Yes Leverkusen does not seem to have dropped much, it can even be said that it is much more prepared for this season. They started with 3 points over Monchengladbach, although I admit that both teams games are equally strong. But what makes the difference is Xabi Alonso way of pressing the opponent relentlessly which makes Monchengladbach defense more open because they are unable to accept the onslaught from Leverkusen players. Xhaka, Grimaldo and Wirtz became heroes as usual, these three players' movements are very free.

That's still too soon to say if Leverkusen's performance is as good as last season or not because Leverkusen is still in the training situation and they started the season just recently. I think Leverkusen can now think about winning the Bundesliga title for the second time because Leverkusen doesn't have good competitors anymore and Bayern Munich with Kompaney can't be strong enough to stand against a team like Leverkusen with the coach and the players they have however nothing is clear yet and we should wait for for a few more weeks.
 

Obtaining victory in the first match of the season is always a good one and this gives club courage, motivation and hope of winning the next game and more... But winning the first match doesn't determine how far a club will go sometimes because some club are still building up and learning some club pattern of play. I agree with you. I usually tell people that if you're playing against Leverkusen and you hold them to a draw in, don't get excited that you've got yourself a point until the game's over because they've been known to pull the rug from under teams in dying minutes. I always had this confidence that Xabi will collect three points in their first game and they did it with so much finesse only them could be capable of doing.
 This performance by them has left an open challenge for the other big boys and if there will any competition, these clubs will have to win with three points. Dortmund did theirs yesterday, we'd be looking forward to the likes of Bayern and the rest.

Leverkusen is a team that does not accept defeat and can turn the game around in their favor on the last minute of the match. If you are leading them with one goal don't be happy until the final whistle, and if you are on a draw don't feel it is over until 90 minutes because they can shock you and steal all three points from you.

Real Madrid is a team that is also like Leverkusen in situations like this when you are winning them. The score more goals in the second half and take the lead from their opponents. It will be good to see how far Leverkusen will go unbeaten but I know that they will be defeated this season.

Honestly, I least expected that they will be the club to usurp the throne from Bayern Munich, if anything I felt it will be Dortmund that will step up and I'm happy for their transformation, winning the league for the first time in many years with an unbeaten record to boot.

Munich inaugural match ended with a victory over Wolfsburg with a score of 2-3, although Munich was able to dominate the match, but Wolfsburg was able to trouble the Munich defense in that match, even Munich which fielded its main squad in that match  had difficulty in creating opportunities to score goal after the first goal was scored in the 20th minute, to be honest, I actually thought that Munich would suffer their first defeat of the season in that match, because Wolfsburg was able to reverse the score to 2-1 in the 55th minute, but luckily for Munich they were able to make the score 2-2 again after a Kane  header was not able to anticipate well by Kaminski (suicide) in that match which resulted in the ball going into Wolfsburg's goal and making Bayern Munich come back with a score of 2-2, after continuing to try to pressure Wolfsburg finally Bayern Munich was able to score their winning goal through gnabry and made the final score 2-3.
Although Munich won today match, but I see it is very difficult for them to scoring this match so Kompany should evaluate their game today to be better in their next match.

The three big German clubs you mentioned all secured three points from their first league game of the season but it was Borussia Dortmund that got a more convincing win among the three. Bayer Leverkusen needed a stoppage time goal to win their game while Serge Gnabry scored in the 82nd minute of their game to get all three points. Talking about about Serge Gnabry and how improved he is at the moment, I will say the Germany international have improved from what we saw from him last season but don't think we should conclude about his improvement after just onr game

In my previous post, I said that I wanted to see the match between the 2 promoted clubs, so I will continue it here after I see their first appearance, especially Holstein Kiel who has finished it.
Even though they lost, I think Holstein Kiel's game was good, they did fall behind in the first half with 2 goals. But in the second half they were able to come back and reduce the score in the 63rd minute to 2-1. And when they had to play with 10 men because one of their players received a red card, they were still able to score a goal, unfortunately they were already 3-1 behind so they were still 1 goal short of equalizing. So I think there is hope that they showed through their game in the first week.

It was what everyone expected, none of those team is expected to lose on the first Match Day. Leverkusen showed what they were made of, Dortmund did as well and today Bayern Munich didn’t disappoint as well although they were tested by their opponent wolfsburg as they equalized and took the lead just a few minutes after the half time break but Bayern were able to take back the lead and secured all 3 points.

It’s not the perfect game but they will definitely improve their game with time i fully trust the manager and i have no doubt that he will compete for the title this season. For now it doesn’t matter what the score line will be all that matters is to win and secure all 3 points.

Bayern Munich is surely one of the biggest club in UEFA with their system and sources so as expected we have good start of the season for them in first half of the game they were doing good job and have early lead but in second half we have good fight from the Wolfsburg which score to goals through Majer and take lead as well but Bayern Munich done good fight back and having their first win under Vincent Kompany in their first game of the season.

Bayern Munich performance were good even few still having concerns but most chances they will be able to secure good rhythm in coming matches because things are looking fair enough for them to have good season after having terrible season, but we have to understand playing against top teams have never been easy for them.
