back up into the trophy race of the German league again. What surprised me was that Frankfurt actually had one chance in the second half and I thought Frankfurt could score 1 more score to get full points but it turned out they were only able to score 1 goal and get 1 point.
However, it would be surprising if Bremen managed to maintain a 1-point draw even though previously Bremen experienced a deep slump when they suffered consecutive defeats previously.
A draw is a fair result for both teams each getting 1 point to add to their points collection.

Tuchel is the figure who is fully responsible for Bayern performance this season. The agreement to part ways at the end of the season apparently has no impact on improving the team performance, where Tuchel fleet is still losing to a mediocre club like Heidenheim. With the current difference in points, I consider the competition for the Bundesliga trophy to be over, because Leverkusen only needs one win to win the trophy.

It would not be wrong to say that this is Bayern worst season in the last decade, where they have a capable squad depth but failed to compete to defend the trophy. On the other hand, even though Bayern performed as well as last season, they will not be able to compete to match the consistency of Leverkusen who appear unbeaten to date.

The Bundesliga still has a few more matches left, it is possible that Bayern will stumble again, and they will be further adrift from Leverkusen. Meanwhile, the pressure they face will become even heavier, because now their position will be threatened by Stuttgart. If Tuchel and his fleet are still careless, then their position will be overtaken by Stuttgart in the future.

Maybe this is Tuchel’s strategy, he wants Arteta to think that everything is bad for Bayern, but they will play with all their strength against Arsenal. In as much as tuchel would want to make sure he's players are able to still maintain their best form so they will be optimal in the champions league, he wouldn't let go of an opportunity to win the bundesliga game too but they will also make sure to rotate players if need be so that they will still have a very healthy form for the champions league fixtures and be able to put up their beat performance. Actually this defeat will help Arsenal's confidence because it will make them feel Bayern is down with some weakness of which they can take advantage of but then it may not really be that.

Bayer Munich will definitely want to win the champions league game too so they are going to make sure not to allow the defeat so far in their bundesliga games be a reason t hey are unable to do the very best they should do in their champions league game so i still have some kind of confidence in Bayern Munich and i know it's really going to be an epic game for both teams and the best team should win as i don't support anyone.

After 2 league loss in  a row, it's hard to be optimistic for the 1st leg of the Champions League quarterfinal against Arsenal on Tue. There's a big chance Arsenal could seriously demolish them.

Bayern's performance must have been disappointing to their fans. At this stage, wasting 2-goals lead and allowing Heidenheim to come back with 3 goals was a bit of an embarrassment. After 2 league loss in  a row, it's hard to be optimistic for the 1st leg of the Champions League quarterfinal against Arsenal on Tue. There's a big chance Arsenal could seriously demolish them.

The problem is that every season gets to a point where the only thing that counts are the points. It doesn't matter how they played, but they had to win the game. I am bringing this up because Dortmund is fighting against these problems on a regular basis. Last season it cost them the Bundesliga title. They were the better team in the last game, but they didn't win it and allowed Bayern to take the lead and win the trophy. And look where they are now: played well, dropped out of the Champions League qualification. Efficiency has been an issue the whole season and when you look at the number of goals scored of the top four teams, Dortmund is about 10 goals behind. Dortmund has to play against Leverkusen and Leipzig. This could really go wrong for them.
